I came looking for peaches and plums. But the main reason was I saw that Starter Bakery had a stand set up here on Saturday. This is one of the best bakeries in the Bay Area. Vendors are all pretty much the same (and it's hilarious some of the faces are familiar and seen at estate sale hunts) 3. Love how they attempt a theme and have added old school cars to the mix! 4. The vendors are not the nicest... they don't budge and are not willing to negotiate (I mean that's the fun of flea markets!) 5. Kind of pricey. Pretty much all antique and used items. A couple of vendors sell new but very "made in China" items 6. Products are often repeated aka the same 7. It's not huge... you could probably walk the entire thing in less than 30 minutes Would I come back? I just love estate sales, rummage sales, flea markets, etc. It's great to walk around especially when you don't have the mindset of "must have to buy"

For summer break we decided to start the day here and find lunch close by. It was much larger and busier than it was in Winter. The great thing is free parking and free admission, the walk from parking to the fleamarket is very close. If you want to sell here the pricing per spot is low and you can pull in easily with your car. I believe each spot is $20 and this fleamarket happens the 2nd Saturday of every month. They do a good job of attracting vendors with that sell newer items in bulk, more classic garage style bring your old junk, plants, antiques, and some food trucks. The coolest thing we did was probably the train ride that goes through the fleamarket and car show. The car show area did smell like something peope like to smoke though :) It does get hot later in the day in Summer so best to come early. We ended up leaving with some nice snacks and old books for the kids.

I dislike carrot cake that has walnut CHUNKS. I don't want smushy crunch texture. Mamahouse puts ground up walnuts in the carrot cake. The best way I can describe the carrot cake is that it tastes like Christmas. That reads silly but that's how I feel. It's also the perfect size to share amongst our family of 4. Bakery Review…read more Hands-down, the best bakery place in Fremont actually I would stay in the Bay Area. You must work with Sebastian. He is wonderful. He gets your vision and makes the cake the way you want to come out. The cakes are delicious and he makes them fresh and he makes them look so pretty. This reviews actually overdue. I got my son's wedding cake from them and it was the most delicious cake ever and I also got the engagement cake for my daughter from Sebastian. He is wonderful person. I love the way he makes her cakes and I just got one cake yesterday for my daughter's birthday and she loved it so you must try cakes from this place and have Sebastian turn it into a beautiful piece of art. I cannot even talk about prices. Their prices are so good. I priced the wedding Cake at every other Bakers and as soon as you tell them, the wedding price is 10 times more these people do not raise their prices.
