Customer service is everything and that can make or break a business. Me and my eleven year old daughter have been coming here for over a year. Normally when we come for pedicures she gets the kid pedicure. Well we when arrive for the latest appointment the age for a kid pedicure is 10. I told the lady she's been getting kid pedicure and the age use to be 12. She said no it hasn't (like I don't know what I day). I told her no it's been the kid price for over a year. Her answer to that was well the techs have been making a mistake. For over a year! If the age changed just say that because 3 weeks ago it hadn't, and we just use whoever is available when we arrive. I have been going to this salon for years. Everyone is friendly and nice. Tiffany does my nails and Lisa does my pedicure. Tiffany does an amazing job on my nails. I am picky...lol and she is very patient with me. We always laugh and talk during my service. Lisa does a great job as well. She takes her time and does not rush. Worst place ever! Will never come back here. I asked for a nail take off, and a manicure. I waited 10 minutes after they sat me down. It was horrible, I asked for her to file my nails down before she got a fake nail and started shoving it under my nail and told her that it hurt if she could file it first and she got really upset and started talking in her language. I only had 4 nails left to take off and she made my experience horrible. She made my nails bleed after she just ripped it off. Her name is Michelle and 0/10 recommend. I had to give it one star. Ive been here several times, but today is the last. They've made mistakes in the past and were sloppy, but I kept coming back. Came in for a pedicure and had several areas of dead skin left that they didn't get. They claimed they did the best they could, but I know that is not true because I've came here before and the guy was able to get all of the dead skin off my heels and toes. They were being lazy and didn't feel it was their job to complete the pedicure in its entirety. I had to tell them twice to make my toes square, yet she kept rounding them ends of my nails. So let me start off saying that I have a love hate relationship with Lily's. There's always something going on that I have to get fixed or something that makes me want to stay away for a while. Well today was no different. I walked in to hardly anyone getting their nails done and EVERYONE getting a pedicure, which is what I was there for. The owner, Lily, assured me that I could get in within 15 min. I asked her if it was more like 30 and she said no, 15. I went to pick my color (they have plenty of gel colors and pedi colors but the colors are very similar) and got seated right after... and THAT'S where they get you! I sat there for more than 30 min watching person after person get done with their pedicures and NOR come to me. Luckily I had papers to grade or I would've gotten up a lot sooner. Finally a man spoke out to see who would be doing my nails. He must've read my 'It's been a long ass day y'all better figure out who doin my pedicure face' because the woman giving a pedicure next to me said she would do mine. Mind you, she started way after the other people. Well her name was Julie and Julie was great. She was personable and kind but Julie could use a few more practice with her stroke game bc that polish was struggling to meet the cuticle of my nails. Honestly the most uncomfortable experience ever. It's my first time going & I decided to treat myself to an exotic pedicure. The man barely rubbed my feet he focused more on talking to everyone else & was instead just fiddling with my ankle not even my heel. :| I let him know I wanted acrylic toes & he was confused at the idea & kept saying "cut short?" Another lady approached us & asked me what I wanted, & I told her acrylic overlay on my big toes to make them square. They discussed between each other for 5 minutes & finally finished my toes. He painted my toes WITHOUT any gloves & was cleaning the nail polish around my toes with HIS NAILS. He didn't even square shape my big toe like I asked either. The people here were very kind, but the skill level at least of the tech I was with is not high. I came in for a removal of a set and a manicure. The service began well, but I was quickly burned by the drill tool. I then asked for her to use another tool, and was soaked in acetone which is fine. All of the acrylic was not removed and she still went back in with the drill. I was then supposed to have a manicure, and got my cuticles trimmed, and my nails buffed and thats it - not moisture, no massage, no nothing. Again, I'm sure my tech was new, but this is not a great salon and not the place to go if you are looking for a great no-polish manicure. read more

They do not soak off your nails to remove your acrylic nails and will use an acrylic nail tip to yank them out from your nail bed. The staff was really nice but my nails feel very fragile after they applied gel polish on my natural nails. read more

