Do not go here!!!!! This place was a nightmare first they ordered the wrong liner size for my pool. When the install guy was there he notice it. I then had to drive back to namco to drop it off. After they got the correct liner size the install guy who was great outside company installed it when I was on vacation he's sent me a picture of my pool and it was not the liner I ordered I called namco and they basically told me I had to deal with it cause the sales person put the order in wrong and if I wanted the correct one I would have to pay for it all over again. After I had a company install a pool, I purchased from Namco I couldn't believe how disappointed I was in the quality. The wall is so thin it got damaged during installation just by moving with care to install. The sides pushed out during water fill. The top got dented just from leaning on. This pool was a replacement for a pool I had for 20 plus years and the pool I had was 100% better quality. I called customer service to complain and told them that I wanted to return and sent pictures of the wavy sides. I don't even feel safe swimming in this pool because I'm afraid the pool will collapse. I got absolutely negative replies telling me their pools are high quality and that I must of installed it incorrectly. Even the installer commented on how cheaply made this pool is. I got nowhere with management or customer service for Lynne Cillo in CT So I will be taking this pool down which cost me over 6500 and bring it to the junk yard where it belongs and buy a new pool at the end of this season Don't ever shop at Namco, even their pool supplies have doubled in price. They also have the lowest prices and best deals out of all the pool companies I've contacted. Namco knew I was on the fence about buying a new pool because of the installation cost. My wife and I just moved to Salem, NH, and the house (our first!) has an above ground pool. Our move was at the end of pool season, and we had NO idea what to do. At Namco we found Andrew, and he is wonderful. He spent all the time my wife and I needed to understand (1) general pool maintenance, and (2) the proper closing materials and methods to close our pool. When it was finally installed, it was installed with a hole in the liner, after MULTIPLE phone calls with cooperate, customer service etc, we were told the liner would be replaced this spring no charge. I just want to start my saying Andrew and Shawn from the Salem ,Nh are awesome. They helped me even though I ordered my pool online May 30th. I reached out to them when the number to call with questions on my receipt was never available . They have you wait on the phone just to get to a. Mailbox that is always full. Corporate on the other hand is useless. Customer service totally useless. I was contacted once through this whole nightmare by Mark, he assured me he was going to call me back. Never heard from Mark.At this point it was two months without any communication other than Shawn and Mark in Salem this has been the most frustrating experience. May I suggest NEVER ordering anything from Namco on line because if there is an issue , I can assure you that they will not be able to be reached. I left numerous messages explaining my missing pool. NEVER got a call. I was told at one point that my pool went to the wrong house. When I tell you that I lost my cool, that's an understatement. Still dealing with the managers at Salem Namco, we tracked down the pool . It took two and a half months but we picked up the pool Saturday Aug 15. Namco has the worst customer service for the warranty department ever. I have been trying to use my warranty on my spa which is only a year old. The outside shell is bubbling up. I called the store and they had me email photos to them and after that I never gilt a response. That was about a month ago. I emailed the store again asking for an update no response. I called the warranty department on 2 different occasions for a status update and both tines they said they would respond to me in 48 hours. Neither time did I get a call back. I sent over 3 thousand dollars on a hot tub that hasn't even held up a year. It has a 7 year warranty and it will take me 7 years just to get a call back!!! Worst money I've ever spent. Bought over a year ago still not installed. I can see other people that bought pools this year have install dates before mine. This company has no integrity. I'm being charged for parts I don't have and paid for an install last year! Their own customer service rep said they have a checkered past. The installers are terrible. Save yourself a lot of headaches and do not purchase or have your pool installed by Namco. Our liner is full of wrinkles and the overall quality of the installation is unacceptable for what we paid. ​What's even worse is trying to get someone to help you remedy the situation. Our phone calls, multiple emails, in person store visits, and hand written letters have all gone unanswered and no one has been able to help us. Once they have your money that is all they care about. BUYER BEWARE!!! DECEPTIVE PRICING PRACTICES AT NAMCO IN SALEM, NH. The 8 Pound Jumbo Slo-Pokes have a big sign in front of them listing the price at $29.99. Mrs. StoneOLD and I thought, "that's an excellent price. Maybe we should buy two?!?" Luckily, we only bought one. We checked our register receipt, when we got outside and saw that we'd been charged $44.99?!? We went back inside to correct what we thought to be an 'innocent mistake'. NOT SO FAST!!! "You should have read the fine print", said the well prepared Cashier. "That price only applies to quantities of four." Huh? We checked the sign and there it was in small print that had been 'highlighted' to make it blend into the blue background of the sign, "quantities of four". Okay, we've been duped. So, we'll just return the Slo-Pokes. NOT SO FAST!!! They have signs posted everywhere that read, 'due to safety concerns there are no returns on chemicals.' So, as soon as you walk out the door, you're stuck with the chemicals that NAMCO in Salem, NH tricked you into paying extra for. Shame on me and Mrs. StoneOLD for failing to be more vigilant to NAMCO's deceitful tactics but; double-shame on NAMCO for continuing these shady business practices. We will happily spend our money elsewhere with honest business owners in the area. Even the big box retailers are selling equal quality pool chemicals at comparable or better prices, WITHOUT THE PRICING SHELL GAME. Andrew has been nothing but helpful! I made the mistake and ordered the pool on-line which they were helpful until I had to reach them with a problem with my order. No response to emails, no response to calls and I couldn't reach anyone in Corporate. Until I called the Salem NH store and spoke to Andrew and he was able to assist me with my problem even though he didn't sell me the pool directly. I strongly suggest going in the Salem store and let him handle your sale! I will make sure to visit there for my products. read more

