Robbers, don't even think to hire them. Don't know any job. First day, technician told me to complete full work within 3 days but then he took 10 days and didn't finish job. They are trained to waste time on job as they are charging per hour. I asked on first day- does he know electrical work? He said- yes. He spent 3 days on my electrical work. Put white wire one day, yellow wire next day, but finally couldn't do job. It was simple 2 lights installation as shown in picture attached. He wasted my 3 days labor for this electrical work and I had to get done with other electrician. The technician who was working at my house came to my neighbor house to fix her dishwasher in off hours. So, their tech will work efficiently in off hours but if you call through office - they will not care for your work. They will leave mess and trash behind the work, so get ready to do by yourself. When you call customer service, they will put your call on hold. Bill can help initially but then only Lauren can help you. Lauren will never come back on call or email, she will just call and leave voicemail. If you call them they will put you on hold for infinite time. You have to press 1 for new job, if you want to reach out. All good reviews here are from their friends and family. None of their customers are happy and satisfied with their work. So, don't get robbed, Run far far away. And yes, if tech will go Home Depot, forget it, it will take hours and hours to come back on the site and you have to pay for full hours.... Buyers beware.... This was without a doute the worst service I ever experienced. Do not waste your money on this company. I recently hired them to install Christmas lights on my roof(s), lower and top roof. They only completed the bottom level and said that they were unable to install the upper level because of what they referred to as siding issues. I had another company verify that there were not issues and the lights could have been installed. So, only about one third of the (agreed) work was completed. The small amount of work that was completed on the porch roof was done very poorly. I needed a sink installed but we measured the sink incorrectly which isn't their fault .. they advised us of the incorrect size but at that point we just felt like just go ahead and install it ..at some point I was shown a hole in the wall after they removed my previous sink but what I didn't know was there was also a hole also on the opposite side of the other wall and they just bolted the sink against it .. I would think if I'm paying hourly handyman services they wouldn't leave the walls caved in like that. My light fixture they installed isn't centered .. My medicine cabinet they installed is loose .. you can lift it up from the bottom and see the space And to top it all off my brand new sink has a huge hole they cut into the bottom .. it's very sloppy and way too big .. they also made deep scratches in the bottom of my new sink We were told 399,00 for four hours .. it was a little under four hours and we got charged a flat rate of 450. 00 no adjustments to the price even after we complained and showed evidence of the damage, that was over two weeks ago that we complained and no one has gotten back to us to try to rectify the issue Never again! read more

Do Not Pay until the job is completely done to full satisfaction. They installed a wall air condition unit replacing an older one. The had to come back to fill in the gaps they left with foam sealer. They did not come back to cut the foam or cover the bare wood they used to secure the unit. It's left with bulging bubbled foam all around the sides and around the unit with the raw wood exposed. I hired Nailit Handyman to modify some built in bookshelves, to fix a sheetrock seam on my bedroom ceiling and prep both for painting so we can paint, then if there was any time left over to fix any sheet rock cracks and also prep them for painting. I booked them for a full day which was 8 hours. When I spoke to Tom he claimed his guys were MacGyvers that were master carpenters and that were very skilled. This was NOT the case. My handyman was Fabio Goncalves Let's go through all the issues. 1. The whole time he was here he ONLY worked on the bookshelf, and he patched a couple of cracks in the drywall. He did not get to the bedroom ceiling at all and then said there was no time for him to do it. 2. The bookshelf looks horrible! MacGyver?? More like Mr. Magoo. It looks like an amateur did it, not a "professional master carpenter" He didn't even finish the bookshelf and told us: "Oh you have to sand it, and you have to add this piece of wood so it looks better" Umm that is what I paid THEM to do! If a carpenter saw the work this guy did, they would probably cringe at how bad it was done, how sloppy and how crappy it came out. 3. He left a mess and didn't even clean up after himself 4. The couple of cracks he did patch with compound, he did a very sloppy job and did not even prep it good enough to be sanded and then even dripped compound on a part of my wall and didn't bother to clean it off. 5. Even though I had booked him for a full day, he left over 2 hours early!! He claimed that his bosses were Jewish and he wasn't allowed to work longer. As someone who has worked for Orthodox Jewish people in the past, I KNOW on Fridays they need to stop finish working by sundown. The sun was actually still up and was still up for another 3 hours after he left. So this is BS. Also, if they knew they could only work until a certain time on Friday, then WHY book the full day and charge me for 8 hours when he was here a little less than 6? 6. He said there was not enough time to do the bedroom ceiling. Well, had he hadn't taken the time he was here to ONLY do the bookshelf, he would of had the time! The two main reasons why I hired these people were to modify the bookshelf and fix the ceiling. 