My nails would always fall off, break etc. I started going to Katie almost a year ago and she is AMAZING!! My nails stay on and feel good. I was always hesitant to get designs because they never turned out quite right. Katie does a beautiful job. She takes her time, never rushes and they're picture perfect every time. If I could give a zero stars, I would because you are on here raving about this pedicure that you're receiving so I went there to get a pedicure so I could have one like yours and my foot was dipping in the water for about 20 seconds pulled out some oil was put on it it was Rubbed around my foot was put back in the water pulled back out. My nails were sanded and I had to clip my own nails with a para nail clippers because they wouldn't do it then they decided that she wanted to charge me three dollars for a kid size water. I don't know where y'all are getting your pedicures done at but this place is not it and all of you that are raving about this place you're full of shit cause let me tell you where I come from. I get greeted with my last name Then setting a chair that's heated and massaged or in the winter in the summertime. It's cool and massaged then I can have a margarita a shot of Jack a shot of crown and Coke or a Long Island iced tea or sex on the beach or moonshine or tea or soda or water and as many as I want For no cost for free it is included in the pedicure then she lied to me to get me to come down there said that she had colored acrylic. She has a bunch of shitty acrylic colors that nobody wants I mean seriously if I wanted to look high, I just go and get some of my husband's old clothes and put them on my nails. This place is shitty. They can't get out and grow toenails. They can't do your nails and I don't know that I got this little earpiece that tells me everything they're saying and they talk shit about the customers every single one of them, especially the black ones. read more

My pedicure was incredible. I've lived in Eugene for 10 years and been to several nail salons and the person I had for my pedicure was by far the best. The time she took in everything and her massaging - just the best! I almost fell asleep and was incredibly relaxed the entire time. I took 2 of my sisters and my mother that has cancer here. We made an appointment as my mom couldn't sit there and wait for them to have time. They got us right in at our appointment time. There were 2 employees in totally working that day. There was a gentleman that did our pedicures and a lady that did our nails. We all got in and done within about 1 1/2 hours and were all very pleased with their work. They were fun and talkative making the overall experience really fun. The prices were reasonable and comparable to other nail salons. The place was clean. We would definitely come back here if we are In town again and want our nails done. Just a side note, while we were there numerous people came in and the employees told them they would have to come back later because they were busy for the next 1 1/2 hours. My normal experience in nail salons is that they tell you yeah we have time pick out your color and then you sit and wait for 45 minutes. This place used to be known as Perfect Nails, Now they've remodeled and rebranded. They are the most lovely people to do nails and other services. I come here with my mother and grandma for a once a month treatment. They have yet to fail us when making our needs come first. Katie, Hoang, and Lee have treated us for a while now and I have to say I've never felt more taken care of. My grandma has harsh nails and sensitive skin and lee took such good care of her. I hadn't cut mine in a while and it was looking harsh and Hoang fixed me up! Kids and adult pedis are same price at $35. My 8 yr old toes were chipping off the same day. Their debit/credit machine wasn't working either and had me go to winco to get cash out. This was suppose to be a nice thing for my daughter and I since we are dealing with some really emotional family illness. It was close to our house and we went out to have our mind off things. Obviously it was very annoying and not very good work on my daughters toes. They also do not use tub liners in the foot basin. read more

SUMMARY: I LOVED my experience here. It was referred to me by a friend who visits Jenny for her nails regularly. I read the other reviews on here, but I just simply don't agree. The service was attentive, prompt and Jenny does a fabulous job with nails. First of all it is close to the place I stay when I am in town. I went to get an acrylic nail fill because I am up visiting my parents in Eugene. A bit of background: I am from San Diego and I did my own acrylic nails for 10 years before going to a professional salon. I am EXTREMELY picky about how my nails are done and making sure they are done right so they don't lift. I do NOT use tips and so I require forms etc when a nail is broken. As anyone who has nails know, different climates affect nails and going from warm SoCal to cold winter in Eugene is not so good for them.. but this experience was fabulous. I did not have any broken nails this time but it had been 3 weeks since my last set and I was starting to feel the loosening of the nails and the pain associated. Jenny, the owner, was awesome. When I called she was a bit curt or not talkative rather but I really didn't care. She was still friendly enough and professional so again I didn't mind. I don't need a companion I need a good nail technician. I asked if she had availability and she asked if I could come in right away. I said that i could and so I went to the salon within 15 minutes. When I arrived she confirmed I had just called and then immediately began to help me. The location had nice music playing and was very clean and bright. I went mid day on a Friday and there was no wait and no line and only two technicians so the place was open and very accepting. Jenny looked at my nails first and immediately began working on them. Within just a few minutes of small nice talk we began to actually talk and I heard her story of coming to Eugene, OR and she was extremely friendly. Chatting with her was much easier than i expected after the inital phone conversation. She confirmed how short I wanted my nails and I watched with a hawk eye as she used an electric drummel (normally something I am hesitant letting them use on my nails). I sincerely mean it when I say that she was in the top 2 people I have EVER seen using a drummel on nails. She maintained conversation easily here while efficiently working on my nails. She noticed that I had gel on top of the acrylic and automatically did this again with my having to ask her to do so. I could not see the fill lines and my nails feel perfect. The price was $5 cheaper than what I pay for a fill in California and extremely reasonable when compared to other places. I would definitely recommend Jenny at this location for any nail work you need done. NOTE: My mother also had a pedicure and while the other technician was good as well I would recommend Jenny for all of the work you need done. read more

