I am not sure why the stars aren't more for this family owned salon. Every time I visit they are friendly. The first time I went was with my wife for mani pedis. Eric was my tech and he was fabulous! the spa pedi was so relaxing! I most recently brought my elderly mother in law for a dip manicure. She was visiting from Pittsburgh. Since she doesn't drive and doesn't go out much I wanted to make sure she had a good experience. She was pleasantly greeted by Fong. he offered water, joked with her and made her feel very comfortable. Her anxiety is usually terribl, but after the experience she raved about how pretty her nails looked and how much she liked Fong. She wants to visit more often just for her nails. Got a basic pedi. 30 to 45 minutes soak. About an hour and a half total for $37.50. Really professional job on the nails, the cuticles. Professional job on cleaning the rims. Sanded some of the rough spots with a Dremel. Basic includes washing the feet up to the knees in a massaging fashion. Highly recommended the service and professionalism. Rude service. Rushed jobs. Mocking and complaining of customers. 4 days later and my acrylics are chipping off!!! Paint job on nails are half assed and the design looks nothing like I wanted. Like a 5 year old drew it. She didn't seem to like my tip so I guess that's why she was so careless. They should let you pay at the end so they can work for the tip not decide how well they'll do it. I tipped about 25%! They did not give me a receipt as I paid in cash and they still charged me the credit card price so I can't even go back and have them fix it! read more

I went in there yesterday to get my nails done for prom. It was 4:30, and there were two nail techs in there- one was doing a pedicure and one was sitting at her station with no customer. She explains to me that she has an appointment at 5:00 & she will get my nails done before her appointment gets there. She starts FILING my nails and gets HALF WAY done when her appointment walks in 20 minutes early and she tells me to GET UP and come back in an hour. This is extremely unprofessional because when you are giving your services to someone, you never do it half way and tell them to get up. She was also extremely rude, do not recommend to anyone ever. read more

I went here for a basic manicure with shellac. For starters, they didn't have a grey color so I went with the color changing which I hated. They put the nail polish right over my cuticles and didn't clean them up beforehand whatsoever. I felt like the salon was nice enough and the staff members were friendly. I was very unhappy with my service and feel as if I paid for a service that I didn't receive. I would only go back again if they actually performed the services I requested. Terrible experience here- very unprofessional and overall awful quality. I already didn't have a good experience at the salon; halfway through, when I voiced my concern that the glitter didn't fade/look like ombré, she said she couldn't even do ombré. So weird! She tried to comply though and made it a little better. A week later, they got super brown and nasty on the ends for no reason whatsoever. Would not recommend! read more

Had a great experience today. I walked in without an appointment at about 5pm on a Friday. Surprisingly there was no one there, so no wait. I was greeted promptly, tile the woman what I want and she got right to it. She tried to upsell me to a gel manicure but when I said I just wanted acrylics, she said ok and didn't ask me again. A few minutes in, a man came out from the back and switched with her, so he finished my set. He gave me just the length I asked for, answered all my questions and was very friendly. After he put the acrylic on and was shaping them, I told him my pinky finger was burning, so he put some Burn No More on it right away and explained it most likely from the acrylic chemical. He did a great job shaping my nails and also applying the polish I picked. It's a clean place, very friendly people, and reasonably priced. My full acrylic set was $30 and u have a five dollar tip. I came from south Carolina to Ohio to visit my mom. I stayed for 3 weeks and my nail needed to be done. I first came to DD Nail, but The experience was horrible. The owner, Dan, I believe, was trying to apply the pink and white new set for me, but his practices and moves were so sluggish. My nails ended up with a lot of arcrylic sticking around the cuticle, and the white smile lines were done horribly with a full price charged for $55.00 Then I came to the Nail club, and they were busy. I came in with a bit of attitude due to the reactions I had from DD nail. The guy greeted me and asked what I need that day. I explained to him the situation and until my turn he helped me throughly. I was so happy with the redone nail. I also had a pedicure here, the lady had a lot of experience and she will answer most of your questions even though she doesn't speak English too well, but she is very friendly. I even had my big toes designed st no charge. I would recommend this place for everyone because they are very experienced and friendly. I will always return here when I am up in Ohio. read more

Went for a gel manicure and to fix some damage from a previous manicure at another shop. He was very nice but tried to use a dremel tool on my cuticles instead of standard practice of pushing them back. He was trying to take the quick, easy way out. I didn't need more damage on my nails. read more

I came in without an appointment and didn't get served until 2 hrs later. That is understandable but in that time I was skipped over several times. I asked for coffin shaped nails and what I received was not that. My nails were rough and not shaped right. They could have even been painted a little better. I will not be going back! read more