I have made phone calls, been in the store and sent emails with no results. I have been cheated out of $430. They initially lost my order from last year and delayed the merchandise being delivered. So our pool is up and running. As you know, Piece of the Beach no called, no showed last Monday the 29th. They rescheduled last Friday. At about 230 in the afternoon on Friday, Joanne from POTB calls and says they ran into a problem. Her driver that was hauling the Bobcat and dirt was stopped by State Police 10 minutes from my house. Being a Police Officer myself, I responded to the area where they were stopped and spoke to the Trooper. He advised me the trailer had no lights, was not even registered, the load weight was too high, and to top it off, the driver and passenger both had suspended licenses! So the driver was charged and the Trooper was nice enough to have the tow bring everything to my house. Another crew has to drive over two hours to pick up the other shady guys. They ended up starting work around 5 PM. At the start of the install, these characters tried to tell me they charge and extra 100 for every 6 inches they have to dig after the first 6 inches. I was told it would be about another 4 to 5 hundred. My yard is and was close to flat and they were telling me that they had to dig another 2.5 feet! I started taking pictures of my yard so that I could bring this forward. Then, they started telling me that my pump didn't come with all the parts, but stated they " had some spares" if I wanted to purchase them. Alao, they stated they had some foam pieces for under the liner that I should buy from them as I watched them take them out of the boxes that came from the pool! I was bullshit! So the foreman comes over to me a few minutes later and says, " Hey, if you could escort us to the MA border afterwards, I will throw all that stuff in and do the extra dig for free. This was because their trailer was illegal and not registered. After the install was complete, I followed them on the highway so that I didn't get charged, but no way, no how, would I have stopped if they got stopped. The foreman was driving and as far as I know, he has a license, but who knows? The crew also left cigarettes all over my yard that I cleaned up after before my dogs and kids found them. I would not recommend using that company in the future as they were a shitshow to deal with. The lady who handles the phones was a complete nightmare and sounded drunk most of the time I had to deal with her. And to top it off, yesterday, 2 days after the install, my wife discover a small rip in the top of the liner above the water level. So to say we are extremely disappointed is an understatement. The workers also peed all over our bathroom floor. Also, namco has blocked our messaging on Facebook. read more

