Prior I called like 15 different nail places to find out if they do my type of gel manicure which is gel x. Out of all places that I called only this one assured me that they do. Then same day when I was on my way to the town I called them few times to make sure and confirming that I'm coming to get my nails done . When I came , they took off my nails and then i realized that they lied to me! And they don't have my type of gel x. I had no choice then to do whatever she had. However when I left them and came to the hotel 3 of my nails extensions fall out! I called in shocked and I couldn't believe how poor she did the job ! All dinner I was without my nails. Next morning on Christmas Day I run back and told her Chloe to take them all off! She did took off and refused gave a refund ! I payed for gel extensions which didn't even last an hour ! Absolutely terrible job and service ! Wouldn't recommend anybody! They screwed my holidays and it started with simple lie ! And ended with terrible work and unprofessionalizm! Note: This review is specifically for Paula…read more As I am new to the area, I tried turning to Yelp to assist me in finding a salon that offered Brazilian wax services. Unfortunately, in the Charlestown/Westerly area Yelp hasn't really taken off on anything but restaurants, and even that's debatable. So, I finally stumbled on some older reviews on FourSquare and decided to make an appointment with Paula. Paula is great! She's super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable during a situation which could be considered rather awkward. This wasn't my first Brazilian, however I can see how Paula would be great at helping you feel comfortable and walking you through the process if you are debating getting your first. I was also happy to find out that by rebooking (she suggests every 3 weeks) you're entitled to a reduced rate since it's considered maintenance versus a full on Brazilian. (I do enjoy saving money, however I also know not to go cheapo when it comes to Brazilians. My first experience was horrific, but I guess that's what I get for going to a salon that only charges $29...) I've already booked my next appointment with Paula and highly recommend you do the same!

This did not happen two weeks ago when I came here. Only reason I came here is because I had gift certificates that I had to use up. The person doing my nails put in her EarPods and phone calls to her family or friends, screaming in the different language the entire time. It was definitely not relaxing for me. And on top of that, the gel is under my fingernails some of my skin definitely won't go back, even if I have a gift certificate there disappointing