I've been getting my nails done at other places for years, and I've had a lot of problems with my acrylic nails falling off in between fills. I don't do manual labor, I don't soak my nails, I don't do anything out of the ordinary. The only thing I can think of is the other, larger, more popular stores are cutting corners and skimping when they fill my nails so that they can charge an extra $5 when they repair them later. When I go to Jenny I notice the difference. She takes the time to file down all the places that have worn almost through and refill them, not just put more acrylic on top of the thin places. I'm not a very talkative person, so she doesn't talk to me very much during my fill. But you know what? She does a fantastic job. I leave happy every time knowing that my nails are going to stay on through the 1-3 weeks I'm going to push it until I come back for another fill. She charges a comparable rate to those larger stores, and does better work. I will go to her every time over them. I'm a receptionist and I get compliments on my nails all the time. But they never talked to me about what I wanted, spent the entire time on their cell phone not paying attention to me, and THREE times took a walk in right before me when I had an appointment and made me wait 45 minutes! This woman charged me $206.00 before any tip I was going to leave. I called ahead of time for a quote to make sure I had enough money and she quoted me $45 for a manicure pedicure for one person. I called to attempt to make a Sunday appointment. I knew it was a long shot, but I had a broken nail and a party later in the day. This was an emergency! To my delight, Jenny told me to be there at 10 am and she'd get me fixed up. Upon arrival, I realized that the salon wasn't open on Sunday. Jenny came in just because I sounded like I really needed my nails done. This salon isn't fancy or pretentious. I think it's just run by Jenny and her husband (I could be wrong), but I will continue to get my nails done there because Jenny is a great nail tech, she doesn't try to cut corners or overcharge you, she does my nails the way I want them done and she's a genuinely nice person. I have been to several nail salons around town and though most of them provide good, fast service, I find that the really popular ones tend to cut corners. They use less product, rush through filing and make you feel less than an important customer. Jenny at perfect nails does not do this. She has a good work ethic and she gives you what you pay for. read more

After spending thousands of dollars on salon services over the years I choose to go to Jenny for any of my nail services. She by far does THE best job of anyone in town in a comparable price range. She is fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable about what she does. My aunt went here and she came to me in tears. The man who did her nails was pleasant and did a good job, but his wife was incredibly rude and just downright mean. She refused to wax my aunt's eyebrows and raised her voice in front of other customers, she said "Don't have time, too busy!" Waxing eyebrows takes roughly under five minutes for a professional. Let me start out by saying I have been to Jenny several times. I went in for a fill this afternoon and my daughter went in for a full set. When I left my nails left my nails look awful. They are wide and not fully polished. My daughter got a full set which the smile line on her white tips are crooked and not blended correctly. She had to refile and buff them when we got home. Jenny and her husband spent more time talking to each other then they did to us. This will be the last time I go to perfect nails. Was the worst $75 I have ever spent. I have to say I feel bad for giving one star but my experience was horrible. I went in for a pedicure, and was put with the man working. I had gel toe nail polish from a previous pedicure and as he was taking it off he severely pinches/cut my pinky toe!! This was just when he was taking my polish off! I have never had to scream OUCH during a pedicure, as the pedicure went on it only got worse!! He was SO rough it was almost unbearable! While he was scrubbing my feet he scrubbed the middle of my foot where you have no callus it was extremely painful, I felt like the scrubbing left my feet with cuts I was almost expecting to see blood on the white towel. All in all this was the worst pedicure and nail experience I have ever had, and I have been getting my nails done all over town for years.
