What a great place I think this is my favourite Indian restaurant in manchester. The service was a little slow last time I visited but the food made up for that. All of the food was amazing especially the lamb and chickpea. They gave us a few 20% off vouchers so will definitely be back very soon.

Really quite impressed. I'll admit that I have no idea what courses we ordered because we gave that task to on of my friends in the small group - a regular. Food: Very tasty. The 'dumpling' starter (C- something) was fantastic. Very interesting popadoms with lime pickle by default :) Main courses were very nicely done and (just for information) the single rice portion was big enough for everybody. Prices:very reasonable; two of use were driving so mostly soft drinks but it was still only £21/head including the tip. Parking: Can be tricky - I was tipped off and parked a little way down lapwing lane. It's possible to park in the Metropolitan pub - but there are lots of 'clamping' threats (no idea how enforced these are so it might be safe to have a drink there first). I would definitely return.

I tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago while out in Didsbury. The food itself was nice, I ordered a chicken pasanda which was lovely and creamy. I ate with four other people who each ordered different curries to one another. I was a bit perplexed that they all came out different shades of orange though?! Possibly the same base used for all. The tables are very small (not very wide) so it's a bit of a crush once they bring the hot plates out to pop the curries on. Also a coup!e of the waiters English was very poor so ordering/asking a question was sometimes difficult but non the less the staff were polite and smiley. This curry house was fairly priced too I would go again if I was on Burton Road and fancied a curry, but with the choice of excellent restaurants on this road I think there were others I would prefer to go to first. This isn't a negative review though as I did enjoy my food.

I think I have now found my favourite curry house in Manchester with Nemaste Nepal. It was that good I has to go twice in one week, however, the service on the second time was a little slow due to them being exceptionally busy which was excused for the quality of the food we was served up. The mixed sizzler starter is very good value and served 4 of us as a starter which makes it great value as well. The lamb and chickepea curry is my favourite of what I tried. If you're not into spice then mention it to them as a lot of the dishes do pack a punch. If you're in the mood for a curry then definitely make an effort to visit here.

There are few places that I absolutely have to visit when I'm in England and this is one of them!!!…read more England isn't known for great service but this place always has the best! They take reservations and your table will be ready. The food is outstanding. I'm taking my daughter to England this weekend (we are from Florida) and this is literally on our agenda the weekend we get in. The food is so flavorful and delicious. It's best to go with a lot of people so you can try a bit of everything! We loved everything we tried but the chicken tikka masala with the sweet naan with the honey is the best! We can't wait to have dinner there!!!

I've walked past this Indian restaurant many times but had never been in until my FIL's bday a few…read moreweeks ago. From the outside it looks like any other Indian place and once you get inside it's again pretty standard. The difference is the menu and the quality of the food. I had a really excellent fish pakora to start and then one of the chef's specials as a main. The naan bread (the make or break element of a curry for me) was perfect so I was very happy. It was really busy and people were being turned away on a Thursday evening which is always a sign of good food. As a result I'd recommend booking a table in advance. You can get the metrolink to Altrincham then a taxi down to Hale or the train goes all the way there. This place really stands out from some of the samey average/poor curry houses in south Manchester.
