My nails were uneven, couldn't tell if my nails were real or not-they are. He was also really rough. Won't be going back.

I really wanted to love this place but I just can't. I went in for a manicure and pedicure and I left with the most botch job I've ever seen. I can't even go somewhere else to have them fixed because my nails were clipped so short they have to grow. My toe nails are completely unevenly trimmed and shaped something awful, my gel polish on my finger nails started chipping off the same day! When they were doing my finger nails the guy got polish on my skin and tried to clip my skin off rather than just removing it properly. I can not believe this place is still open to be honest by far the worst service I've ever received. read more

The nail tech who did my nails was very friendly and gave me the price of my service up front. Unfortunately, the quality was very below standard. Now I am stuck looking for a new salon to fix the problem. I asked for solar full set, but the shape of the nails are extremely wide. I hope they can be salvaged, but if not I will have them removed. She was told they could do it and they even grabbed the right colors. When she got them done they were very dark and blocked instead of ombré. My mother and I have gone here twice for pedicures and the first time was okay, though a little rushed. They started hers way before mine, so I had to wait almost 30 minutes until someone could work on me (even though we made an appointment), and she had to sit for 30 mins after hers was done so she could wait for me to be finished. The wax and hot towels burned my skin, and the nail technician didn't know what I was asking for when I told him I wanted faded glitter, but he was able to do it after I showed pics. The second time we went, we made a pedicure appointment for 2:30, and when we walked in, all the chairs were full. We were ignored for about 3 minutes until someone asked what we needed. Told them we had a 2:30 appointment for pedis and they said they weren't ready yet and to pick out nail color. We picked out our colors and still had to wait 20-25 minutes until two chairs opened up, even though we had appointments!!! So we finally sit down and my nail tech starts the appointment, but no one starts on my mother yet, she had to wait. I was burned again by the wax and hot towels, and bruised by the massage. I told the nail technician that the massage was too hard but she kept going. They also didn't really scrub our feet well during the appointment, so we left feeling as if nothing were done, and with a lot of callouses still. Nail technician put my sandals on afterward and messed up my polish, but had already moved on to the next person, so she couldn't fix it. Definitely not worth $72 for two unenjoyable pedis. Terrible experience. Had 4pm pedicures booked for my daughter and I. We weren't greeted until 4:15. They then put us in chairs and tried to convince me to get a shorter service than what I had originally booked because they were clearly behind. I have never been so disappointed in a Mani/Pedi as I am today. The young man who did the pedicure was good and thorough. He carefully painted on three coats of a thin polish. When we got to the manicure he seemed to be more unfamiliar with this and I needed to work at clarifying what I needed and how he should trim and shape the nails. He tried to correct things as I pointed them out, like rough edges, or uneven heights. After he painted the first nail, a woman asked him to stop and took over from him, hurriedly putting down the first coat, then sloppily putting down the second coat and a drying coat (?). She then took me to a back corner of the shop and had me put my hands under a light. She said I needed to wait 15 minutes. After much longer then 15 minutes I got someone's attention and she said I could go. My nails were still soft. When I got outside I noticed how poorly the second coat was. It wasn't close to edges, or in many places covering the first coat. There were pock marks on some nails.I returned and the receptionist said she would get someone to fix it. I had now been there 2 hours and could not stay so she tried by adding a coat to a few of the worst nails. I had already paid and left a 20% tip before the woman had taken over the job from the young man. I am VERY unhappy with the crummy treatment I got on my manicure. read more

I have been coming here for two years and have always gotten A+ service. Today I made and appointment and upon arrival I was told that the manicurist left early( with no call or cancel text) and that I would have to wait an hour and 20mins to be seen. I was treated with a very rude Demeanor, As if I was in the wrong. For the same prices and even better service I decided to end my relationship with nails now and branched off to nail uncorked. Best decision I ever made. Just sad because Torri does really great work but management / customer service here, sucks. read more

