I needed repair work done on my pool pump and floor vac. With one email and one phone call, I had service scheduled and completed in a week. I was not encouraged to buy a new pump, rather, they found appropriate parts for the 13 year old pump and it now runs like new. The team was on time, very pleasant, professional and efficient! The owner of this store has no clue how to conduct good customer service. I've spent a lot of money there on pool chemicals and even bought my hot tub there a few years ago. A couple of times now I've had a return for whatever reason and he was not accommodating. He's rather rude too. I'll be bringing my business over to Blue Dolphin instead! Maybe someone should tell him how to run a business and make customers happy if you want it to succeed! read more

tl;dr Empire is the most reliable and professional pool services firm we have found since moving to NH in 2011. Longer version: We've been living in NH for the past 8 years or so. We've always had an inground pool, and there was one waiting here for us. Our pool(s) have tended to be a little more complex ( salt systems, build in floor cleaning jets, built in hot tub, etc ) and service can be pretty complicated. We've used 4 different companies to help us with the pool, from opening/closing to replacing pumps, actuators, etc. All have worked hard, and none of them would rate less than a 4 here on Yelp, but Empire has been head and shoulders above. Nicole makes and keeps to an aggressive schedule, the pool is opened and closed on time, and I can go in and ask questions whenever I need to. They've recently had to do some equipment replacement, and yet again, the scheduling was a breeze and the cost was very reasonable. I recommend Empire to my friends, so I'll do it to my extended Yelp community as well. read more

Technicians arrived on scheduled date and time - definitely knew there stuff and provide a great service. My only issue/advice would be to ensure you get pricing in writing up front. I was told on several occasions estimated pricing and was told final pricing would be done at completion of pool closing and only difference would be chemicals used. My invoice turned out to be significantly more than expected without the chemicals and when i inquired the responses i received continued to change and contradict what they were claiming was the cause.. My mother bought a jacuzzi around 2007, maybe a tad later. She had a great experience with them when she purchased the Beachcomber jacuzzi from them at the time. The service people are very good at what they do. When they come to her home, they are very friendly, and I saw the recorder. She has cameras in her home, and I saw the recording of them. I did see what a great pair of gentlemen that they were. They came to the house last year because the water was not heating up, and they told her that she needed a Hush Pump. They said to her that they did not have them right now, I am thinking because of Covid. I don't know. So they agreed on ordering the pump and that next year they could install it for her at the beginning of the year 2021. She said, sure, that is great, so they proceeded to shut down the jacuzzi for winter, and in the end, she asked them how much and that she would pay them at the time, and they told her that the office would send her an invoice. She gave both men a big tip, and they went on their way. This job happened at the end of October, November of 2020, by the way. We are now in the last couple of weeks of May. She received that bill, not just a statement, a nasty invoice, which I don't mind sharing with the world so you can see I'm not just saying this. The invoice was sent out by Empire Pools around the end of April of 2021. My mother called and got a young woman, and first, she wanted to talk to her about the hush pump she needed to replace on the Beachcomber jacuzzi. She told her that she would call her on June 20 to set a time, or someone may install the pump at that time. She said to her that she did not have the pump in stock yet. She was a nasty person to my mother. My mother waved this off as to having to deal with a young kid. She would not let my mother get a word in edgewise, totally rude to her, basically railroading her. My mother told her about the invoice. My mother tried to explain to the girl that she tried to pay the bill after the young guys completed the job, and the guys told her that they did not do that and the office would send her the invoice and did not have any invoice slips in the truck. We are again on June 20, 2021; the girl from Empire pool did not call, so my mother called her. She had open windows and dogs in her truck and told the girls that she was speaking loud because it was loud in the vehicle. My mother wanted the girl to hear her. She was not yelling at the girl at all. I listened to all the conversations going back and forth between this girl and Kevin- one of the co-owners of Empire pool. I should put the whole discussion on youtube or one of those public places, so everyone could see how they spoke to an ill woman dying from stage 4 metastatic cancer! Kevin, co-owner of Empire pools, called my mother and told her that they did have the pump in stock after all the hell the girl put my mother through. Oh, they were not done with her yet. He managed to be still as nasty as he could to my mother. He told her that he would install it on June 10, 2021, and my mother was to pay upfront on the day off the installation. That will not happen at this point. The other partner, Jeff, co-owner of Empire pools, was just as nasty to me when I called him. I wanted him to focus on the concept of what they had done to my mother, and he just blew it off like she was a piece of trash. He lied and said that he kept calling for the bill, in which three people were looking for phone records coming from Empire pools, and not one of their number came up. 1: They could have resolved this so quickly, and It did not happen. 2: Jeff, the co-owner of Empire pools, lied to her about his supposedly made phone calls. 3: The girl lied to her about the part not being in. 4: The girl was never reprimanded and trained on treating customers with respect and common courtesy. 5: They should have allowed my mother to pay the invoice on the day of the service, which they did not. They sent her the invoice seven months later. The invoice sent was written in a demeaning manner. 6: Both owners and the young girl that worked in the office never apologized to my mother for the way they treated her. 7: Jeff was just as nasty to me. I felt terrible after I swore at him after he gave me an ultimatum. I don't think anyone likes someone talking down to them. 8: The compromise was never there. Empire pools owners felt it was alright for them to treat someone like they were garbage, even after my mother bought a very expensive jacuzzi from them, going to buy a pool from them- no way-never. The bottom line is there are nasty people out there. But, my mother was not. Even if my mother had been a tad loud so they could hear her, they had no right to do what they did. They made her feel insecure about herself, they made her feel like a liar, a person that does not pay her bills, a person of lower rank. Their prejudiced ways toward my mom are unacceptable.and to make her sick! Shameful! read more

