Very disappointed with this place. I had an appt for lip flip plus a complimentary facial. It was my first time at this location and I took a wrong turn and I got lost. I called them saying I would be a few min late. When I arrived at 2:16 after finding parking and having a hard time finding the building. They declined me for my facial saying they had a 15 min grace period. I asked them please if there was any way because I'm going for my honeymoon and I really need a facial and they said no. I get a policy is a policy but I thought it was very unprofessional to decline me the service by ONE minute. I then "got in early" for my Botox appt. And my injector was very nice and knowledgeable. I had a pleasant experience with her but the other employees were just rude. After declining my service, I watched the employees huddled in the break room gossiping. I went to NakedMD for a jaw/masseter neurotoxin consultation and had a great experience. Alayna and Kaylee were both incredibly helpful and patient. They took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything clearly. They also took time to palpate my masseter muscle and evaluate it. I ended up getting both a Nefertiti lift and masseter neurotoxin since I tend to clench my jaw pretty hard and occasionally get migraines. I came to this clinic for PRP, mid-cheek filler, and under-eye Botox. At my initial visit, PRP was performed 1st and I experienced significant swelling after and asked if the swelling from PRP would affect the accuracy of the other treatments, but I was reassured it wouldn't. After about 2 weeks, once everything settled, I noticed clear mid-cheek asymmetry and uneven results under my eyes. I returned for a follow-up and explained my concerns in detail, including showing photos. I was told another PRP might help, so I added it during my microneedling session. After another couple of weeks, there was no improvement in the asymmetry. At my next follow-up, instead of addressing the filler imbalance, additional Botox was recommended and injected, even though I questioned whether Botox was appropriate for a structural issue. Now, a few days later, I'm experiencing reduced muscle function in one eye, and my original concern is still unresolved. Overall, I felt my concerns were not fully listened to, and the treatment approach did not match the issue I came in to correct. read more

Went here because I knew two people who went to the La Jolla branch specifically and had a syringe done and loved it and their lips still looked great two years later, the biggest thing however was how naked md constantly promoted natural results and had so many photos of their results on their website. I went in and the first girl who comes to consult asks me what i'm looking for. I show her a photo of me with lip plumper versus my natural lips. My lips in my inspo photo look the EXACT same but with just a bit more height and some of those natural lip wrinkles filled in. I have more of a small/pouty mouth so I asked for half a syringe because from what i've seen in videos the full looked like a bit much. The girl pushed for a full saying I wouldn't see much of a difference with a half, and I said "even with the small difference I showed in the photos?" and she kept insisting and said "they're the same price for a half syringe anyways". I said Okay but when the nurse came in to do the filler, I made sure to show her the same photos and emphasize that I didn't want to look overdone and i want to keep my natural lip shape and that if she feels that I don't need the full syringe i'm okay with her stopping. After two weeks, which is basically what your final lips will look like, I felt my lips were still HUGE and the shape of the top lip was different than my natural lip, also I know I had a bit of a double lip line before the filler, but after the filler I had a crazy filler stache as well. I went back in to the La Jolla location right at the two week mark and a different nurse came and when i showed her my concerns she said "If i were the one doing your lips I would have told you that with M shape lips you're never able to keep that shape" I asked to dissolve and she advised me that it would go down over the next few months and that I could go to a Sauna to metabolize it faster...but from what I had been told from multiple other drs I work with (I work in the medical field as well but some drs i work with also do aesthetics on the side) is that in the sauna, filler will just heat up enough to become malleable and then migrate, not metabolize. I found that the training and what i'm hearing from so many different workers is inconsistent and unreliable. Luckily, the next morning I called up the Eastlake location and explained everything and they fit me in that same day in the afternoon. The manager had listened to my concerns, and quickly agreed that she would dissolve it for no charge. The girls at that location were also more understanding and would listen to what I say versus the La Jolla location who just kept on trying to convince me to stick with it knowing I wasn't happy. The photos of me in the gray sweater is my natural lips, the one with the lip plumping gloss was my inspo photo. My smiling photo and the black sweater is what the final 2 Week result was. The lips were obviously way too big and popping out of my face and they made my teeth look big too. I'm glad the workers at the Eastlake location helped me out but I am disappointed in the fact that i'm now out $400 read more

