FABULOUS! The Nail Port was the closest to our hotel, and I was apprehensive after looking at reviews. They must be from high maintenance people cuz I didn't see any of those issues. Alex did such a good job when I came in with a broken nail a day before we were set to go on a cruise..I hesitate to say, her dip was better than my regular guy back home. Very thorough. Shop was busy but not overly so. Everyone in the shop was very friendly. Terrible experience from start to finish. Switched me to someone else halfway between my appointment, I had to ask why they were moving me and they said the lady that decided to help me had an appointment, but I don't know why she would take me in the first place if she had an appointment, making me get up and discard me to the next person who did a terrible job on my nails. My nails were coming off the acrylic so I asked for a fresh acrylic set and he tried saying the dip was better but I explained dip is not what I want. Then some lady offered me water and I said yes and she never brought it and forgot about me, I had to ask for someone to bring me water that was never brought to me. Then when trying to remove my acrylics they tried to get a knife and scrape it off me, why on earth would I come to a salon when I can rip off my nails at home? Then never tells me it's a $10 up charge to soak off. Just awful service from start to finish I don't know why anyone spends their money here, $80 down the drain for an acrylic full set and toe polish. $80 for that??? to not be taken care of nor paid close attention to? terrible. All the while at the end of my service I still have gel on my skin that won't come off. Edit: also forgot to mention he was going to leave my hangnail on my toe unless I didn't say something to him to cut it down or do something about it??? Like wtf? read more

Monday, January 9th, 2023 Came in for basic pedicure $33 which was fine and acrylic refill on nails $30 which was fine. I'm always asked if I want my nails cut down on whatever service I'm having and I always do being I come in on a monthly basis and I've never be charged before. Today, my total should have been $63 but it was $68, I noticed after he charged me and I looked at the price list and said my total was to be $63 not $68, he said he charged me for the cut down of my nails, I said I've always asked if I want my nails cut down and I'm never charged, and he said this time was a "major" cut down that required reshaping of my nails. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE No pre warning it's an additional $5 (I would have declined) Nowhere on new price list does it reflect $5 for cut down fees There should be clear communication about what the customer wants and how much everything will be prior to swiping the credit card. Also, customers don't like being pressured or manipulated into additional services or keeping something on their nails that aren't good for the health of them. Just because regular manicures are less money and all you want people to do is get gel polish, nail design, anything and everything that cost top dollar, please do what the customer wants, even if it's less money and don't try to slip in fees without their prior knowledge. More importantly, have this fee listed on the pricing list as well including to discussing clear pricing before hand. Thank you read more

I asked for a regular pedicure. I scrub my feet better when I bathe, she scrubbed for less than 60 seconds . I literally had to put the arm rest and massage on myself. I felt like asking her , what's the problem don't want to work today? I had to tell her go back and get the dead skin off. I'm not impressed at all. This is a waste of time. read more

I used to go here years ago when I was on yachts. In town for work and figured it was still OK. As bad as a mani/pedi can be imagined. Did my toenails and did not file them. Just quick and sloppy cut. Left burs and points. BUT kept trying to upsell me to clear coat my toes. Really!?!?! Dumbest upsell I've ever heard. Then my finger nails. As bad, maybe worse. Left and had to go next door to PUBLIX and get a nail file to smooth out the jagged toe and fingernails. Pathetic. Could have done better sticking my hand in the garbage disposal. Can't wait for my nails to grow out a week and go get a real manicure and pedicure that isn't terrible. read more

i've been cruising out of Fort Lauderdale now for over 10 years. Each time I come into town I've gotten my nails done at nail port. I've had a few run-ins with issues but nothing serious until now. I had a gentleman do my nails on Saturday, August 31. A gentleman I had never seen in there before did my nails. Several times doing my pedicure I had to correct him. When doing my hands, I asked him several times. If what he was doing was correct he said yes. I got on my cruise Sunday, September 1 by the time we left the port, my nails were already starting to crack. by September 5. they had loosened and started to hurt. Now, home and had the chance to soak them off. I've noticed that one of my nails had been filed down almost to my skin. Looks like I'm gonna need to find a new nail place in Fort Lauderdale when I visit next time. read more

If I could select zero stars I would. I asked for a full set acrylic with gel, the lady did not do ANY preparation to my nails and just slapped on the acrylics without even measuring if the size was correct, proceeded to file in all sorts of directions making one square, one round, and the lengths were completely different on each nail. When I asked her to correct things she kept getting upset so another person took over. He said he would fix them and then made it worse by making the shorter nails even shorter. I told them I asked for long and since the lady already ruined one to make it shorter, they were gonna make all of them shorter!!!!! I was passed on to a THIRD person which also had no idea how to fix the nails and was attempting to file all the way down to start again. I got very upset and asked for a removal of everything and to just leave. I will NEVER recommend such an awful place to anyone!!!! Do NOT waste your money here!!!! read more

Horrible. The nail "tech" cut into my cuticle and it bled out and he kept pouring some liquid in a green bottle to stop the bleeding and it never stopped, then he tried to use alcohol and used acetone to remove the polish after I asked him to remove the entire polish. I left bleeding and horrified that this place exist. I went next door to pharmacy and was told to use peroxide and neosporin on the wound. Also, when I took off the bandaid to show the pharmacist the wound he was grossed out. When I poured peroxide over the wound, the entire opening gushed white foam. As I left he said "I won't charge you for the manicure". And maybe I won't sue you. read more

my sister and I went here between cruises to get new mani and pedis. we showed up right when they opened. they got us right in. That was the only plus. the lady I had didn't speak English but that ok. the guy next to her seemed to be yelling at her to do things the right way. I wanted gel on my toes. after about 10 coats it was determined the curing light wasn't working. ugh. it look over 90 minutes for a pedi. then it was so busy they put the nail remover on my gingers and said 15 minutes. 45 minutes later and me complaining I got my nails done. not well but done. the next day my big toe hurts, it's all red and swollen and difficult to walk on and put on shoes!!!! as they days went on it only got worse. now I'm home and can soak it to remove puss and put antibiotic cream on it. but it appears there is a huge growth of skin next to my nail where she cut it. being a nurse it looks like I'll need a podiatrist to remove the skin growth and kill it so it won't keep growing back and probably need oral antibiotics too. just what I wanted to pay for. never ever go here. the equipment looked dirty too. I paid over $100 for crappy service that took 2 1/2 hours!!!! read more

I went to Nail Port to get a gel manicure and pedicure on Wednesday. On Saturday one nail came off and 5 of the others were chipping. I called the store on Sunday and told them what happened they asked me who did it I said "Freddy" and they told me to come in and get it repaired. Freddy did not apologize and did not seem to care. He quickly repaired the two nails haphazardly. The one that came off completely, came off AGAIN on the following Thursday (mind you they are supposed to last 2 weeks) and another one came off and 4 others were still chipped. In short, it looks like I had them on for 2 weeks. I will NEVER return to this shop again. Horrible! Stay away! read more
