I have been going to The Hair After for hair and spa services since 2010, and I have never been disappointed with the level of quality, service, and kindness. It's wonderful when a simple haircut or coloring job transforms your life - I know that it has done so, several times, to mine. Mandi Fisher is the stylist whom I frequent, and I cannot speak highly enough regarding her level of skill, talent, compassion, and ability to listen to the needs of her clients. I have always loved the looks Mandi has created for me, and while I am there, I feel as though I am among friends. I place my full trust in Mandi and know that, whatever style or color you may be looking for, she can provide it. The entire salon is overflowing with talent. Mandi, as I have noted, is amazing. Kasey is excellent with using the Manic Panic line of colors to create gorgeous looks. Ashley is the sweetest person and has always done a fantastic job with my eyebrows and nails. Really, every single person at The Hair After is talented, expressive, and kind, and if you need any sort of hair or spa treatment, this is the place to go. I don't even live in Westminster now, but I still drive the 30 minutes back to The Hair After because I know it is absolutely worth it to do so! Most recently, Mandi (with an assist from Kasey) gave me a look that has changed my life - and was featured on Manic Panic's Facebook page. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August of 2013, and despite myriad treatments, I am still fighting. When I lost my hair in October 2013, I was devastated. But on May 14th, 2014 - two days before I participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life - I went to Mandi and asked her to dye my hair the colors that represent thyroid cancer (which are pink, teal, and purple/blue). She went above and beyond, took gentle care of my newly-grown-in hair, and when I left, I had the exact colors I had dreamed about. My entire family of five frequents The Hair After for all of our beauty needs. We became regular customers after our original stylist decided on a new career path. I was the first to make the plunge, and the kids were soon to follow. Kasey is my regular stylist/colorist, but everyone who works at The Hair After is skilled, professional and top-notch at customer service. Karina does great things with hair and lash extensions, pedicures and truly believable spray tans. Mandi does a banging man's style, and sweet Ashley will gladly paint your nine year olds toe nails in an awesome tiger design while you get 20 minutes alone with the worlds premiere colorist, Kasey O'Hara. Kasey is the consummate professional. She is on the cutting edge of hair design and color and spends much of her free time learning about and experimenting ways to make your experience better each and every time you visit her. She is truly an artist with color. She pushes the boundaries of color and always encourages her customers to "color outside the lines". I have truly never been happier with my hair since she came into my life and I will NEVER go to another stylist. I receive compliments on my style and color quite frequently and I have referred untold numbers of customers to her chair. She listens to what you want, and makes it happen. I trust her so completely at this point in our relationship that I now tell her to do whatever she wants- that is the level of trust I put into Kasey. I started going to The Hair After about 4 years ago. I've always gone to Kasey but Karina and Mandi have also done my hair too. Let me start with Kasey; she has an awesome personality and passion for what she does. I actually drive 12 hours from Nashville, TN to have her do my hair. I refuse to let anyone else touch it. (Except when she broke her arm in a million places and I was in town for a few days and NEEDED it done lol) . I can brag about her enough! She loves what she does and that's important in a stylist! Okay, Mandi... She does AMAZING styles! She's very patient and I say that because I came in one day to get my hair done by Kasey and wanted to treat my mom to getting hers done too! My mom is handicap and it takes a lot of patience to deal with her. Mandi did a great job with her and my mom loved her hair!! Last but not least, Karina... She is super bubbly and fun to talk to! She helped Kasey out on my hair after my car accident and was understanding that I was on crutches and needed some help. Kasey couldn't do mine that day because she had just had her hardware removed from breaking the million bones in her arm. Bottom line; this salon is GREAT and has an outstanding staff! The Hair After is a great salon, the prices are reasonable and the service is always great. I got married in October 2012 and had a brunch there (that was paid by the girls at the salon) and we had such a great time. They made it absolutely perfect for myself and my girls, we got our up do's and our make up done. I have to say my absolute favorites of the salon are Kasey, Karina, & Mandi! My stylist is Kasey and I have been with her since I can't even remember! She has such a passion for hair and she always has. It is crazy how beautiful she can make your hair. I started out as a natural dirty blonde and have gone from highlights to dark brown, back to natural and now I am a platinum blonde. I love that I can trust Kasey and let her do whatever she wants. I give her a little idea of what I want, and she knows exactly what to do. She is wonderful at her job and she cares about her clients. Anywhere I have moved I have always stuck with her and I don't plan to go anywhere else :) One last thing I would say is that the salon does not pressure you in purchasing products, they just recommend them. Also, they are great about small businesses, so they have little stations set up for local businesses to sell their products, its really nice that they do this. I am a regular customer of The Hair After for several reasons, but mostly because no one does my hair quite like Kasey does. I came to this salon seeking a change from my old hairstylist that had failed to cut my hair the way that I wanted no matter how many times I asked, and Kasey was so accommodating and understanding. She listened very carefully to my concerns and vision for what I