Being a vegetarian, my review is limited. Was sceptical after reading reviews as I have a good palate for Indian food and always crave for it. One of the truly amazing things about food is not only the diversity, but those unexpected times when you find truly amazing third party cuisine. Best Turkish kebab I've ever had? Australia. Best sushi? Colorado, and while Namaste India wasn't the best Indian food I've ever had, it was truly excellent. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Well, yes, there was one drawback, but it's honestly not something I can necessarily hold against Namaste India. On the particular Saturday that I walked through NI's doors during a long stay in Warsaw, it was a relatively warm 80* F+. Hot? Not necessarily, but considering Namaste India doesn't have air conditioning, sitting inside was nearly unbearable, and without any room outside, I really didn't have a choice. Outside of that however, service was fast and friendly. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Admittedly, I threw a bit of a fit when I saw the prices for everything I ordered. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? As I mentioned, while this wasn't the best Indian I've ever had, my Chicken Vindaloo was very, very good with only a few exceptions - Bread: Alright, so the garlic naan was weak. Too thin, inconsistently seasoned, and lacking the light and fluffy but moist element that really makes naan worth it Rice: The rice? It was okay. Cooked well, but pretty standard Chicken Vindaloo: Alas, this is where the meal shined. Moist chicken, fiery but flavorful sauce, and a consistency that mixed brilliantly with the rice and naan. Excellent. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Again, not the best Indian I've had in the world, but without question the best in the city of Warsaw. Stopped here for lunch after a visit to the National Museum. Another excellent choice. The menu is very extensive with vegetarian and meat options. Most dishes are around 20-25. For two people I would suggest three dishes. Interior of the restaurant is very classy and a great place for conversation. Quality of the food was high and we were happy with everything we ordered. I love this place. The food is really good. ALSO, they have a small store where I get spices for the days I feel like cooking at home. You can also get hair/body products, coconut oil/milk, and many other things. Furthermore, THEY DELIVER. I would say it is *probably* close to authentic because of the number of Indian expats that hang out there! I am just taking a swing in the dark... but every time I go there is at least one Indian expat eating there. They will cater food to your tastes - if you like spicy... they will make it spicy. If you prefer mild, they will make it mild. I always get the Murgh Rahara -- it is very good (not the best in Warsaw, but it is really good). My fiance always gets Chicken Masala -- he loves it because they make it spicy for him. We also get garlic naan and vegetarian pulao -- both are cooked to delicious perfection. Also we have gotten Lasi Sweet and Salty, Mango Lassi and Banana Lasi - we didn't like any of them... We especially disliked the Lasi Sweet and Salty... however, I think this has much more to do with the fact we don't like Lasi. Everything is worth a shot and I would recommend at least trying. Their chai tea is really excellent though. My most recent experience I had the strawberry milkshake and that was YUMMY. I devoured it. I think I also love this place because of the service... it is half self-serve since you must order at the counter and then they bring it to you. I really like the guy working the counter; his English is excellent and he is so helpful. He and the waitress are just super nice people. Really good place! My family went for dinner, and all the dishes we had were delicious. We ordered three different breads, three main dishes, and a bottle of wine. It was $70 total, which is an incredible price for that much food. The waitress was very good. She was attentive and helpful, and she spoke English, which we really appreciated. All the food was flavorful and it was served hot. Great experience! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some Indian food in Warsaw. read more

Lot of places to sit and easy to find. Definitely a place for Indians to hang out. The food itself was ok. The first plate I got was dirty and the water glass had a small fly in it. The staff speaks Polish/English. Chicken Tikka was awesome while the Abu Ghabi sucked (not flavored correctly at all). Rice also a bit on the dry side. At $12 for that its seriously over-priced for an Indian joint. Especially in Warsaw. read more

Excellent Indian food, but you do need to ask for it to be spicy as it has bit toned down for Polish tastes I assume. Very casual and definitely not the most romantic restaurant, go there for excellent food at a very reasonable price. Recommended 1 read more

Nice little place in city center. Ordered the chicken madras and naan. Food is tasty and my dish waspicy as promised by waitress. Service was average. Longer than average wait times, mechanical services ( people don't smile anymore ?? !! Next time I'll send my drone to pick up food from here instead of a real restaurant experience ) . But considering this was walking distance from centrum, I'd recommend this place for the taste, price and quantity. read more

Delicious Indian food. The portions are large and I had enough for lunch the next day. Vegetables were fresh. The broccoli Tikka was excellent and unlike anything I ever tasted. Would definitely recommend eating here. The service was great, very friendly and kind. read more