Yup, just like the others here, made an appointment and they are a no show. Called 6 weeks ago, told they were not doing our area yet and would call back when they were....never heard from. Called two weeks later and they gave us and appointment today and never showed up. When called, Kevin the Manager tried to tell us they didn't come because we complained about a deflated pillow 3 years ago. We have been using them for the following 3 years???? So this is the way they do business??? Would NEVER use them again! They cannot be trusted. Not even apologetic for the screw up. Said they could come in a month! Terrible experience! Service could not be done the day scheduled due to damaged pipes (which I told them about ahead of time) so I was charged for initial service and was told I would get a call that day with a new cost and date for the actual service. If that would have happened it would have been no big deal deal....They took the siding of the hotub off and did not put back on then never called! Paid 100.00 bucks for them to take off the side of the hot tub (and not or it back on) and then not follow up with me. Then, when I called to follow up they were rude and not helpful. Took a week to get a call back after calling 3 separate times!!! Then they told me they still didn't know what parts would be needed but it would be too expensive and not worth it....DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

When we showed up they only had one person on staff and he was helping another customer, he took the time to say hello and let us know that he would be with us as soon as he can. The sales person was very helpful and went over all our options for an above ground pool. He went over all our options based on our yard and landscape. I have used Empire pools to open and close my pool for the last year. Not only did they show on the day they said they would, I had questions yesterday and they stayed on the phone with me for half an hour while I tried to trouble shoot it. When I couldn't figure it out 100%, I asked for a service call and they came TODAY. next day and they called before arrival! My pool looks awesome and they are all great. Can't say enough positive things about them. I've heard so many other issues with pool service in Southern NH but these guys have been great and professional. read more

We had a Radiant Inground Pool installed two years ago. This year when taking the cover off after winter, the liner was floating. Contacted the company and 2 weeks after contacting, they came out to look. They said there was a hole in the liner and that is how water got on the opposite side of the liner causing it to float. I asked why the water on the other side wasn't draining out then, and they said because they compacted it so good. Not knowing, since I am not a pool guy, I went with what they said. Two weeks later they came out to take the liner out and replace it, and come to find out more water was coming in. Long story short and after 2 months of trying to figure this all out, they put our pool in our water table. When coming out to do the site inspection, they never noted any concern with a water table nor looked at how high up our leach-field was built up. They never put draining around the pool so the water has become trapped, creating another few thousand dollar issue. They do not stand behind their product, and in fact, the owner Jeff has now stated that we will need to pay for a new liner when we do get the drainage issue figured out since it wasn't the liner issue. They have not been a support to fix the issue, and have stated it is a larger issue than they know what to do with. read more