7. He went to Home Depot for materials, took way too long and then never showed us a receipt or anything!! How are we supposed to know what they charge us for materials is valid and not a lie? I have never seen such unprofessional work! I would NOT recommend these guys to do any work. Now because of their incompetence, I have to hire someone else to fix their work and make it look professional and finish they things they failed to do. We were supposed to start painting so we can move in next week and we can't even do that because I need to have someone else come in and fix their F-ups!! He also didn't clean up after himself and also even though I had paper on the floors still managed to get a ton of dust of the floors I just spent $4550 refinishing last week. I would stay far away from these guys! I regret hiring them and wish I had hired someone to do it based on the job, not by the hour! I was afraid that if they were paid by the hour that they would take their time and milk it and I was right! Even when I expressed these concerns before hiring them, they re-assured me they were "professionals" and wouldn't do that.. BS! These guys are FAR from professionals. PLEASE READ!!! Don't fall for the same scam we did. We contacted Nail it Handyman to build a play set we bought for our kids. The play set is very large and the manufacturers notice says it can take an average of 2 days with 2-3 guys. We sent all the information over to Nail It and Ben, their salesperson promised 2 guys 8 hours and guaranteed it would be done. We were a bit skeptical and Ben was very pushy, he kept pitching the "if you schedule for tomorrow we will discount the job $300 per technician" costing $1300 and a further discount if paid by check. They "require" you to provide a credit card to even book the job but "will not charge until the job is done". WRONG. We were completely deceived. The next day 2 guys show up to our house in the pouring rain. We still take them around back to show them the job. Their technician said it would be impossible to build in the rain and he's gonna tell the office he can't complete the job and to reschedule. We were fine with it UNTIL, Laura their horrible "operations manager" told us, even tho THEY acknowledged they cancelled, we still had to "pay". I told Laura, no work was done; we weren't provided a service and your guys cancelled the job due to the rain, after much back and fourth and serious frustration, she said "too bad I'm following policies and you are going to pay whether you like it or not". As quickly as she could, she took the payment in FULL. I immediately contacted my credit card company to let them know I did not authorize this charge. The credit card company reported that the charge was valid due to a signed contract.. what??? I didn't even know THERE WAS ONE. They FORGED my name on a contract that I never signed and stole my money. The credit card company is refusing to refund it all due to this "contract" which I have proof I never signed. This company is a nightmare. They scammed thousands of people and I'm not the only person they forged their signature on a fake contract. Ben certainly NEVER told us about any "contracts". This is exactly how they scam you, the second they get your card information, they charge you for the job and whether you are provided services or not, just because "they showed up" you have to pay and if your like us and was never told about a contract, they add your "name" to a docusign to ensure they get the money. I'm still disputing this payment and have been since MAY! I've been demanding a "copy" of this "signed contract" and will be taking it immediately to the police. They give you a quote for labor over the phone saying the labor will cost $1,500 for the technicians, then tell you on the first day of work that it will cost DOUBLE because they sent 2 "technicians". BEWARE because they ask for a credit card to book the appointment. I was planning to pay by check and figured they wouldn't charge me if I paid essentially cash. WRONG. It is a long story but the upshot is they send guys who have no experience in what you need, then milk the hourly labor costs with slow work and trips to Home Depot. My job was incomplete and they charged my credit card TWICE $850 & $1,565, even though I already gave them a check for $1094. Well over the labor cost that was quoted to me and they didn't even finish the job because I sent them away on the second date for the up charge of the labor. DO NOT hire them to assemble anything unless you want it partially and poorly assembled. I hired NailIt to assemble a portable basketball hoop. When booking the job, I specifically mentioned the type of hoop so they would know what to expect. The person who came to do the work seemed to have no experience with assembling a hoop and was figuring it out as he went. He did not follow the instructions in order, left off pieces, and didn't fully tighten everything. It took him much longer than the allotted time, and then he left without finishing because he said he was only hired for a half-day (yet still charged me for the extra hour he worked). Customer service was no help. Their response was "you hired us for half a day, regardless of whether the job is finished". They came back the next day to finish after I complained, but they only did one more step in the assembly- and left again without finishing. They lost (or took) a few pieces that were missing when I tried to finish the assembly. They claimed they left them by the side of my house, but they were not there when I looked (why would they knowingly leave extra pieces by the side of my house anyway?). I had to reorder those pieces from the manufacturer and install them myself. Weeks later, the glass