The only plus to this visit was my nails did get filled....Vickie sat down and looked at my nails and said "Your nails look old, You need a new set". I smiled and told her I wanted a fill or a back fill...I was here to fix my nails...".no, your nails look old...."I insisted on just a back fill....she was obviously irritated and the first nail she filed so far down it was crazy burning....smiled sweetly and said "oh, that hurts?" After that it got better until she smacked my hand at least twice and told me to relax! Seriously??? And then, if it couldn't get worse...she pops up with..." is this your first time here?"...I said yes.....her response was" and you didn't make an appointment?" Wow! Where do I even start with this place? I went in and got a solar gel set ($45) but it was an extra $5 for the shape I get (stiletto) which the girl had never heard of and I had to show her a picture. The results were ok, not the best but they gave me some free little gems on them. I got the mood changing gel and when she layed it down I noticed the color wasnt the same as the test nail from which I had picked the shade. Also no big deal, so I thought...about 2 weeks go by and then I accidentally broke two nails getting out of the shower some how. So, I go back to get them fixed and its a different girl. She doesnt know which shade out 3 that look the same but are obviously incorrectly labeled or mixed together. So the 2 "new" nails were totally different colors (and I hated them) from the rest of the set. I thought okay, ill cut her some slack its not her fault theyre mixed up. But then she talked me into having a fill (even though I didn't really need it at all) and she layed yet another different color for the fill!!! So my nails had 3 different colors on them, none of which I wanted. I was pretty displeased but I still tipped her. This time it cost me $35 for that. Not even a day later, the two repaired nails broke again and then another nail as well. I went back to them to see if I could get them fixed and it was the same girl from the second time. She told me she could fix them, but it was clear my nails were waaaay to thin and damaged from already having nails ripped off a few days ago, I was unsure of how that would work. So she just abrubtly snipped off the remaining lengths of my stiletto nails and said that if she fixed them and made them square and short they wouldnt break WITH OUT EVEN ASKING ME! I was so pissed off I wanted to cry. I just asked her to remove the whole set and I left. I dont do square nails. Also, really pushy about trying to sell gel nails. Took my sister here for a pedicure and they asked her 3 times if she wanted gel and she said no very clearly the first 2. Then, the nail tech hurt her during the pedicure. I really wanted to like this place and I spent over $180 including 2 pedicures just in the last 2 weeks there and I feel like every cent could have been spent at a better salon. My nails look and feel so horrible I had to go buy nail strengthener & vitamins. My nails are SO DAMAGED I can't even get another set to fix them. I've been coming here for a long time and have always really liked the results. They are fast and there is a lot of gel color choices. On Thursday night I came with my daughter to get gel polish. There was a new lady that did my nails and she took forever and shredded my cuticles while filing. On Friday night my nails started peeling off, this is unusual since usually after 3 weeks I still can't pry off. So I'm back to get these fixed. I'm here on Saturday morning right when they are suppose to open but there is no one here. It's 10:06 and they are now coming in. Can't wait to see how this turns out...great news...they redid them with no charge or other issues. I would give 5 stars but I did have to go back so 4 it is. read more

I went and got my nails done and as she was doing them I noticed she was using the wrong size tip and I told her that it didn't even fit my nail and she said she would fix it never got fixed she didn't even cover my nail fully in acrylic. When she put the polish on she didn't even post the sides of my nails so you can still see my real nail and the acrylic nails there's bubbles in the polish the paint is very sloppy my nails are all crooked they're supposed to be coffin shaped and half of them aren't even coffin shaped. I pointed all of these out as it was happening and she still did nothing about it. I went back the next day to have them fixed all she did was put polish over the mess ups making it look even worse I told her I still was not happy and I wanted a refund and they refuse to give me my money. My wife and daughters when in to get their nails done for their thirteenth birthday. It was suppose to be a fun mom daughter day starting with nails. The quality of the work was terrible. To be honest it looks like the girls painted their own nails. There was more paint on the nail beds then on the nails themself. My wives nails look like they painted half of them with a clear coat and the other half not. The experience was terrible, the lady didn't even interact with my daughters and finished her nails super quick. Nothing like a crapy service and crapy experience, to introduce your daughter to a spa day. We would not have been nearly as disappointed in the $100 dollars we spent if the quality of the manicure would have been decent, but that was not the case both sucked. I called to speak to them about the experience. They did invite them back, to "fix the mistakes", we were headed out of town and didn't have time to come in. I asked about a refund and they said "we don't do refunds". Please do yourself a favor, don't waste your money. I would say don't waste your time, but they don't waste much of that as their model is clearly quantity over quality. Don't go! Buy a bottle of opi and paint your own nails. read more

