The combination of melty cheese and the chipotle sauce was incredible. It was packed with flavor without being overwhelming. My mom ordered a mocha, and I treated myself to a mimosa to celebrate. Both were delicious, but what really made the experience special was the thoughtful birthday surprise. Instead of the typical cupcake or scoop of ice cream, they brought me a little "Birthday Brie" with crackers, fresh fruit, and honey. It was such a unique touch, and since Brie is my favorite cheese, I was genuinely so excited. Before we left, I also grabbed a Biscoff cookie. It was huge, soft, and absolutely delicious. I expected it to be super sweet, but it had the perfect balance, which I loved. We arrived right when they opened at 8:00 a.m., and by the time we were finishing up, the café had really started to fill up. It's easy to see why! Maybe add mayo, Dijon, and sour cream with apples and walnuts? The avocado toast needs to have more flavoring other than just slicing avocado on some toast. Toast was difficult to cut. Try using some balsamic glaze over micro greens/arugula and a little EVO would go a long way. Maybe guacamole for the avocado toast and top with a fried egg (not crispy on the edges). We have found Tony Chachere's seasoning elevates many dishes, and would be a great accent for avocado toast ;) The cookies are dry & flavorless, our toddler wasn't interested in her cookie despite the pretty sprinkles. So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.

The chili oil had a lot of heat and flavor to it! I don't recommend the chili oil if you're picturing a light spice because it packs a punch. But if you like the fire, highly recommend! My partners favorite was the classic teriyaki spam with unagi and avocado. I really enjoyed the portion sizing of each item - created a really perfect bite. The unagi had an extra smokiness to it. I think it's probably prepared in house/not supermarket unagi - the taste was quite different from that! The chicken lumpia was crispy and perfectly seasoned - not too salty and savory. The Thai chili sauce wasn't too spicy at all either. We'd definitely be back to try more!

The tuna is excellent too, and the ume has a classic salty-tangy flavor that's unique and refreshing. It's a great option for vegetarians as well. Recently, we ordered from Leonard to have onigiri catered for our daughter's birthday party. We got those 3 flavors. Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself!
