The service was bad especially the lady that did my nails she was rushing and it was not clean everything had dust on it on top of that she made three of my nails bleed and continued to use the tools and other stuff on my cuts and just wiped it away my nails turned out terrible I went for a French tip but they came out so chunky and terrible I've gotten my nails done at many many nail salons before and they have never been this terrible worst nail service ever do not recommend. read more

Was looking for a spot on President's day to get my nails done before my lash appointment. I found this little gem ! I was able to get my nails , brows and lashes done by the same lady who did an amazing job! She was so patient with me and my two year old who asked a lot of questions. I will drive 40 minutes to see this lady each time ! My new spot!!!! read more

Nail Depot - My eye, brows and nails popping! - Nail Salons Near Me - Dothan, Alabama

My sister/parents "WERE" regular customers at Nail Depot in Dothan AL (Inez Rd) & I was looking for a relaxing day so I thought I would go & treat myself to a pedicure (on 3/30/22 - it was everything but relaxing, I left PISSED!!). My parents/sister recommended Stephanie & said she normally does a great job at pedicures & takes her time doing their pedicures. WELL to make a very long story short, this was the WORST experience I have ever had in my life at a nail salon (been getting mani/pedis for yrs) & before the owners get on here trying to lie, it was NOT a secret b/c I let them know & every customer in their knew I was not happy with their services. I made an appt w/ Stephanie for 1pm b/c she was the recommended person. I got there a few mins after 1pm & she started on my pedicure. Let me say this again she started on my pedicure A FEW MINUTES AFTER 1 p.m. & was COMPLETELY done, nail polish & all at 1:28 p.m. I have NEVER had my feet done aka a FULL PEDICURE COMPLETED with nail polish and all in about 20 MINUTES. As soon as I got there, I told Stephanie she was recommended by my family, who she knows. I told her, I was way overdue for a pedicure & I had a lot of dead skin on the bottom of my feet. She EXPEDIENTLY RUSHED on my feet so that she could get up RIGHT AWAY & go & start working on someone else's toes/nail design. I told the owners & Stephanie I was not happy w/ my service b/c my pedi was done in 20 mins & my feet still looked the same as they did when I walked through the door. Instead of them immediately trying to make it right, after showing them my dry feet, the male owner looked at my dry feet (being an unprofessional smart @$$) & said well it looks good to me. That's when I went the hell off. I walked around asking customers if they thought my feet look good (the looks on their face, smh). The male owner's wife Sandy REPEATEDLY kept saying, "but you asked for an appt w/ Stephanie which is true but I KEPT trying to explain to her that I made an appt w/ Stephanie b/c she was recommended & that it was my first time visiting (poor customer service). That's the only reason I knew who Stephanie was but she CONTINUED to REPEATEDLY say the same things over (I'm VERY EDUCATED w/ several degrees, thank you) so I called my mom & put her on the speakerphone (everyone heard convo) & she also told the owners it was not right & that she too had to make Stephanie redo her feet before. After it continued for a while & a scene was being made, the newest lady working in the salon called me over & proceeded to wet the bottom of my feet ONLY & very briefly scrub the heels of my feet & rinse them w/ VERY COLD water that was in a DIRTY FOOT TUB. The reason I say dirty is b/c the bag used on my feet had already been taken out the tub & the tub had not been cleaned yet so I don't know if it was clean prior to my feet being done (my feet were in a bag initially), DISGUSTING!! When I pointed out dead skin areas, Stephanie proceeded to use the "INGROWN TOENAIL CLIPPERS" to cut the dead skin off my feet. Are you serious? Anyone (esp a nail salon) knows that is an infection waiting to happen, especially when I didn't see them disinfect the clippers. I am a registered nurse & have been for 13 yrs AND I worked at the health department so I know all about infections (VERY IMPORTANT TO ME). By the way, I need to report that to the health dept inspectors (UNSANITARY). I told the owner while I was there that I was going to leave a BAD review & tell why I was leaving it. This is my WHY. I spoke to Stephanie, telling her that I felt that she rushed my feet so she could work on someone else's feet which was not right b/c I was spending my hard-earned money as well. She did not say one word or respond to me, how rude & UNPROFESSIONAL. I would NEVER go back to that salon and I will NEVER recommend it to anyone else REGARDLESS of the reviews that you see. I'm sure there are probably many other complaints not reported. I was not going to let this one go. NAIL DEPOT wants to do a PITIFUL job, get your money, & send you on your way. STAY AWAY!!! I am 100% sure & HONEST on everything I said & there were witnesses in the shop. I could care less about any type of response from NAIL DEPOT owners b/c all they're going to do is get on here and lie & it's just going to piss me off more. Instead of lying, just roll those cameras & let everyone see for themselves (my entrance/exist times & how things went down). STAY AWAY from NAIL DEPOT in Dothan AL on INEZ ROAD, trust me. Last but not least, I called my sister/parents & told them about my experience like I told the owner I was going to do. NAIL DEPOT lost them as customers as well. In total, they lost 4 customers including me that day, 3 of them being their regular customers. Great job Nail Depot and thanks for NOTHING!! Learn some customer service and how to treat your customers (esp 1st timers) & you may be able to keep some. I would give a neg 0 if I could. read more
