Service was fast, the ladies were very helpful and helped me pick a yellow because I was looking for a certain type of yellow. very attentive to detail, almost perfect application and neatness, only issue I can see is my nails aren't as almond as I would have wanted but it's okay I can file them. Mimi was wonderful! I had worked all day and was very tired when I arrived. She helped me select nail polish colors and gave me a fantastic manicure. The gel polish, combined with the manicure, makes my nails look so healthy and nice. The gentleman who did my pedicure also did an amazing job. Not only do my feet look great, but he massaged my legs so well that it completely relaxed my whole body. Went in for a full set. I showed a picture of short almond natural looking nails with ombré white and light pink. I had to ask several times for them to be shorter, the man got acrylic all over my hands and cut me several times. The shape was not well executed and the color they gave me was peach and they kept telling me I was moving my hands to much to do ombré. I left crying because they looked so gods awful and spent an hour washing the acrylic off my skin and reshaping/ cutting the nails down. I should have known better when I sat down and his entire station was covered in dust including his tools. read more

As a walk in, I was welcomed and needed to wait about a half hour...not a big deal. The basic service of mani/pedi I received was awesome! Tim and Doris were wonderfully attentive and although there was a language challenge with Tim I knew he was paying attention at every moment and making sure I was at ease. Doris and I had a lovely conversation as well as exact what I was looking for in mani/pedi which is, at best an occasional experience for me. I have been going to Kevin and Kelly's nail salons since 2005, back when they were located at the College Mall. Their new location at 2460 S. Walnut Street in Bloomington Indiana is so much nicer. They have a HUGE selection of nail colors. They have taken great care of me and stayed past closing time on several occasions to do my nails the way I wanted them. They are so kind and accommodating to my cancer sensitivity's. They do a FABULOUS job and make you feel at home. I give them a five stars, only because they don't have a higher star rating option. I gave it a 1 only because there is no 0. I was there today and dealt with Kim. I received a gel mani and pedi. The pedi was lousy at best there was no elbow grease no effort no engaging conversation very cold and impersonal. These people are new management just so you know. I asked where the old management went and she totally LIED saying she didn't know where there were as to keep their clients . she totally botched my nails and gave me straight attitude when I called her on it. I cancelled the service I went in for after the crap show we went through about my nails and she totally EXPECTED that I was going to pay for that lousy service. I called on Friday to make an appointment for either Saturday or Monday since they are closed on Sunday. She says they're fully booked for Saturday but they have availability for Monday, I ask if I can make an appointment and she says "call back Monday". I've been here twice and both times the owner, Nancy, was incredibly rude to me. God help you if you don't like the color or want to change something or take a second to see if you like the work. She will berate you, demand you make a decision if you like it or not by repeatedly going "YES OR NO", and then if you ask for something to be done differently she will call you picky. So yeah, I love spending my money and self-care time only to get yelled at. I was the bigger person and tipped over 20% both times but never again will I be back. This is the best place I've had a pedicure in Bloomington. (been to the mall and a place in the strip mall by McCalisters) They didn't rush and gave a great foot massage. It took about 45 minutes which is awesome. We were the last customers of the day too and they didn't try to rush us out. They were both very nice and friendly and funny. Definitely will be back!
