Still on a search to find my nail salon here. Yelp searched showed mediocre reviews, but I think as nearby after a car service. I really liked Yuna, who did my SNS Dip redo. I came midday, so there was no wait at all. I was greeted immediately and with a friendly smile. Yuna and I had a great conversation, and my nails look perfect! She wasn't rough when removing the old dip color, and she didn't rub my nail beds raw. Just all around clean, professional, and high quality work. Tons of services available, so I plan to return for a pedi with the extra massage. For the color change in dip, the price was very reasonable. Only took a star off as I was not offered a beverage when I checked in, but I heard another lady come in after me who was. A little water would've been nice. read more

I decided to visit Outrageous Interiors today for some finds for my home. One of the other customers in the store had the most beautiful nails. When I complimented her on how pretty they were she said, "They're right up the street! Go check them out!" Well, I've found a new spot! Not just a new salon, but Don, who was amazing! I only had to tell him one time what I wanted and he knocked it out of the park! The attention to detail is one I haven't experienced in Georgia, since moving from New York some years back. He's very nice, conversations were great, he's well dressed, and had a little Swag to him. He also gave me a tour and the salon is huge!!! They have a bar (they offer you white/red wine, water, or juice ), a party room, and even a section for kids to go party and get pampered with with miniature pedicure chairs. So adorable. This place is absolutely horrible. I gave them a lot of business and recommended them until they messed up my child's nails after we told them multiple times what she needed. They charged us $40. We asked the technician to please soak them off since she messed them up in many different ways, she told us she would have to speak to her manager the next day. We came back the next day And we were told that they have to talk to the owner. We came back today this is our second time back again well actually the third time we have tried now to get our money back and get her nails soaked off. She told us again a different story that they are part of the big corporation and they don't have a manager or an owner to help. She told My husband that they would not refund anything and just continue to spew more lies. So we called the other nail care spas to find out what was going on. Come to find out, this location in East Cobb on Roswell Road was bought a little over a year ago by someone individually. They are not part of the other nail care spas and the other locations do not understand why they have not changed their name yet as they do not want any association. They are individually owned and they are lying to customers. Even if they are a corporation they need to have something in place where if someone got hurt or something is wrong that they take care of their customers so that we come back. We explained that to them today, the lady did not care at all if they lost a customer and let us walk out. I just wanted to share our experience because it is a massive risk for you to go there because they do mess up I have Heard other people talk about this as well, you will be left without anyone to refund you and without anyone to talk to you if you needed help for an injury or anything it's absolutely ridiculous and I have never seen a business run like this before. All of this over a $40 refund. Find somewhere else to go don't give them your business it's not worth it trust me I'm not angry I'm just trying to protect everyone else from going through what we went through and also if you do get hurt like I mentioned or cut anything like that and need to speak to you someone you'll be on your own. I love this place. The staff are nice and inform you of any up charges before they do anything. My favorite two ladies are Katie (pedicure) and Holly (Nails). They aren't rough or anything. I wish I took a picture of my Nails the first time I went. This photo is what my Nails currently look like after just two weeks of getting the sns. I have been here several times in the past I have had a good enough experience. My experience today was disappointing enough to prompt a review to warn others. I will most definitely not be going back...there are better salons on literally every corner in east Cobb. I went in for a gel manicure and brought my young daughter for a child's manicure and pedicure. (Hers was fine, no complaints there). The woman who helped my child was kind and did a great job. I had gel polish that needed to be removed and instead of soaking it off the person doing my nails used a drill and nail file to scrape it off. I even asked if she would soak them off because I didn't want to damage my nails and she just ignored me and kept talking on her phone. (Also want to note that it seems that the tools were not cleaned or or taken from any type of sanitizing device before use) Talking on her phone? Yup! She had her AirPods in her ears and had a conversation for the entire time she performed my service. She even used the camera function as a mirror at one point to stand up and tie her shirt in a fashionable little knot. For the rest of the service, she was sloppy, rushed and distracted and pretended not to understand or hear me when I asked a question. I've never had gel removed and reapplied in roughly 35 minutes ever! She just got up and left a few times while talking on the phone. And then the final time she got up, gathered her things and left so I assumed we were done even though she had not wiped the oil off my nails or anything. At this point I was irritated and just wanted to leave. Since she was gone, I gathered my things and child and started to walk to the door with my oily hands. A man was walking by and asked how it was, and I told him it was a disappointing experience. I said the person helping me was on her phone the whole time and just seemed to have disappeared. That being said, she sure did come running once she saw me talking to him. I was offered an I'm sorry and my check. Paid and left. Won't be going back anytime soon which is too bad, as my daughter liked the kids chairs. Updated to add that the gel chipped and peeled after three days. Terrible work! read more

My regular nail tech was booked and my nails were looking rough so I decided to try this place out. Walking in, it's a huge clean space. They were able to accommodate me immediately which was a big plus. I always get gel polish and they had so many to choose from . I'm not sure of the name of the lady that did my toes but Vince took care of my nails. He was very attentive to the shape and gentle. He offered me a glass of white wine and I relaxed the whole time. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the price. They charged me an extra $5 for coffin shape and then an additional $5 for the length of my nails. I would've been fine with one charge but both seemed a bit much. The only thing that made it better is the fact that they have a 20% discount off all services until the end of July. My total was $71 for an acrylic fill with gel polish and a basic pedicure, but with the discount it was right around $58. I'd come again probably if I wanted to treat myself. $45 for a fill is pretty steep for me. read more

