Wonderful experience! My first visit since relocating to Newark. Two different nail techs for mani and pedi, both were kind, communicative and did an excellent job. The salon itself is spotless, pedi chairs very comfy, was offered a beverage. They ask about what services you need, may make a suggestion and explained why, but not pushy at all. So I'll start by saying the good I typically get my nails done by a tech named Tracy in this salon. I have NEVER had a problem with Tracy's work. Today she was busy with another client.. so I opted to go to the other female tech idk her name but she's Colombian or something (not that ethnicity matters) but this was BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN A SALON EVER. This lady took forever doing a basic refill complaining the entire time about the previous designs on my nails. Saying she will never do that on her clients. while doing my nails she cut me multiple times. My cuticles are VERY sensitive. Due to how long she took on my nails & I absolutely did not have all night I told the tech that I would return another time to get my nails colored and etc. This woman kept pestering me for a time when I would come back. I told her I will come back when I have all day or something. So she tried to charge me $50.00 for this piece of crap refill, uneven shape, and NO POLISH. FIFTY FREAKING DOLLARS. 50. I refused to pay. The owner then tried to charge me 30 dollars freaking 30. How ridiculous!!! So I told him I'm only paying the price on his board 15 for a refill and 3 for a cut down. He charged me 3 more dollars apparently for the shape. Like what?!? My nails were already COFFIN SHAPED only 4 nails needed to be reshaped. (I'll add the pics) Honestly I would only recommend Tracy or the owner of the shop as techs. But watch your pockets they will try to charge you for little things. I went for coffin shape French ombré. This is what I got. They were nice and all but I would never allow nails like this to walk out of my salon. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner. They use tips and do absolutely no cuticle care they slap oil on at the end. Complete waste of money. read more

I got a dip powder manicure and a gel polish pedicure. I made an appointment a week in advance. Showed up for my appointment and still had to wait. Even during COVID they were still taking walk ins. No plastic shields no 6 feet between customers. They did NOT adhere to ANY of the regulations they should have been. The nail tech I had was sweating like a pig and rushing. No massage for pedicure. No cuticle cut just basically polish and lotion. My dip powder was AWFUL looked like bubbles on my fingernails. Half my one thumb was not painted. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. This was my first time going to this nail salon, so I called prior to getting my nails done. They had a deal for a manicure and pedicure to be $20 or $25. When I got there, I waited about 10-20 mins, not too bad. Service wasn't the friendlies, there was little conversation. I told them what I wanted and they said they could do it. I ended up getting French Tip which unknowingly made the price go up (it shouldnt have been by that much!) I wasnt told until i asked the price at the very end. Not to mention the white tip wasn't evenly sized the same on all my nails... I didn't complain only because I was ready to go and ended up paying $75 for a set that barely lasted a week on my finger nails. It chipped very quickly. My toes lasted though. read more

This is my go to place for nails, but today I had a real bad experience with PAUL(older guy).Asked for neutral ombré and he made it brownish , by telling me that it would look as picture shown by me after finishing.it turned out to be dark brown and I dint like it, Tam(owner) came and told its not going to turn out as in picture. I don't know what Paul thought of but he told he was done with me. He had bad attitude and was super rude to me. He ruined my nails and then Tam finally fixed it up with a pink neutral color.DO NOT GO FOR PAUL!!! read more

First time customer. First impression was how clean the place was. I was impressed by that. I had an appointment for 11:00. I was seated almost right away. Awful . We scheduled in advance but place was crowded and still had to wait a half hour. The woman doing my pedicure was not friendly (Tina), and did the bare minimum . She didn't even ask me what type of pedicure I wanted she just assumed I wanted the most expensive one . She tried to demand I get an eyebrow wax and insinuates my eyebrows are crooked . ( I just got them micrbladed by a professional and they look incredible) I ended up paying 65$ for a horrible pedicure . It just looked bad and unprofessional and she didn't even trim my toenails .... which is upsetting (I didn't realize til later) I honestly felt they were making fun of me and my friend (who tips very well by the way). It's really a shame, because me and my besties are looking for a regular salon, and we always tip well, and we are just really polite .
