The 4 week obedience training with Angie, Savannah was transformed into a calmer doggo, with great manners, and way more confidence in herself than when we first rescued her. We also just boarded Savannah and Poppy (our older golden retriever) with Angie for 5 days. The facilities were top notch (indoor heated/cooled kennels with anytime access to outdoor runs instead of crates) and the attention that Savannah and Poppy got was fantastic. The pictures provided to us while they were boarded showed how big smiles both dogs had. When we went to pick them up, you could tell the dogs were given lots of love and attention. Poppy is my velcro dog and she did not want to leave because of the amount of love she got while being boarded. Savannah also did made sure to give Angie lots of love before jumping into the car. During our trip we asked Angie if she would be able to give Savannah a spa day with a wash and pedicure, and Angie said no problem and got it done before we had picked Savannah up. Pretty Smart Pet Services has all of our training, boarding, and now grooming needs for Poppy and Savannah and any future doggos we decide to get. The drive from Va Beach to Franklin is well worth knowing that Poppy and Savannah get the best care possible.

She was AMAZING at controlling him until he was calm and she was able to trim his nails. We can't wait to have Ange come back for in-home behavior training. Scout is a rescue dog, and a BITER. The office informed me that Dr. Edin has again refused to provide medication for our dog, despite knowing the potential harm this will cause. This follows a previous refusal to provide insulin. My reaction to this news was understandably strong, given my concern for our pet's well-being. Dr. Edin's subsequent comments regarding other patient's behavior speaking poorly about then and then my alleged use of Yelp is inaccurate and unprofessional. Prior to this call, I had no knowledge of the situation or that the office possessed my contact information. It is deeply concerning that Dr. Edin would allow our dog to suffer, potentially to the point of death. Our long-standing veterinary relationship has been abruptly terminated, and our dog will again suffer due to Dr. Edin's actions.

The receptionist picked up and was able to immediately schedule a check up at 9:15AM the same day. Once we arrived, we were promptly seen by Dr. Bates within 5-10 minutes. He and the staff clearly know how to deal with distraught, uneasy animals. He checked out my cat for any issues and sent us home with some medication and peace of mind! We are grateful the clinic could take us on short notice and ensure our cat didn't pick up any major illness/bugs during her outdoor escape. It wasn't a cheap vet visit, but it was absolute worth it. Our cat has also been seen by Dr. Bates for vaccinations and fleas within the past few years - both of those visits were great experiences as well!