Horrible! I was a walk in and got my gel mani- peti right away. the people were nice but very hard to understand. the quality is poor. After only two days my nails are chipping and lifting! Gel nails are suppose to last. You can see the uneven layers of paint and deep brush strokes. I also have black speckling in my white tips. I had a horrible acrylic set done here a few years ago that lifted after a few days, the other place that i went to have them fixed, told me it was one of the worst jobs they had seen. I decided to go back this time thinking that it was a simple gel paint job and that they shouldn't be able to mess it up. WRONG! I will not let them touch my nails again. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot leave a good review. I can say that the gentleman who works here was so determined to make things right that I give him high praises. While visiting family in Eugene, I took my son's partner to get her first pedicure. They sat us down together & the pedicure began. The woman who started my pedicure was rough and started scrubbing my feet with a stone so hard she scrubbed 2 open sores on the top of my foot. When I showed her she said the sores were from my shoes. We moved on to massage. Again, this woman was ROUGH! But wait, there's more...The polish applied was not any better. The woman obviously was in a very big hurry to leave. As soon as she had applied a top coat of polish she literally grabbed her purse and left. I was very disappointed in the service AND the pedicure but grateful it was me and not my son's partner. She was nervous hers was going to be the same. Luckily her pedicure was as it should be. The gentleman was apologetic to me and offered repeatedly to repolish my toes. The polish was a mess. No thanks. I will wait and fix it myself. If you choose to go here, request the gentleman for your pedicure. I will not return to this nail salon nor will I ever recommend it. I really like Nails Now because first and foremost, they are very clean! I have never gotten a fungus or anything from them and I think that should be the #1 thing on anyone's list. They have new chairs for pedicures and they use liners each time. They are accommodating as to how you want your pedi massage (soft, hard, etc.). Your manicures the same. I have never gotten cut from my cuticles where in other places I have and I have gotten a fungus in other places but never at Nails Now. At Nails Now yes if you walk in and you have an appointment, you might have to wait a minute or two but that means it's because they are super busy not because they are being rude. Ask them what times they are not so busy and you don't have to wait at all. They always greet you, ask if you want a water etc. They are very nice and if you a returning customer even more so. I have gone to this place several times to get my nails done, and generally have never had a problem. The ladies that have done my nails have always been very very sweet. I went in today and an older man did my nails. I am a very quiet person, and generally do not talk a while lot when I am getting my nails done. He if I was married pointing to the ring on my hand, he asked what I was doing later then asked me to drinks and then stated he would "do me until midnight". I NEVER SHOWED ANY INTEREST AT ALL nor gave him any sign that I was interested whatshoever. This is very very very inappropriate and I will NOT go back there again read more

My sister and I were walk-ins for manicures, they were very busy but said it would be 15 minutes. It took 25 but we had killed time at a store nearby so it didn't seem bad. We had to go one at a time but they had an extra chair so my sis and I could still chat. The nail tech we both had (Holly, I think) was great. My recent experience with Nails Now was HORRIBLE. I had a gel pedicure, that night after my bath, the gel polish lifted on several toes. I returned to the salon to have my toenails re-polished and no one wanted to help me. Finally the manager agreed to repaint my toenails. The same thing happened again. The gel polish literally just lifted off my nail. I returned to the salon for the second time. The manager was not available. The nail tech in charge told me that I would have to pay if I wanted my toenails to be repainted with gel polish. The nail tech in charge said that she would be willing to repaint my toenails with regular polish but that she would not guarantee her work and if it came off I would need to pay to have them repainted. I get my toenails painted every 4 weeks with gel polish and have never had a problem. I told the nail tech that I paid for a gel polish manicure and did not want regular polish because it did not last. The nail tech refused to re-polish my toenails with gel polish. The nail tech re-polished my nails with regular polish. She did a terrible job. The polish was so thick that even after setting there for 30 minutes my toes were still wet. I left barefoot because I did not have toe less shoes on. (I was expecting gel polish) I was not offered thongs. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that she was out for two days and that I could call back and speak with her. I called twice and left a message but never got a call back. This is the worst customer service I have EVER seen, and I WORK IN RETAIL! I waited 40 minutes for an appointment. The girl, Vicky, did not speak English, I couldn't understand what she had said through her facemask. Within 30 seconds of being in her chair she told me that she was tired of me! I told her to "have a great day" and she replied with a rude comment, followed by moving her arms and telling me to "LEAVE! LEAVE!" I was appalled at the service. As I was leaving, the other girls were telling her to be nice, but she was still yelling at me. Something was not right about that lady, thank God I was not stuck with her for more than those 30 seconds. I would not recommend ANYONE to go there and receive service. I went in yesterday for an eyebrow wax with my friend who had called ahead and made an appointment for myself and her to get a gel manicure. We sat for 20 minutes while all of the technicians were working on people. A lady walked in and took her coat off and ordered my friend to sit and soak her nails and she told me go with her to the back room. She then told me "today was my day off but they called me into work." I then had to sit in an upright office chair and was told just to tip my head back. She didn't ask me how I wanted my eyebrows waxed or anything. She took the scolding hot wax and it dripped under my eye onto my cheek. Then she slapped the wax on my eyebrows without taking any kind of shape into consideration and then took a wax strip the entire length of my eye and put it on under my eyebrows then just ripped it off without holding my skin in the opposite direction. She waxed my eyebrows so skinny and unlike what I wanted and my right eyebrow is shorter than my left one. My eyebrows and eyelids are hot pink and burnt and still sensitive. The worst spa/salon/esthetic experience I have ever had. If you value quality personal service do not go here. read more

