This is my mother and sister in law's go to nail salon. I was visiting and decided to go with them. The places in my area only last 1 1/2 weeks. They said their manicures last 3 plus weeks. I got a dip manicure. The lady was quick. The staff was friendly. The shape is ok. A little thick for me. Will update on how long they last. You need an appointment to get your nails done. I was taken early. I was surprised there was no price list anywhere in the store. Update. After 3 weeks my manicure still looked great other the. Grow out. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

I actually had to drop this down to 4 stars. My last two nail fills were AWFUL and the acrylic snapped in a few hours upon leaving the salon. Not only that - they weren't even filled long enough! Also bumpy and uneven and the polish peeled off of the acrylic nail! My boyfriend used to get pedicures and the last two he got his feet were in worse condition as if they didn't even try! We cancelled and won't be going back. Save your money. read more

I have used all the local places... This is the best! They accept all forms of payment but tip in cash (you'd appreciate that as well if you were in their shoes ;-) I found my "girl" and backup guy so always have someone to count on that knows what I expect. They are always courteous and My girl always remembers where we left off in our "life stories"... She is invested in her customers! My gel nailpolishes last at least 3 weeks (unheard of). Very Clean! I finally got the tappered square nails I have always wanted. they look amazing and i deffinetly, 100% recommend this place because even their customer service was great. they were so kind and gave me exactly what I asked for. RUDE nasty unprofessional. NJ department of labor and workers comp needs to look into these clowns. The guy at the front was talking about an African American customer saying things I won't repeat. I actually lived in Beijing for 5 years and am fluent in Mandarin. After waiting for almost an hour and quietly listening to the conversations I learned the technicians are not licensed and are hear illegally probably why they only accept cash. You should of saw there faces when I expressed my displeasure in Chinese. Only my second time there but will definitely not be going back. read more

This place was nice don't get me wrong. nails look good. but 110$ for nails and toes done as outrageous.

I had been going to another nail salon for a long time until coming here with a friend, and now they are my go-to! Wait time is a little long which is just fine since they're swift and efficient. Whatever technician I get they always do a great job with my whacky color and design requests. Everyone is super sweet and actually takes the time to get to know you and remember your face. They don't answer the phone to make a appointment, and when you go in person they can't take you as a walk in . They want you to call and leave a message and they'll get back to you ! Almost impossible to get your Nails done there , are they that great ? Lol read more

It gets pretty busy here fairly quick however you can probably run an errand in between if you time it correctly since you'll have to write your name on a wait list. I got my mani done by a different technician who did my pedicure. Luann did my regular manicure and she was thorough and efficient. Seems like the majority of the clients get gel manicures since they only have two hand dryers. My pedicure came out okay but she did give me a pretty nice foot massage. read more

Very rude people that run/own. They are always crowded so they do not care whether you stay or leave. Very unorganized, having the same woman doing your nails and waxing at the same time! On occasion have had at least 3 people to just compete my nails. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

Although occasionally the experience I have here can be quirky, once after hitting on my sister while putting on her nails, the nail tech randomly tossed nail polish into his own eye and rushed to the eyewash station...and he didn't hit on her anymore after that! Too embarrassed! I've been frustrated there when my tech is doing the nails of 2 clients at once making me feel like everything takes twice as long and just like it's bad service---but generally you can count on leaving here with great looking nails and friendly service, one of the most reliable places in the area. I USED to come here because I loved the polish job and I always brought my toddlers - never running around always in their stroller and they told me I can't come back because my girl was crying and it is disruptive to their customers. I always get good vibes from customers when it came to my children. They mostly got upset because I brought to their attention the DIRTY brush they were using to clean my feet. I feel so uncomfortable with that. They started speaking their language and that's when Sabrina came to me and said "we have to let you go". I'm a little shocked at the service because my daughter stopped crying , and their brushes should be sanitized after every use. The caliber of client is attracted to your shop in correlation to the caliber of consideration and respect you show. Very disappointed at the lack of attention to a health concern . She said to me if you don't think we are clean enough we have to let you go. Never mind the fact that I am the customer. I would never recommend this place to anyone . After years of going here they have gone down hill. Fewer techs. Longer waits. And they lie re wait time. I just entered was told 30 min. Fine. After 45 min they saw me getting upset so they changed my seat. After an hour And being ignored, I walked out. Walmat, Matamoras will get my business now. Love them! Just moved into he neighborhood and had to check them out. They are open on Sundays! A total plus for me. They did a great job on my pedi, did not rush me and after I was done I just sat in the same chair to let them dry. They took their time and did a great job, very affordable. People were nice but they are a rip off. I went with my two daughters for Mothers Day. We got pedicures and medicure. Next morning it chipped off I wasn't even at work or doing anything that will cause it to happen. MY daughter showed me her toes same thing!!!!!!! I called them to let them no, Owner got rude said "well it happens" I have no desire to ever return. I know nail polish doesn't last forever but NEXT morning???? Ask anyone with beautiful nails who did them, and you'll more than likely hear it was Tin. He's the best around. The reason for the low rating is because of their business practices. When I pay cash, I never see my money being rung into the register. Drawer opens for change but no entry made. I try to always pay with cash except sometimes I pay with credit card. Two months ago, I was told they got rid of credit card machine. I was happy I had cash but asked what would happen if someone didn't have cash. They said they now have an ATM. But later I saw a sign saying credit card machine is out of order. When I asked about it, I never got a straight answer and felt I was not told the truth originally. The following week I returned to see that the credit card machine was back and was being used. When it was my turn to pay, the owner started to swipe my card. Sabrina started yelling at the owner saying "NO NO! CASH ONLY. CASH ONLY!" The owner walked away and left me standing there still unpaid. Another person went to pay and because I was there, they had to keep the "lie" going. Owner's wife came to register. Customer handed her her credit card and was also told no credit card. Customer said they should have told her when she arrived because signs say they accept credit cards. Owner's wife kept looking over to me like she didn't know what to do. She told customer about ATM. Customer said she wasn't paying five dollars to get her money. Then she was told to go next door to Shop-Rite to make a purchase and they'll give her cash. Customer refused. So very awkwardly the owner's wife glanced at me and took her card and said "Well, let's see. Maybe it works now". She swiped her card and when it worked I said "Wow, it works now". She said seemingly embarrassed "Yes, it is a miracle". I was very disappointed for I've been going to them for a while and I felt that was no way for them to act. It was shameful. Maybe Sabrina put them in an awkward position. I don't know. But I just know Tin is very good, but their dishonest policy sucks. read more