backboard shattered, and it was discovered that they failed to put the spacers between the rim and the backboard, which caused the break. Again, customer service was no help, claiming that I voided their warranty by removing the broken backboard to replace it myself. I was not going to leave broken glass hanging above my driveway. I would not recommend this company since they do not stand behind the completion or quality of their work and do not seem to care about making things right with their customers. So they are supposed to assist in buying materials but their system was down. After 2 trips to home depot, the technician, did not actually start work before almost noon. He was to paint 2 bedrooms and fix the radiator in the apartment. He said that if he did the radiators it would take all day and in turn he would not be able to get the painting done. We opted for the painting. He called later on that night after leaving and said that he would go back the next day and finish the painting job for $500. I was unable to do Tuesday and so we spoke on Thursday and he came to my job on Friday 10/20/2023 as I was unable to go back to the apartment before. He stated that he felt bad and would be able to give me a discount in seeing that the system was giving issues for him to be able to get the materials. He said that he would put up the doors and do the radiator for the additional $500 and he would finish painting the bedrooms and any other painting that needed to be done in seeing that he could not finish on the original day. I went to the home on the Saturday. All the garbage was left on both days. Coffee spilled and left on my hardwood floors. Nothing was completed. Not one room was fully painted. Even after coming on Friday, again nothing was done. I went on the Saturday and it was clear that this is a rip off. The doors that he hung cannot close. Garbage everywhere. Half ass job. I will never do any kind of work with your company again. I trusted you and there is no way that I could or would waste my hard earned money again. I have let my friends know not to use you. They were hired to repair shower handle, fix a leaking spigget for the hose, replace my mailbox, replace seals for shower and redo Caulking. Ended up breaking the spigget and destroying the tub fixture. What was a small job became an emergency. Ended up calling a plumber. The mailbox was left cut at the post and never repaired was told that they ran out of time, what was a simple replacement became a project that I had to hire someone else to fix. Although the warranty there work they said my warranty was void because I called a plumber for the emergency they created. The handyman was two hours late (stuck in traffic), but the real issue was the quality of the work. When I hire someone, I expect them to do a better job than I could have done myself. As it was, I had to re-spackle the whole area because he left a divot that was 5" long, 1/4" deep, and 1" wide. The entire area (6"x6") was uneven, with visible cracks and lines throughout. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! they are a total scam, the first thing they do is to get a hold of your credit card info to charge you their initial fee of $ 470, without finishing the job, the technicians are very inexperienced and they drag the job to keep charging you by the hour, in my case I requested them to install an exhaust fan in my bathroom, the tech did not where to start he looked so confused that he admitted he was not the guy for the job, another guy showed up 6 hrs later and he made a huge cut on my ceiling way off the joist where the fan assy is supposed to be secured to, 9 hrs into the job and nothing got done but a hole in my bathroom ceiling and a charge to my credit card for almost $500, they offered to completed the job at the expense of me paying them more hrs, I said thank you but NO thank you, this was a really bad experience and what upset me the most was the lack of ownership and dishonesty towards customers expecting a decent service, they need to be out of business, PLEASE read other reviews with similar experiences like mine, I ended up doing the job myself with great peace of mind! read more

Run for the hills!!! Hired these guys to install an above ground pool liner - simple right, as they say they do this service. NOT! I had some extra sand and asked them to please use it to level some areas around the walls of the pool. They didn't and told me they had enough already. I now have areas where the liner is not flat and I can feel the structure underneath. I hope that it does not puncture over time. As they charge by the half day they told me that they could not install the skimmer the same day (the original pool company did) that they had to come back the next day. They also told me that my posts must have moved as the top rails were not matching up. Guy comes the next day and obviously has no clue about pools. Installs the skimmer and does not cut out the liner so that the water could ACTUALLY GO INTO THE SKIMMER! Tries to Adjust the top rails with some success. Now water is leaking out of the back of the skimmer - another guy comes and tells me he must have installed it wrong since the gasket for the skimmer has flaps that go on both the inside of the pool and the outside where the skimmer connects (also tries to adjust the top rails) . Tells me I need to drain the entire pool so that he can adjust the liner and put the skimmer on the right way. 14,000 gallons later another guy comes back - he installs the skimmer and tells me that all the top rails are different sizes - he takes the all off and puts them back on and they all fit!!! Puts the skimmer back on - Fill the pool up - still leaks but not that bad. Such a shame - clearly these guys do not know anything about pools. read more
