I had seen quite a few negative reviews for this salon and decided to book a pedicure there anyway, I am so glad I did. MY REVIEW: This shop was wonderful, and I absolutely intend on going back. The work stations were very clean, the techs were very efficient, very thorough and very talented. My tech, Linda, helped recommend colors and even did a little artwork on my toes that looks awesome. The entire pedicure, from the trim to the scrub/leg massage to the final painting was a great experience. I happily give them 5 stars! My observation while in the shop: There were a lot of people being served in the shop and I noticed that those who were there to enjoy themselves, did just that. Yes, we had appointments, yes they were running a little late, so what? Those girls were working as fast as they could and still were treating each client as if they were the only person in there while working on them. There was one lady in particular who came in right at 7 pm without an appointment and from the moment she approached the nice lady at the front desk to the the techs performing the work she talked down to everyone in the shop. I was furious to see how this lady talked down to these techs. She was demanding and rude even though they had worked her and her 2 children in at closing time without an appointment, and the shop had graciously accommodated them. My takeaway is this. You cannot please everyone, and it's the people who are not happy in general who will look for a reason to dislike a business and they are usually the people who take the time to write a review. read more

So I've actually used this place many times in the past. The quality of your nails varies on which tech does then, and you don't get to pick who does it. They are never, EVER, not even once...on time. They very clearly overbook themselves, and my appointment consistently does not start until at least 30-45 minutes after it was scheduled. Today, I went in for a full set. I called and scheduled my appointment, they made it for 4pm. I didn't sit down with them until 4:50pm. While she did my set, I was experiencing a lot of pain. She was very rough with my nails, and even took a chunk out of my pink with the dremel tool. Then kept putting product on it, which burned like ooooooh you wouldn't believe. The. The she got the cuticle with dremel tool on my left ring finger and while it didn't bleed, it hurts like a bitch. After all was said and done, my nails are uneven, lumpy and bumpy and so sore. And there's nail polish like, everywhere... ha... What really sucks (and I blame myself for this) is that this is the third time this has happened here. I gave too many chances, and now I'm just done. This is too much. Also, the prices on the wall are not accurate. It has posted $35 for a full set with Gel. I would give this business 0 If I could. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It took 15 minutes for anyone to even ask what I was there for, and I was there for a scheduled appointment I had made two days prior. Then after I was asked what I needed after the 15 minutes the lady said nothing else. So I left and I refuse to support that business or give them any hard money that I earn for any service they offer . read more

I was a walk in so it took a while to sit down but it was all worth it. It costed 78$. I do feel a little overcharged but they just came out so nicely. My sister in law just got her nails painted (French tips) and it looked beautiful as well. read more

I would give this business zero stars if I could. We made an appointment for 3 people for a mani/pedi with a 4 hour notice. 2 were for children. My grandson had to use the restroom and the nail salon wouldn't let him use the restroom there. He's 7 so he can't go by himself. They told me they would not give away his spot, so I took him to the restroom. When I returned, I found out they gave our appointment away to the next people who came in. So, basically, he lost his spot. 2 hours later the only thing done was my pedicure. Seriously the WORST PLACE EVER!! Even with an appointment they did not honor an appointment time or value customer service. Never go here!! Even if you're desperate, it's not worth it. They'll do you wrong. This is my fourth year coming back to Nails Connection. I love having Tina do my nails she is an excellent design stylist And when you're in your chair in front of her you are the only client in the room. I was excited to finally be able to go get my nails done for the first time in a couple years. The ladies here are super nice but don't seem to put the time in to making their first time customers want to come back. The color looks great but not when close to what I asked for (attached are the photo I showed them and my end result). My poor experience started with the acrylics. They aren't shaped correctly for the apex of your nail where you need the most support, and they're not consistent at the cuticle. some are thick and look like they're about to lift. The underside of my nails is a mess even after she used a cuticle bit under them to clean them up. They were in such a hurry to get me in and out that there's polish missing on the sides of my nails and the glitter isn't down to the edge of where the polish even stops. There are places where the gel polish pooled at the sides of my nails and cuticles, so it's attached to my skin now. For $50 I expected more. Just not a pleasant experience and I won't be back. read more