Dirty, rude. I will NEVER go back here. My sister, child and I went this week. The nail tech who did my toes cut me in one spot and filed so hard she cut a different toe. The woman who did my sisters nails cut her, and was just rude. She walked away after she started my sisters nails, helped another woman with her pedicure, then came back to my sister. She blamed my sister for a smudge in the nail polish, and never told her to wash her hands after the gel manicure was done. When my sister showed her the cut she said something to the manager, and walked away. She never apologized. She washed the tools in the pedicure water that she used on my sisters nails. And she threw away a dirty, used cotton ball with nail polish from another woman in the pedicure water for my child. His feet were no longer in it but GROSS! He was still sitting there actively getting the pedicure! You don't throw away something from someone's foot UNDER another person. The manager was apologetic. I'll still never go back. Under new ownership this nail salon has forgotten about customer service. Prices have increased and they are now the most expensive in the area. Offering a 10% introductory discount but when I returned with my receipt to show I was not given that, the owner refused to make an adjustment. How very short sighted - the amount would have been $6. Went in for a new set today. I understood that there was a charge to soak off my existing nails, cool. The woman kept asking if I wanted SNS, felt like she asked a little too much after I said no. After she soaked my nails off I was passed to another chair, which I didn't mind because she kept asking why I wanted an overlay and saying my nails were so short (When a customer comes in asking for something specific, just roll with it). The man then said the same thing. Again no. I am on a mission to grow out my nails. So if I'm asking for a specific service again...just do it. I don't like having to explain to anyone why I want something done the way I'd like if I'm paying them to do what I want. All in all my nails are nice. I won't complain. What I will complain about is how I asked for a simple overlay...that is just acrylic on my natural nails and clear polish, boom...done! I get to the front and I get told all the charges I'm being charged. $ for a soak off, $5 extra for pink acrylic, $5 extra for this and that but there's a percentage off for being a new customer. All I'm saying is don't just do stuff and then say later this is why the price is more lol i could have had pink polish vs. being charged for using pink acrylic lol it's all good though. This is the BEST service I have had to date in Georgia. I moved here 8 months ago and I have been on a search for a good place. I have been to 3 other places and this place, by far, is the best. It is relaxing and spotless on the inside. The 2 guys, Mike and Ben, (I don't want to share those names because they'll become too popular) really listened and worked on my nails like artists. My experience was very so-so. The technician who did my pedicure kept trying to upsell me on various other services like a paraffin wax like a hot stone massage a d like an eyebrow wax when all I wanted was a pedicure. Every time I turned around she was trying to see if I would buy other services which was very annoying. My favorite part of a pedicure is the foot massage and this was nothing more than a foot rub. Went here about 2 weeks ago with my friend. We were both very disappointed with our service. First off, my technician asked if I was sure I wanted the color I chose and said she wasn't sure she liked the color. Then she was pressuring me to get SNS and I told her no I want to stick with gel but she KEPT insisting making me feel very uncomfortable. I felt as if I had no choice in what I wanted. She then told me I was very pretty but needed to get my eyebrows done. She said she can see a lot of hair on my eyebrows that did not need to be there. Backhanded compliment?? Then my technician had the audacity to ask if my friend was my grandmother in front of my friend!! When I said no she said "oh your mother then" This was by far the rudest person I have ever met. Also, while doing my nails she cut me and made me bleed. When she was done with my nails I saw a chip on one finger and asked her to fix it which she then told me she did not see anything and grabbed my hand. I just left today without getting my manicure and sadly will never go back again. I have been using Nail Care Spa in East Cobb for some time now for a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure. Have always been happy until recently. In May I went and the employee performing my manicure talked me into SNS nails which I've had previously elsewhere but not in a long time. Well they started breaking and chipping in less than a week which has never happened to me. They normally last up to 3 weeks before any issues. I did not go back and complain at all. Today I decided that was probably a fluke and called to make an appt and she told me to come in at that time. I arrived within 5 to 10 minutes and said I wanted a gel manicure an pedicure. Another lady walked in a few minutes behind me. She had never been there as she was not sure where to look for polish and asked if they took walk ins. I told her where to find the polish for colors for gel and sns as the employee was too busy to help her. They seated me and I sat for a bit. Someone came and started the water for me and the walk in. Then they had me put my feet in the water. By the time someone was available to start my pedicure the water was almost room temp and I believe I had waited over 30 minutes. I arrived there sometime around 1:40pm and my pedicure was finished around 3pm. She did not give me the full 15 minutes of massage time with the pedicure I chose as there were many clients waiting. She also put my shoes on my feet immediately after putting on the top coat forcing her to have to fix the polish. She then basically told me bye and I asked about my manicure. She was surprised and told another to do it when I said it was supposed to be gel. In the meantime they had started the nails on the walk in before me. Then someone else came over and began a manicure on a teenager who came in after me. I really could not believe what was happening. If I had been a walk in I could understand a wait but I called for an appt and they were taking care of others that were there after me. I left and when asking the woman who did my pedicure why others who came in were being taken care of before me she either had no answer or could not explain to me. She did say sorry and I did tip her but in retrospect really should not have tipped her well like I did as she was more concerned about the other clients than the client she was immediately working with.