I am highly irritated. I have come here a few times and had an okay experience, but the last experience I had at this salon was horrible. I don't pay a lot of money to get my nails done just to leave feeling disappointed. I paid 81 dollars to get a gel polish mani and pedi done for my birthday and prom. I had to get it done a few days early because I work and go to school, I don't have a lot of time. I got gel polish because it is supposed to last, but not even five days later my finger and toe polish has already started to chip away and one of jewels on my thumb has come off (I try to take really good care of my nails). 81 dollars down the drain. I am also highly disappointed with the customer service I revived this time. The lady who started off doing my nails DID NOT LISTEN TO A THING THAT I WANTED. She kept answering her phone and making phone calls while working on my nails. I wouldn't mind that as much if that calls were business related, but they weren't. She was way to rough with my nails as well (to the point were it hurt), and she left in the middle of doing my nails for about a half hour because she had other things to attend. I felt that was very rude, but I was glad I got a different lady who actually listened to what I wanted (she just didn't do a good job). Bottom line I am so disappointed, I don't think I'll be coming back after this experience, and I definitely won't be recommending to anyone. read more

I went to Nails Now a few days ago with my friend and to be short, it was horrible. My friend made an appointment for both of us and when we got there we stood for at least ten minutes before someone asked if they could help us. The workers do not seem to value customer service. When my friend made the appointment she asked how much it would cost to get gel and the lady told her $25, but when we got there we were told it was $35. So we decided to just get regular nail polish because they were $25, but had to wait another 15 or so minutes before we got started. I asked them to just trim and even out my nails before putting the polish on, but the first thing the lady does is cut my nails down as far as she can. They do this to my friend as well, and then they started putting on fake nails. This is not what we wanted and my friend decided to just get her nails polished, while I tried to be nice and let the lady continue putting on the fake nails even though I didn't ask for it. This is when I noticed how dirty everything was. Not only was the table covered in other peoples nails, but the workers were reusing the tools without washing between each customer. I wouldn't doubt if my fingers got infected after this. There was more miscommunication between the lady and I and whenever I didn't understand her, she would roll her eyes. Before she put the color coat on, she and one of her co workers tried to push me into paying early, and when I said that I would pay after, they both rolled their eyes. When I was finally done I was told that it would cost $26 and when I asked why it was not $25, the lady said it was because of the $1 nail kit. I said I didn't need it yet she persisted several times until she finally gave up. My friend's nails turned out even worse than mine. Hers were cut down to the nail beds and look horrible. I will not be coming back to this place any time soon and will discourage others from going as well. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. My mother, some friends and I attempted to get manicure and pedicures. We called and made an appointment for 5:00. We showed up and saw they were packed so we tried to bide our time until they were ready for us. Unfortunately for us, they double booked. They offered to put 3 of us together and one of us by ourself-- we have a little one with us and since it was already 5:20, we were also told if we wanted to stay together it'd be 15 minutes before all four of us could sit together. When the time came, another customer took the seat and when we politely said it was for us, she told us the seat was promised too her. At this point I'm starting to get upset; but the real kicker is they then proceeded too ignore us for another 15 minutes! Not one word of apology, no offers of anything they can do for us. I work in customer service, we are there to please the customer! Especially when there's been a miscommunication. It wasn't until I said we no longer needed their services did they pay attention to us. I'm reading other comments on here and I'm glad they completely lied too us and ignored us. I will NEVER recommend going there nor will I ever go back!!! read more