My sister got her nails done on a Saturday for a major event in another state and they were crooked and didn't look too hot around the cuticle area. By Wednesday one had already broke, when she went to go get it fixed the lady asked if a man did her nails and she continued as If she knew he's built up a reputation of terrible work. Today is Saturday and we're currently in another establishment in NEW YORK for a special event getting them soaked off because they're THAT BAD and her pinky popped off last night needless to say we didn't have time for this .The lady at a different establishment told us the reason why the nails are breaking is because the guy put a tip on that's too small for her nails which all makes sense because he didn't measure her nail and the tip before putting it on. As a licensed professional I would expect better. My nails aren't amazing either. We both got dip and the area around my cuticles look horrible. A day after I noticed there were cracks in my nails. They weren't drilled properly so you can telll where the tip was placed on my natural nail. None of my nails match in terms of shape and length. Hell, my middle finger is crooked, pinky's don't match, and thumbs are waaaaayyyy off. This is unacceptable we spent $200 in this establishment while the complementary margaritas are good, I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

Lily Nails in Cedar Hill: I went to nail shop on Tuesday to get my nails done (dipped). On Thursday, two of my nails started to chip. This is a result of making dip to thin (in my opinion)... NOTE: the manager is the tech who originally serviced my nails on Tuesday I couldn't go back until today (which is still less than a week since they serviced my nails. I told 3 different techs on 3 different occasions that two of my nails were chipped and need to be done over. They took all of my polish off and gave me a fresh dip service. Then the manager says "$35". I asked, Why am I paying double for your mistake?" Then she says $30 and that is my final offer of discount. I kept refusing but tried to negotiate and pay $20 - $25. She threatened to call the police. I said, "Do what ever you feel that you need to do". So the police arrived (Man and Woman). The police woman thought she could be cocky and I just give in. She only wanted to hear the manager's side of the story. I told her that she need to get my side of the story too. The manager did not do my nails today she did it on Tuesday and messed up. I didn't want to cause a scene and let everyone in he shop know that she made a mistake. I also could have walked out of the salon because my assumption was that I didn't owe anything. Instead, I made eye contact to make sure we had the same understanding. Woman cop kept butting in and telling me that I need to pay what ever they tell me. So I put her in her place and told her that since basically I am still a customer trying to pay my bill, she will not tell me what to do or rush me to take my wallet out of my purse. She kept trying to rush me so I stood there and gave her the look. Also explained to her that I am not breaking any law taking my time to pay my bill. Other than the rushed pedicure, I asked to remove my acrylics. I typically get them off while doing my pedicure, however they took them off after my pedi was done. Which that wasn't the big deal, but they made me wait almost an hour to take off my acrylics. On top of that,they removed my real nail when removing my acrylics... never going back. read more

I had been going to this nail shop for a couple of year but I have been recently experiencing the worst. My first bad experience was my eyebrows. I told the lady just a clean up and I end up with some thin eyebrows. I let that issue go because it was the first time happening. The second experience was when I went to get my eyebrows again and they were busy so I had been waiting for a good hour just to get my eyebrows done. Finally someone came and was rushing to wax them. Lily took over but did not offer a discount or any complimentary services. I still had to pay in full with my eyelid poked and bleeding. I recently went again for a mani, pedi, eyebrow, and lip a good amount of things to get. I show the guy what I want for my nails and design he said he could do it. He makes me choose a dip and I try to look for a very neutral to nude. He kept insisting on a pink color. I said that's not the one and he said no yea it will look good and starts doing my nails. The dip was not what I wanted and then he couldn't do the design. He started with my pinky and polish was all over my pinky skin. He tries to wipe it off CARVING HIS NAIL 5-6 times. I said I'm sorry this is not what I want and you are hurting me. I go to lily (owner) and says to wait 10 mins. I had been there for 3 hours already. I waited an nothing she took for ever. I said I have to go I have been waiting to long and she says to hold on. I get up and told her charge me. She still charges me full amount. She has NO compassion to her customers. I finally thought I'd found "the place." Henry is a great nail tech. Efficient and fast. I called nearly a week out, to schedule an appointment. The lady answered the phone, took my name and number and confirmed the appointment. I arrive 15 minutes early,for my schedule and there is not appointment for me. The receptionist tells me they only use phone numbers and not name for the appointments,yet the only appointment Henry happened to have scheduled was an 11 am with Holly. But yall don't take names, right? I call BS. She then proceeds to tell me, that someone else made the appointment, yadA yada....I'm over it. Trying not to get an attitude but this by far is a tremendous lack of good service, care or efficiency. I wanted to get a pedicure, but after today they will not see one cent from me.