Naked MD credited me for the failed treatment. My under-eyes are still not back to normal, but they are improving after taking the oral steroids prescribed by the plastic surgeon at Naked MD. Overall, Naked MD did try to help and find a solution to the issue. Personally, I would still not get any further fillers done there. I felt comfortable talking about what I could afford with her and she did her best in insuring I was picking the right product. I love the transparency and the steps to achieve my end goals. Daddar is the best. I went in for lip filler and I was so nervous. She talked me through it and I even followed up with her twice after the injection. I got the online special for forehead tox and the free facial. The facial was nice and relaxing, but I hate how they tried to push you to buy the products they used RIGHT AFTER the facial. Also, this appointment was in December, it's been since then that I got the forehead tox and I would not recommend getting it done here. What in the actual hell? It's 9:40 at night and I'm on Yelp looking for places to get my lip filler and I come across naked MD in La Jolla. I read some reviews and I've seen enough to want to definitely at least get a consultation. If not book an appointment to get my lips done, so I call the number listed here, so I can leave a message and hopefully someone will call me back tomorrow, but instead, some strange lady answers. I can hear children in the background, possibly a television, and just a bunch of loud random noises, and she says that they close at seven! At this point, I'm just so confused and wondering why she's answering the phone then? It was the strangest, shadiest phone call ever lol Most businesses don't answer the phone at almost 10 o'clock at night. Especially when they've been closed for hours. This was just weird. read more

This was my second time getting filler, (first time was a year and a half ago). Nick was my injector, he used almost 1 full syringe of restalyne kysse. I already had some projection and definition from my old filler, though it had almost all metabolized after a year, I wanted a touch up. I came in wanting a half syringe, but he told me for the result i'm wanting he reccomended to do about 80% of the syringe. I asked to keep my natural lip shape, defined cupid's bow, don't make it any pointier but make it look plump still. Also to keep the natural trapezoid like shape of my bottom lip, but give a pout. I am a bit of a hypochondriac sometimes, so I was a definitely nervous to go to such a new place with a new injector, but he eased my concerns and the staff was so friendly to me they happily answered all my questions & concerns :) The pain was pretty bad tho probably 6/10. It definitely sucked having the syringe in, the first time I had them done I felt literally not a single thing... I think they could have left the numbing on a little longer, or done it a second time because It hurrrrtttt. The first time I had it done was with a long-time professional celebrity injector in Newport beach, she's famous for her work. I had no pain, little to no swelling, barely any bruising. ~1.5 yr ago This time, I had a TOONNNN of swelling, i'm only posting the pic to help you guys not freak out when you get it done and have swelling lol bc the pic is bad!!! It went down after day 2 tho and I started liking the shape. Overall it's ok since it was cheap i guess you get what you pay for- a new injector with less experience. Maybe I am just blinded because of my first experience setting the bar high. Personally, I wouldn't go back again tho. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend either. It's more so if you decide to come here for a good price is just say eh not crazy about it but your choice. I do want to say it is a professional & aesthetic environment, I felt luxury while being there & the staff was friendly. Procedure was done safely & they were sure to take every safety precaution necessary, and answered all my questions/gave instruction for healing & advice. However, i'd rather pay a little more to go somewhere with more experience and expertise, my lips are migrated now. (could be partial due to getting almost an entire syringe over the top of another syringe ~1.5 yrs ago- but I had quite a lot of space in my lips for it and don't really think that's the reason) but there's definitely migration and you can see the filler out of the vermillion border. After a horrible first experience, I was contacted by the company manager who was very apologetic and was eager to make my experience a better one. I sat on it for a few weeks whether or not it was something worth my time. It was a huge risk to take but it seemed like they were really eager to prove excellent customer service. I'll start off by saying I was SO excited for this appointment. I've been wanting my lips done for at least 10 years and finally decided to treat myself. Booking was easy. Everyone working there seemed pretty friendly which helped ease some of the nerves. I had signed up for the 1ml first time deal and the nurse began to explain that the product they use for that is thick and tends to last less than other brands. I explained that I really wanted them to last as long as possible and they said if I paid $300 more I could get a better, thinner product that lasts 9-12 months... one month later and my lips literally look like nothing ever happened. After speaking with a guest at my bar, who works at SDbotox, I'm finding out the material injected into my lips isn't even FDA approved for your lips and its intended use is actually for your cheeks. I'm so seriously sad that I now have to get this dissolved just to get actual lip filler and spend twice what I was intending to just to be back at square one. If I would have known this was going to be my experience, I would have just gone to someone with a little more knowledge and transparency with their clients. Please do better, NakedMD. read more

Had such a great experience here. All the ladies working was super amazing and helped me decide on what procedures I needed. I originally was coming in for botox and was asking about fillers on my jawline, instead of trying to take my money and just have me pay for something I didn't need, the ladies gave me advice on what jawline fillers would do versus trying out masseter botox. I was hesitant at first but they were very educational and really helpful so I ended up getting the masseter botox which is botox on my jawline instead of fillers which would have made my face look wider which was the opposite of what I was looking for. My goal was to have a slimmer face and to look contoured all the time. With forehead Botox I am usually really hesitant because most of the time the doctors go too low which drops my eyebrows and I end up looking sad all the time lol. But Christina was sooooo amazing and did a fantastic job! My forehead wrinkles went away and my eyebrows were even lifted. It's been a month now and I'm still fascinated with how everything turned out. Watching her inject the botox was different too. Instead of going straight into my skin, she pinched my eyebrows and went in at an angle which really shocked me. From the customer service to the treatment procedures, my visit was amazing.
