I got my very first gel manicure here more than a year ago, and have been a loyal customer ever since. Although I do have a favorite manicurist, on occasion I have had to get service from others, and I can say with confidence that all of the staff provide top-quality services and consistent, perfectly-finished manicures. Everyone is attentive and professional. The environment of the shop is serene and relaxed, with tromp-l'oeil scenes of trees, rivers and birds decorating the walls of the salon and instrumental music playing quietly in the background. Instruments are cleaned in an autoclave to insure sanitary tools. If you communicate what you want to your manicurist, he or she will make every effort to make sure you receive the treatment you want, including the exact shape of your finished nails. Each time I have called for an appointment, I was able to be seen at the time of my choosing, even during busy summer hours. I would highly recommend this salon for anyone's first-time gel or acrylic manicure - you will be amazed at the results. As for the cost of services - all prices are clearly displayed on a chart above the cash register so there are no surprises. The cost for a first-time application of a gel manicure is extremely reasonable, and depending how fast your nails grow, maintenance on this type of manicure is about a 2-week expenditure. Walk-in clients are taken with courtesy and I have never seen anyone told to "come back later". I usually bring my own polish, but this salon offers a huge variety of colors, including OPI brands, and they seem to stay current on which colors are trendy or popular for the season, even offering 'crackle' and glitter colors. Smetimes when I've been getting my nails done, there have been girls having theirs done for prom, anniversaries, or other special occasions, and this particular salon has won "Best Of" awards in my town for many years. I love coming here ! Best nail salon in Santa Fe hands down. I've tried everyone around town it seems. Ben, Mack, Danny, Amy, Lee always provide the best most professional service and they deserve to win BEST OF SANTA FE every year. They have a selection of every color of the rainbow and would never think to scuff your new gel polish or make you bleed. I'm not from Santa Fe and I struggle with depression, so sometimes when the self care becomes impossible Nail Experts is where I know I will be welcome. I come here because they have become like family. Sometimes I go awhile without making it in but I know they won't judge me for my busted nails and raggedy cuticles but welcome me back and try to convince me to go for the glitter! Pedicures,manicures,etc. are body work. It's emotional and nothing is worse than trusting your body with someone who doesn't and won't respect it. Highly recommend Nail Experts in Santa Fe. I have been going here for over two years since moving here from San Francisco in 2014 and can't say enough good things about the entire staff. I go once a month for a full mani/pedi. My appointment time is always honored as scheduled. The salon is clean and the friendly staff is very attentive to my needs. I would recommend Nail Experts without reservation. I have been a client for 8 years and have always received the best customer care. This is a family owned/operated business and they work together as a team. I have a rebase and pedicure every 2 weeks and have never been disappointed with the results. This salon is so clean and sanitary. When the manicurists are not working on clients they are busy sweeping, washing and tidying up the salon. I had received a gift certificate to another salon and was very unhappy with the acrylic set and polish that I had received. I went to nail experts to see if they could help fix it. Ben was so helpful and he removed the polish, reshaped the nails and made them more what I wanted. Then he repainted with a gorgeous cat eye color. I couldn't have been more pleased. I've being going to Nail Experts for years and their service and cleanliness is always top notch! They only use nail files ONCE (so you don't have to worry about getting someone else's used file) and they always clean their metal tools after each customer. And of course they do a great job! My mom, sister and myself walked in for pedicures. They seated us right away and started working on us immediately. The service was spectacular and the employees were amazing. Came in with my mom (which this is her go to place) to get our feet and hands done gel on the hands and normal nail polish on the toes. Great service and totally happy how my hands and feet came out!
