I absolutely love Kim! She really knows her stuff! Not only is she good at what she does and want your nails to look fabulous, but most importantly she cares about the health of you and your nails. I thought I'd like this experience way more than I did. What reeled me in was the opportunity to have a more private/personal experience along with being able to make an appointment. Kim was extremely responsive and professional in our message exchange with my questions and setting the appointment. I went in on Valentine's Day. There was no one at the salon front desk so I kinda stood there for a couple of minutes. I decided to walk forward and Kim's room was there on the left, so know that if you go. She doesn't have a spa pedicure chair. There is a rolling leather chair (the fancy office type). I was getting a gel mani and pedi. She uses a Homedics pedicure tub that has these little rollers for the soles of your feet. The public health person in me cringed thinking about how detailed she is in cleaning all of those crevices between customers. She immediately started on my gel manicure. Which was really getting straight into just applying the gel nails. I'm more of a natural nail girl and I look forward to the soak and other perks of getting a massage. I asked about this and she said that gel polish needs dry nails :-/. Um... ok. Maybe this is true (I'm no gel expert), but then it's no fun. So she also tells me what makes her work different from the "Asian nail shops." Ma'am. You don't know me. You don't know where I've been, and the professional approach would have been just saying what YOU do, not specifically talking about Asian businesses. So at this point, I kinda know in my head that this is not the spot for me and I won't be back. When we switch to the pedicure, she rolled me around to face her stool. The pedicure was good, but the setup is kinda awkward. Also, the position of the client chair is underneath the vent, so I was kinda cool. She did a good job on my feet. The massage was nice. So as I'm sitting there I notice there is an air bubble in one of my nails. I asked her to fix it and she said ok. So she files it down and adds more polish over the spot. This left a gradient where you could see the inconsistency in polish. So I asked her would she just take it off and repaint the nail so it would be even. She said nothing and just took my hand and did it. Sheesh. Don't get salty with me. Not for me, not my person. I prefer a real spa chair and more attention to detail and customer experience. Pros: decent pedicure and nice nails after having her re-do one. Also, convenient appointments and easy booking. read more

Where do I start ? Love, Love, Love. Kim is the best I moved back home, from Nashville. I had no idea, finding someone, to do nails would be so difficult. After a few tries in different " nail spas" I found the best of the best. I just thought the Nashville Salon was good. Kim is perfect !!!!! Not only is she sweet, but professional. My acrylic nails never looked so good. I never go & have to wait, for my appointment. She is very attentive to detail. Anything you could possibly think of, Mani or pedi. I enjoy my appointments with Kim. So relaxing, me time. It's been a year now, not one complaint. Kim, is still the best. I consider my self BLESSED!! read more
