    Third Sunday of every month. Very nice oils and other vendors selling items. We live the olive soap.

They Sell: - American Lamb (Not Gamey, Delicious) - High-Quality Chicken (Mary's) - Homemade Sausages - Solid Pork/Beef (including Wagyu) - Game Meats, Veal, Seafood - Deli Items - Seasonal: Dry-Age Prime Rib, Heritage Turkey, etc. Over time, I've made a conciencous effort to get my proteins here. My rotation has usually been their chicken leg quarters, ribeyes, lamb rib chops, and pork steaks. Recently, I made tandoori lamb chops (my favorite dish) with their American lamb, and it was honestly one of the best versions I've ever made (photo attached). A few extra notes: * Go during the week if you can. It's less crowded and the experience is more personal -- you get to actually talk to the folks behind the counter. * The walkways are tight. Not their fault, just something to be aware of if you're on the taller or bigger side. * Hours can be tough for a 9-to-5. They're open Wednesday through Friday during the week and close at 5, so I've had a few near-misses trying to swing by after work. Weekends are open, but plan ahead. * Online pricing would be a nice add -- would help with planning. * Wishlist: Would love to see limited offerings of premium versions of other proteins -- Iberico or Berkshire pork, Mary's pasture-raised chicken, Ora King salmon, bluefin tuna. And spirits (bourbon, rum) would be a fun addition. Overall, a great business and a real value-add to the community. I'll keep coming back - highly recommend checking out!

Unfortunately I've tried a different sandwich on two occasions now and won't be back again. The first time I got a build your own sandwich ($14) with pastrami. Usually a place either has amazing pastrami or terrible pastrami. I really did not like the pastrami here, it was super chewy which made for an unpleasant experience to the point where I was forcing myself to finish eating it but felt gross after and probably just should have thrown it out. The second time I tried the Del Valle TAB signature sandwich ($16 + $2 tax). For $18 it was incredibly disappointing. It wasn't a nice big sandwich but just a normal size. The bacon was so hard that I had to consciously make sure to eat it slowly otherwise I felt like I was going to break my teeth. And the overall flavor was lacking.

    So I have very mixed feelings about this place. Some things are incredible. Some things are not…read moreso great. I am a member of the "Legends" club. So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.

The patatas bravas were incredibly delicious, the cauliflower dish was amazing, the shishito peppers were so flavorful, and the vegan paella was such a pleasant surprise , full of flavor and beautifully prepared. My friend ordered shrimp and loved it. She had been there before and had tried the seafood paella and other dishes, and everything was excellent. The drinks were also high quality and complemented the meal perfectly. A special thank you to Patrick, our server, who was outstanding. He truly understands hospitality and made the whole experience even better with his attentiveness and professionalism. And knowing this gem is woman-owned makes it even more special. It's wonderful to support a restaurant bringing authentic Spanish flavors, excellent service, and such a warm atmosphere to Livermore. We will definitely be back!

It has a friendly, family-owned feel, and that comes through in every plate. You can tell they care. We started with the albondigas, bread, and espresso martinis, then moved to the spare rib and chicken paella, which is a full meal on its own. Everything was really well done. Churros with chocolate were a perfect finish. One of the best new spots on First Street!

The quality honestly reminds me of the kind of musubi you'd get in Hawaii, similar to places like Iyasume. Ever since trying musubi in Hawaii years ago, I've been hooked, and Musubi Libre is one of the very few places here that really gives me that same feeling/experience I've had. While the musubi are absolutely amazing, and it is their namesake, the Mrs. And I really like the onigiri! It's surprisingly hard to find truly good onigiri here in the US that lives up to the quality of the ones you'd get in Japan. Leonard, the owner clearly puts a ton of effort into each. He's definitely perfected his craft. The Mrs. and I have ordered from here casually many times before on our days off. We've tried the tuna, mentaiko, and ume. Mentaiko is my personal fave. The tuna is excellent too, and the ume has a classic salty-tangy flavor that's unique and refreshing. It's a great option for vegetarians as well. Recently, we ordered from Leonard to have onigiri catered for our daughter's birthday party. We got those 3 flavors. Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself! I think I came on the off day since he was busy and out of a few things, but I appreciated his kindness and great customer service because he gave us a few more musubis as well. My sister said the Omnipork was just a tad bit dry, but I really enjoyed mine. The shrimp was perfectly fried and flavorful and tasted great with the spam. The latte was also delicious and creamy. There was a decent sized parking lot in the back as well.
