I've had several pedicures in my life and this was my first of which at Hahi. I was very happy with my experience and felt like it was one of the best I've had. They did a great job and took their time. I didn't feel like they were in a rush at all. They gave me a nice foot and leg massage which felt amazing and was very relaxing. I felt like they spent extra time massaging my legs since I don't get my nails painted. The place was very clean too! I have been to many different nail salons and this one was probably the poorest experience I have had. Upon walking in, the employees were napping in the recliners and playing on their phones. Then I got the fastest $45 pedicure I have ever paid for. 20 minutes doesnt seem like enough time for that cost. My polish got messed up when I was leaving, so I asked if they could fix it. I waited for several minutes (as the only customer in the store with 3-4 employees sitting around in the back) before the girl shuffled along to help me seeming annoyed to help me. All she did was cake more layers of polish on top of it... after 3 hours of drying time barefoot at home, they still were not dried and already are messed up. They were not honest about having an opening- we asked for 2 pedicures at the same time and we were told there was availability. When we showed up for our appointment we had to wait 15 minutes and then only 1 of us started the pedicure. The other was sitting waiting another 10 minutes. They also charge $45 for a man's pedicure! Yet the process takes the same amount of time as the woman's pedicure. This seems quite discriminatory. Can you imagine a massage place charging more for a man or for a very large woman? It wouldn't happen. They are also not friendly. Nobody even greeted us when we walked in. read more

This is by FAR the best nail salon to get your nails done. I have been to several nail salons in the past and have never received better service than them. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I went today and had a pedicure done. It was great. The lady was very thorough and quick. She got all of the dead skin off. She was really nice she could Tell I just wanted to relax and she just kind of hummed to herself. I will be back for sure. Also another tech gave my daughter a manicure with French tips. They put the least experienced person on my pedicure. Then they start speaking in their language heavily which is inconsiderate. She did a very poor job. She acted like I had never had a pedicure in which I had at another establishment 2 weeks prior who gave poor service as well. However, while waiting on a different race, they go over and beyond. To pay $40+ for less than an hour worth of work. My money is green and will be going some other place that appreciates my business. People who have been in this country all of their lives & work hard don't make $40 an hour. read more

I've been having a hard time finding a nail salon I like in Jackson. They've either been poor quality or taken FAR too long. I go to the gym not far from here and had to find a place after my workout. Luckily I checked Yelp and decided to try them out after I read through their reviews. The place is decorated nice and is very relaxing. I walked-in and only had to wait about 10 minutes to get a pedicure and fill for my nails. The two gentlemen who waited on me were extremely attentive, did great work, and even chatted throughout my visit. It's been over a week now and my nails look almost like they were just done. I would rather wait all Day for great service than to jump right in someone's chair for a disappointing experience .. I walked in, being the second person waiting in line, coming in during a busy time wanting for dip, and was there for 2 hours and 25 minutes if not longer. What annoyed me was there were several people who walked in after me, asked how long the wait was, and were helped before me. They were pedicures. After waiting for two hours, I question the girl who was doing the nails since they were ignoring those waiting for nails to focus on the pedicures and her answer was they all had appointments which was untrue because they were questioning how long the wait was and one girl even wanted to wait for certain person and informed him she would wait as long as needed but were still helped prior to myself and another lady waiting longer than them. In fact the only two ladies with appointments were there longer than any one. And she thought it was funny when one customer walked out after having to wait a long period of time and after being ignored. This was an awful experience. With nail salons on every block, I am sure this is the way you want to talk to customers or treat them. They were telling people the wait was shorter than it was so they would wait around. It was awful. I will never go back and I will not promote them either. The lady who actually did my nails apologized several times and did a great job but I am big in to customer service and lying to customers or laughing at the situation is very unprofessional. read more

I went today and got my nails done, eyebrows done, and toes polish changed. When I went into the shop Thao told me that I couldnt get a basic fullset that I had to get dip or gel. She seemed to just want to charge me more. She put regular clear nail polish over my dip! then did my polish change. She did not take the color completely off of my toes and proceeded to try to paint over it (thinking I wouldnt notice). The worst acrylic nails I've had, EVER!!!! The acrylic nails are not even. The pedicure was even worse!!!! They clipped my toenails in the quick and they are clipped crooked. The polish was smeared and did not cover the nails completely. I will never return there. Do not waste your time or money there. If there was a way to give a negative rating I would! Walked into this place wanting to try somewhere new for my monthly pedicures. Very relaxing environment with friendly staff. I typically go to the same place every time but heard from a friend that this place was awesome. I'm used to having a longer massage and a little more of an experience. It seemed to be rushed and not a lot of time spent on my pedicure. Sure, the polish and work that was done was great, but just not what I'm used to. I just left here because I waited for over an hour to get my nails done and the workers were providing services to people that had arrived there thirty minutes after me. My friend and I got there at the same time and they started her pedicure first as I waited which was fine with me because I thought they would just do our nails at the same time. There were only six people in the salon and six workers and I kept getting looked over. When my friend said something to the worker doing her manicure by this point (yes after I sat around and waited as she got her pedicure) the worker seemed to not be concerned that no one had started my manicure and made these unacceptable excuses. My friend was more accommodating and offered for the person doing her nails to do mine first but by that time I was too disgusted and left. Their attitudes were not the best the entire time either.