wanted, and then made honest, realistic suggestions. Fast forward a couple of years, and I have gone from a short brown-blonde angular bob to a long, layered red-to-blonde ombre that is, without a doubt, my favorite hairstyle thus far. It was a process going from natural dirty blonde to all-over bright red, but Kasey was understanding and let me dictate the pace of the transition, which was incredibly helpful. She is a master colorist, and has an eye for detail that is hard to come by sometimes in this industry -- it's also important to point out that she learned everything she knows as an apprentice and not from a training program, so her skills were gained in the field and it definitely shows. If you are looking for a salon that is professional, welcoming, and up-to-date with modern color and style trends, this is the place for you. Anyone with long hair knows the angst of moving to a new area and finding a new stylist. My husband returned from taking his Mom to her salon and came back telling me he thought he'd found the place for me. This was the place he took HIS MOM, who is one of the grey haired wash and set crowd (although her hair always looks nice, but I'm a bit younger). So, the next time I took her and lo and behold he was right! To be honest, it didn't look like the sort of place she'd have gone - modern looking, really nice decor and stylists who specialize is some really interesting colour. I don't indulge in the multi-hued look, and do keep my hair a more natural colour (well, not MY colour, but a possible one.... I spent too much time in the Navy); Mandy does a superb job on mine as well as my daughter's more eccentric colours. Kasey, at the next station does remarkable work . The waxing specialist is also superb; I am horrible with names, but think it's Kassie. She has done my legs a number of times without the pain I have sometimes suffered elsewhere. I love The Hair After! My niece and I go to see Kasey on a regular basis but any of the girls there do a fantastic job. Kasey is their specialty color girl, Mandi does great up-do's, Karina is really wonderful at extensions and Ashley will do the cutest manicure for you. Personally, I was afraid to go lighter but Kasey did it in steps over a period of time and now I'm really happy. My niece wanted a short cut but was apprehensive and Kasey put her at ease and gave her a darling kids cut. Kasey is also really great with my bosses kids and they all adore her. If you don't know what you want for Christmas or your birthday ask for a Hair After gift card and get a spa package. That way you'll get to experience everything the salon has to offer! There is plenty of on street parking and a small lot in the back in which you can access from the alley behind it. They carry an array of manic panic colors and unique hair accessories. I usually go to another hair salon but my stylist is on maternity leave and thought I might try a closer salon. I made an appointment with Jessie for a partial highlight. She did not introduce herself to me when I arrived - not a big deal. She did a fine job on my hair and was finished in about 2 hours. She didn't explain at all what she was doing or planned on doing to my hair - she didn't even bother to ask how I wanted my hair styled, just assumed I wanted it curled. When she rang me up, my bill came to $175. I always tip with cash. When I hit 0 for the tip on the credit card reader, Jessie said, "that's nice" in a very passive aggressive way, assuming I want going to tip. I handed her cash after she handed me my receipt and said this is your tip. It's a shame because she did a fine job on my hair but her customer service sucks. I will not pay $175 plus a tip to be treated like that ever again. Iv honestly had better service at the hair cuttery for nearly $60 less. read more

I am so impressed with this Salon. I walked in this week to get a hair cut and highlights. Jessie was available to take me and she was great. She made sure that I was completely satisfied with her work and I left feeling comfortable and beautiful with what she had done. The customer service and professionalism that she showed was top notch. Having just moved from a different city and not sure where to go for a great hair cut I was happy to see that The Hair After lived up to all the Yelp reviews and I will be going back to Jessie from now on. Hello. I live in Baltimore City and I travel all the way to Westminster just to get my haircut done at The Hair After. I am a client of Mandi, who has been the most caring and talented hair stylists I've ever been to. Even though im losing my hair little by little, she tends on making it still look good! A few of my family members who live near Westminster also go to her. The other stylists there seem to be friendly and also very talented. The environment of the place is relaxing and theirs always a conversation going on and things to talk about . it beats going to a chain hair salon, and its very affordable. The Hair After is absolutely fantastic. Kasey is what I refer to as a hair genius. I have never ever left that salon unhappy. I will never go anywhere else or let anyone else touch my hair but her!! After a few days of painting and lifting - I called and asked MARILYNNE for an appointment for a massage - she called johathon- it was his day off - he met me within 45 min - talk about great service !! If you have never had a massage by Jonathan- you have no idea what your missing - I would compare him to Dr Pimple Popper - he finds those knots and works them til they are gone !! 90 min later I left feeling like a million bucks ! I love The Hair After! I have dark hair and wanted to go blonde. After a few no call backs from my old hair dresser, I asked others for recommendations. Kasey came highly recommended by a few people. I was worried about damaging my hair so she came up with a plan to do it in steps. I absolutely love my hair...each step looked great and I am now a very light blonde. Went here for the first time because of what I heard online. Got a tricky cut that a cheap shop couldnt have pulled off. The ladies at The Hair After determined who would be best for the job (men's hair, pompadour) and Mandi did the cutting, styling, and even color. She did an awesome job.
