I wouldn't recommend Pro Nail Spa based on my experience. As soon as we walked in, it felt like they were rushing us through everything. The staff was impatient and didn't make us feel welcome at all. My friend finished a little before me and simply asked if she could sit by me while I was finishing up--they told her no, which felt unnecessarily rude. She didn't like her nail color and got it redone, which should've been fine, but then they tried to give me the color she just got rid of so they didn't have to wait on the one she actually wanted to dry. We were getting matching flowers in opposite colors, so it didn't even make sense. The whole appointment felt rushed and uncomfortable. You could tell they didn't want to be there or do their job. Definitely won't be coming back. (And the flowers sucked, how do you mess up 5 dots? On two different people?) read more

If it were possible to leave a no star review I would. I should have walked out the door when the salon bathroom was filthy, but, my manicurist was out of the country and I was headed to a conference unexpectedly. I get the dip nails, love them; they last forever and I get compliments out the wazoo when Joan does them. These were done Saturday morning. The first nail broke Sunday and by this afternoon, Wednesday, four days later, three more have shattered. It's on me for not stopping the guy when he dipped my nail in the powder jar. This such a hygiene issue and potential hotbed of infection. I didn't because I needed to get out of town. I've been at a flippin conference and have four broken nails, FOUR. I went in to get my nails done and the girl that was doing my nails charged us $40 I told her coffin and I wanted them colored before I payed. when she was doing my nails they where square when I went back to get them fixed they where closed but I was not wearing these thick square nails so I went back she fixed them to the best of her abilities. They are crooked, lumpy and not fitted to my nails probably. I will be going back tomorrow to a refund and going to get them taken off and redone somewhere else. Worst attempt at a manicure I have ever experienced. I had booked a mani/pedi but left without either. First, the manicurist rushed me while I was picking out a color. The place was empty and I had only been looking at colors for 2 minutes. Mildly annoying, but not a game changer. Secondly, I asked him not to use the drill on my bare nails, but he did it anyway, saying no when I asked him to stop. I don't like the drill because it makes my nails too thin and brittle. Instead I prefer cuticle pushing/clipping and buffing. I should have called it quits right then and there, but I didn't because I'm about to have a baby and wanted to get my nails done so they look nice in pictures with my newborn. So I decided to try to stick it out. The manicurist then put on the base coat of gel polish, cured it under the lamp, then immediately he started taking it off - using the drill on every nail for a second time to remove it. I asked what the problem was and he said it was because I had put sunscreen on my hands before the manicure. He was right. I had indeed put on sunscreen as soon as I sat down in the chair. I did it right in front of the manicurist because I thought that was ok to do - I have done it before and never had an issue, and he didn't say anything to me about it today when I did it. I apologized, said I didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that, I asked why they hadn't asked me to wash my hands, as he saw me put on the sunscreen - I had no idea it was an issue, and it was a problem they should have said something and I would have washed my hands right away. The manicurist didn't answer, he just shook his head at me. Anyway, when he went to cure the base coat (before taking the drill to my nails a second time) my nail beds stung so badly when he put them under the UV light because he had shaved them down so much with the drill the first time he used it. I have never experienced stinging to that extreme before under a UV curing lamp. Lastly, he cut my cuticle and I started bleeding. I didn't realize until after he had drilled my nails a second time and I went to wash my hands before gathering up my stuff and calling it quits. I'm heavily pregnant - due any day now - and now I'm very worried that I'll get an infection from the cut. The cut was the last straw and I decided to leave. So now I'm left with bits and pieces of clear base coat on thin, shaved down nail beds instead of a pretty manicure that will look nice in photos with my newborn. I'll need to find another place to fix this mess, assuming I don't go into labor first. To top it off, they asked for $20. They did file my nails, so I thought it was appropriate to at least compensate them for that. I used $20 of a $100 gift certificate I had for the place but I will most certainly not be coming back to redeem the last $80. I don't think the manicurist cared - the place already has the money, after all. I strongly recommend avoiding this place like the plague. read more

