The service felt rushed, like they couldn't wait to get back to scrolling. I specifically asked the tech not to shape or file my big toe, and she did anyway--leaving it uneven. On top of that, my feet started itching immediately after leaving the chair, which has never happened to me at a salon before. Unprofessional, rude, and careless. No where near almond round. I still was very respectful. He said okay can I try on another nail I said yes. He then gave me stiletto. At this point I'm not going to stay and pay for something if my service cannot be fulfilled. So I kindly asked if he could soak the nails off before he proceeded to even paint and get any further. Nail tips were just glued on my nails mind you. He calls the ladies over and they try to ask me if I could let another person try. I said no thank you can I just get the nails removed. The guy doing my nails gets upset and has an attitude. And starts to RIP the nails off my fingers and then CUTS my natural nails down so short and painful. I just sat there, ready to just leave. Once the nails are all in his palm of his hand he tosses them on the counter and shoos me away like I'm an animal and said go somewhere else. I turn and said hey I was never disrespectful to you so don't disrespect me. He continues to tell his employees in an attitude so I turn again and asked if he just doesn't disrespect me. I went in the next day to get my nails redone and I cannot emphasize how great my experience was. Masiel is an absolutely incredible nail tech, taking her time and paying extreme attention to detail. My baby toenail is almost nonexistent and she not only painted it, but French tipped it!!!! My original pedicure wasn't even French tipped, she just offered to do it since I mentioned I'd never had them before! I was astounded. On top of being skilled and knowledgeable, she is funny and friendly. The tech who did my services originally, apologized, and mentioned that she's working with Veronica to make sure whatever happened before, doesn't happen again. I was so touched by how everyone cares so much about their customers and the work they do. My previous review stated I wouldn't give this business any more money, a statement which I now HEAVILY retract.
