After a quick phone call explaining my needs, the owner came to my house and confirmed the issues. He came up with multiple options and quoted variable prices ranges and gave an estimate of each products' life span. I took the time to get a few other quotes, but none of the other businesses inspired the confidence or the range of products that this company provided. We agreed on a price and date, I then made a small deposit compared to the size of the job. I got a call two weeks out from the agreed upon timeline and materials were delivered to the job site and I made another payment. With in a week, the business owner and his roofing crew showed up and walked me through the process one more time before starting the work. They installed a black steel roof and eaves trough with gutter guards. The product and workmanship was guaranteed for life. The roofing crew showed up on time every day, ensuring that my property was respected and maintained daily. They were exceptionally polite and wonderful with my children and their curiosity. When the project was completed, the owner walked me through the complete build, ensuring client satisfaction. The completed product was outstanding... I made a final payment on the project at that time. I feel that I have the nicest roof in the neighbourhood, and it should last me a lifetime... With all of the negative stories in the news about construction companies scamming homeowners, I was worried about starting a project of this magnitude. I feel blessed to have found this company... They ignored this completely and instead wrote "Rear only" on the contract. This section was no more than 15 square feet and they charged us $699 HST included for this small portion. A previous contractor had quoted us $700 for both the front and the rear. We only went with Sky High because the other contractor was unavailable at the time. When I questioned them about the fact that they disregarded what my wife had told them, they basically said my wife was lying and that she should have read the contract better. While I do not dispute that the contact should have been read better, the way they treated me and the disparaging comments made about my wife were completely uncalled for. They then suggested that I wasn't going to pay my bill. I have never not paid a bill and for them to say that I would even do that is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. All in all this company has the worst Customer Service I have ever seen. They were constantly cutting me off as I was trying to talk to them. I would never recommend them to anyone.