I opted for the deluxe pedicure and manicure package. The place was small and over crowded. The pedicure tech was so aggressive my legs are very bruised. Before I was even done it was apparent they overbooked as the manicurist came to the pedi chair and attempted to start my mani. I had to stretch my right hand over to the left side of the chair VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The pedicurist dropped the polish getting on my white pants . I didn't notice until I got home and of course he didn't say anything . The manicurist was as speedy as she could be. Seemed upset she even had to do my manicure. Her next client was sitting next to me watching TV. With tip , this awful experience cost me $87.00 and cost them a good customer. After the response I am adding this... thank you for responding . The bruise your referring to is not a bruise at all but broken capillaries . I now have several actual bruises. The paint on my pants is the exact color of my nails from when you dropped the bottle and had to go clean it up . I don't own anything even near that color. Worst pedicure ever. My appt was at 2 final got in chair at 2:35 then just sat and waited for someone to help me . Water was luke warm and no one turned massage chair on. making an appointment here is almost useless because you will end up waiting 30+ minutes AFTER your appointment time due to walk in people being ahead of you. our appointment was at 4:30 and we didn't get seated in a chair until 5ish. i come here specifically to get a pedicure because they usually do sucha good job. this time was horrid and it made me so sad. besides dropping the gel light directly on my foot several times and smearing the polish everywhere, not getting finished til 6pm, and her putting the wrong color on my toes, super great experience lol. read more

I'm not one for bad reviews, but this is the worst place ever! They refused to fix my nails that were not even. Plus I said I wanted a glitter free gel nail polish and while I was getting a pedicure and my nails done at the same time (which I don't like) I look over and there was glitter in the polish. I asked them to fix it considering I said over 5 times I didn't want glitter I just wanted navy blue coffin nails and they refused. So I made them go over it with a darker color. The pedicures are also not worth talking about. I tried this place 3 times and each visit is more depressing. Never coming back. I rather drive to Salem or Eugene. read more

First time I went, I told them I was looking for a new nail tech, that I would be in every 2-3 weeks - indefinitely. My second visit, I had an appointment and had to wait 15 minutes due to her taking a walk in customer. The 3rd time I went I had an appointment and waited 45 minutes, she took walk ins and pushed me back, I have a full time job and do not have time to wait which is why I make appointments. When I told her to forget it, that my appointment was for 45 minutes earlier and that I had something else to do, she acted like she had no idea why I left! This place is a dark hole in the wall with personnel that are just as gloomy!... I had an appt for mani and peti. I was greeted with 'can I help you' and when I stated who I was she just grunted. Someone could have put me in a chair with my feet soaking during the time I waited 20 mins. This didn't happen, but a walk in was taken to one of the empty chairs instead. They were very nice, I can in only a little over a half hour before close and they did my nails with a good attitude. She did cut my cuticles twice but beauty can be painful. And you really can't beat the price, 25 full set. We will see how long that last though,seem sturdy. read more

Came in to get my gel manicure today. They had a very good selection of colors. The staff were very friendly and did a beautiful job.

Very awkward environment. I am used to engaging in conversation with the mani/pedicurist but this place makes it "weird" to do so. All the workers do is talk to each other in a different language (NOTHING wrong with that) but they make it obvious they are talking about the customers. I like to tip and tip big. But the lack of customer service here made me believe they did not deserve it. It's a small place that gets filled quickly but they rush and don't take time (for nails that I pay for) and instead do a rushed job. I also paid $35 for French tip acrylic nails, when the guy on the phone said it would be $25. My guess is she realized I wasn't going to tip and tipped herself. When it came time to pay I just wanted to leave and not argue over price. I will say the young man Tommy was the only accommodating one that made me feel somewhat welcomed. 'No, I usually sit with foil on my fingers to get it off' "You soak off, ok you come 10:30..need more time" 'Ok, you do the dipping powder, no fake nails, right?' I want to Make sure we are all on the same page. "Yes I do the powder" Skip to next morning: I drive the 40 minutes- this area is all remote to get there. A man greeted me and set me down in front of the lady from yesterday. Turns out it is his mom, and she said "full set" again to me, in front of him. I said 'no, we went over this yesterday afternoon, I do the dipping powder" she said "you want fill?" 'No' I said, "this all comes off and I get the dipping powder" "oh, I don't do that, you need to go somewhere else" she was so mean about it, no apology for wasting my time. She repeats, "You need go somewhere else" "but you said you did this yesterday." Some other, big, obnoxious customer lady says 'oh my god' I told her to mind her own business and that she wouldn't appreciate it if someone wasted Her time like that. That nail lady enjoyed her mean spiritness. Her eyes were laughing at me. I didn't deserve that treatment. I left very frustrated and upset that people are mean like that in the world.