The woman who did my mani/pedi was rude when I shared my shaping preferences. She barely spoke & would just push my hands or feet around impatiently rather than letting me know what she wanted me to do. She rushed through painting my toes & left behind several areas of polish on the skin around my toenails without bothering to clean it off. She was also rough & in such a hurry during my manicure that she caused instances of pain & actually made one of my fingers bleed with an electric tool she used. She saw the blood but did not apologize or even acknowledge that she had caused an injury. She just acted as if I were a complete inconvenience to her the entire time. I went to get my nails done for A pedicure and gel nails for my wedding....the woman that did my pedicure wiped off the pink color I chose telling me it did nothing for me, and I need to pick another color. She then gave my daughter a pedicure, and as she began painting she told her she picked a prettier color for her than the one she picked. We also had dipped polish on our nails that needed taken off for new polish that they didn't even begin to take off until we had been there for an hour. When I first walked in I was behind 2 or three other women but one of the manicurist asked what I wanted and I told her a gel fill in. I only waited about 20 minutes and before I got to her station she kept me updated on when she would be ready for me, which was really nice because usually I just wait and have no idea who is in front of me. She took her time on filing my nails down and made sure the gel was even on every nail. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of pricing. On the list it says a gel fill in is $20-23. I was charged $30 for a basic gel fill in. I didn't have to have any repairs done to nails, she just had to paint them so I'm not sure why she charged me $7 extra. Overall she did a great job but I'm not sure I'll ever be back because it seems a little sketchy she was charging whatever she felt like. read more

absolutely horrible my daughter and I went in for a 930 appointment and we waited forever and then she got a regular nail polish that at which was completely chipped off within a day, my full set is coming off within three days she was charged for a nail design which she did not get Aunt when given a two dollar tip on my card I later noticed that that was changed to a $10 tip when I asked about a refund because I was overcharged not once but twice and both of our nail sets were completely horrible I was told no refunds and nowhere does it say posted no refunds. they were completely rude. we will never be going back read more

I had planned a spa day with my daughter for her wedding, my daughter in law and two granddaughters. What I thought would be a relaxing day of pampering turned out to be a nightmare. I give them that it was Saturday but the way my daughter and granddaughter were trea is absolutely not acceptable. I was questioning why my deluxe regular pedicure didn't include base coat and top coat. But when my daughter texted me that the lady doing her pedicure TOLD her the color she had picked out did nothing for her and told her she needed to pick another color?! WTH! Where does she get off telling her customer what color she needs to pick! And then they left my granddaughter sitting in the back room alone soaking in cold water. The same lady told her she picked out a better color because the one my granddaughter picked out wasn't a good color. This was not the day I had envisioned for our special spa day. Not to mention that none of us were satisfied with our outcone. I spent over two hundred dollars for this experience and I'm probably going some else this week to get a better outcome for my daughters wedding next weekend! Money and time wasted! read more

I'm consistently disappointed with this nail salon. My tech didn't speak a lick of English, she was rough on my hands and by the time she was done "prepping" them, several of my fingers were bleeding. As far as service goes I got a simple two color manicure, I could have done it myself. The paint was almost completely chipped off after just two days. I've been to pro nails several times and each time the service and quality of work gets worse. I will not go back. My friend got a full set and almost every nail had some flaw. Hands down the best manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I love that they had prewrapped tools for everyone so I knew they Were cleaned. The man I had, danny, was funny and talkative by not too much he's great. I also have very ingrown toenails and he was very attentive to the pain it caused me. I recently visited ProNails. It wasn't my first visit as I had been previously for pedicures which were always okay, not the greatest, but at least decent. This visit I went with my daughter, she got a mani/pedi and I got a manicure. Worst manicure ever. It took all of 15 minutes for my manicure. The "massage" was the technician rubbing lotion on my hands and then telling me to wash my hands. My daughter had a decent pedicure but she asked for a design on one of her fingernails and it was TERRIBLE. I mean, if you don't do designs, just tell us. This was for prom and she was quite disappointed. This was my last visit. I am sure I can find somewhere better, if not as conveniently located. read more

I told her to just clean them up and she totally reconstructed my eyebrows and ended up talking half my eyebrows off! I have never had a worse experience in my life at a salon! My sister-in-law and I have been going to Pro Nail for 4 months maybe slightly longer. I had been to two or three other nail salons before and every time I walked out my nails were thick and ugly or they would chip away within days. There was always something wrong or they didn't listen to what I asked them to do. I see Kim at Pro Nail now and every single time she does exactly what I asked her to do. She makes my nails look beautiful. My sister in law's nails also look beautiful and we have different styles.