I have been a customer there for over 15 years. I went there to buy antifreeze for my pool. (5) bottles I will add I was paying $4 more a bottle than there competition Leslie pools. The woman manager was ridiculous. She made a comment to me my response was ok. She came back to me when I was at the register to make the same comment. My husband and I purchased a pool from Namco in Salem NH in May. The sales person was nice but she was not educated enough on the pools or systems. There was constant negotiation with price and she had to call the owner on multiple occasions during the purchase process in order to get things approved ( this added about an additional hour to the buying process, so prepare to be there a while). They will rave about the salt water system but refuse to inform you that the salt water system is no recommend on any of the pools and that voids the warranty you purchase. You won't find this out until the pool is installed and actually having problems, when you call customer service they ( Lauren the rep) will inform you of this. The 12 screws that held the skimmer plate rusted within two weeks, the skimmer plate is stained with rust. When I called customer service I was told its not covered because salt water systems are not recommend on this pool and when i informed them we were not advised about this during the purchase process, I was told " I should have read the fine print". Customer service reps are young, inexperienced and be prepared to be put on hold and hung up on. The installation was very unprofessional, the people they contract to instal don't like to answer questions and rush through the work. If you have any problems, questions or concerns and you try to call the actual store in Salem, they will not answer. You will have to drive there. The staff are young and not trained properly to answer questions. The salt water generator bracket broke within one week and that is also NOT covered under the warranty, so to get this replaced I need to call the actual manufacture. The pool buying process should not have been this complicated. Please shop around. As a business owner I can tell you this is no way to treat customers. read more

Had the installer over to check the yard and said when do you want to install it.. I told him May 1st would be good. He then said where is the pool? Long story short.. Namco never mentioned that it can't be delivered until the end of May! I'm so unhappy.. they never mentioned anything about delayed shipping..wish we never did business with them!!! read more

To start, I wrote a very honest review on the customer service at the Salem NH store on the Namco Pool website which of course was not posted. if you read the posts on their page they are all 5 stars. The Salem NH store just needs to close. the customer service there is terrible there is never enough people working even when there is only 5 customers in the store. They had a l1ine out the door and 1 person ringing and 3 people helping 1 person with trying to figure out why their pump was leaking when they put it back together. Mine did the same thing the first time I put it back together you have to make sure it is aligned properly it does not take 4 people to figure that out ( I know because I heard the entire conversation). Another time same thing I went in for a skimmer basket people working wondering around 1 person ringing and line out the door. I said forget this and left. Went back a couple days later after making sure there was no line they ran out of the baskets (they are ALWAYS OUT OF SOMETHING) so after a conversation with the manager who could careless, I convinced him to open a new skimmer and sell me one from inside the box. I get to the register the girl clueless types it in 3 come up on the computer I can see and read them 1 was $14.00 2 was $9.00 and 3 $7.00. picked up and looked at the basket no tags or stickers of course because it came out of the box, yup she just picked on of course that 1 was the $14,00. When I asked why she did that price she looked at me and said that's what I think it is??? REALLY? You think not know? After that visit I went to Namco website and wrote a review similar to this and of course it was not posted. If you buy pool mechanics (Filter, Pump etc.) from Namco the only place you can get replacement parts for them is Yup Namco. I am in the the process of changing all my parts and getting away from Namco. Good luck! read more

DO NOT buy anything from any NAMCO!! Especially their pools covers! ALL covers are CRAP no matter what they tell you about them! They will tell you they are warrenteed for ANY defect and even if they leak through. Just bring it back in and we'll give you a new one. WRONG, they will NOT replace it!! AFTER you buy it they tell you the manufacturers warrenty only cover the seams.. not the whole cover!! You CANNOT just bring the leaking cover in for a replacement! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT THIS SCAM OPERATION!! Every time you go in any of their stores there are new people working there. The employee turnover is unbelievable. That alone should tip you off to the kind of store it is. NO BETTER than a used car dealership. NAMCO sells CRAP and whoever owns this SCAM operation should face a deceptive business practice lawsuit. read more
