Update: After I wrote my review I was sent a letter from Nancy 0's LAWYER "commanding" me to remove my review, threatening to sue me if I didn't. The lawyer claims my review was spurious, so, rather than being bullied by a big corporation with lots of money, who's clearly trying to use their influence and power to scare me into living in inhumane conditions I am updating this review with more evidence. I have been living in a house without a working kitchen sink for over 3 months. Attached is an email from Nancy O herself where she literally says "Stop playing the Blame game and take responsibility for your actions you continue to cause. According to the last two sink issues, Pay attention to what is falling or being put into the sink and your washing down the drain." So apparently the 1st time the sink stopped working it was because the food disposal (which is over ten years old, past warranty, and according to our contract I am NOT responsible for appliances that have outlived there warranty) stopped working. She says her plumber (who failed to fix the problem) found a bread twist (A BREAD TWIST!) and THAT is what made the sink break 3 times in a row! So im supposed to "take responsibility" for delapidated appliances? Also attached to back my statement that things started falling apart as soon as I moved in is a screenshot of long list of work requests I had to start putting in as soon as I moved. She actually once told me "Tomorrow the owner of the last plumbing co is coming to the 9 am appointment .Your in luck, they made a spot this week or you could be doing the dishes even longer in the bathroom sink. .I highly suggest you be there." (also attached) is this how you talk to a tenant? Is this professional? Did I mention she sent me a COMPLETELY BASELESS eviction notice (also attached) as well when I asked her to fix the fence? It took her over two months. My rent was paid up but i was given a "3 day notice to vacate" due to "waste, nuissance, and unlawful use of premises". Ummmm i don't have any waste at my house I barely even have furniture. I live like a hermit and don't even have a sofa and I've been here for over a year and make about 75k annually. As far as being a nuissance I've never had a bad interaction with any of my neighbors or had a complaint filed against me by any one in the neighborhood. And illegal use of the premises? Just racist and baseless. So baseless I completely ignored the "3 day notice" and she didn't even have the gumption to TRY to bring this before a judge. Just scare tactics and bullying methods of a management company that preys on minorities and working class renters. Literally, these people will harass you endlessly if you ask them to make repairs of any sort. I would only rent from the people if you are minority looking to hit it big with a racial discrimination lawsuit. These people are so sloppy they leave themselves wide open for litigation. FInally attached is the complaint notice where she is trying to bully a single father with her lawyers about a yelp review. My property manager Nancy , Nancy of NancyOHomes takes pride in serving her clients and tenants in her selection of vendors needing repairs. She follows through immediately. My microwave gave out on Thanksgiving Day. She had secured a handyman "Bobby". He was on time, efficient, cleaned up a mess. When he removed the microwave, a birds nest came through the vent. He made sure the cover to the vent was on( it had slipped off). He secured it! This is one of the examples of her choice of vendors. I am so impressed with her. I moved from CA to WA in 2019: I contacted Nancy Ohomes Property Management Nov of 2018 She found me and my grandson the perfect house to rent. I totally relied on her, I rented the house from her" sight unseen ", she exceeded my expectations. The location and the house are perfect. I needed to be able to walk to shopping and to church, in a safe neighborhood. I'm close to Target, Kohls, and Laurelwood Baptist Church. Everything I prayed for. My husband and I were interested in a property for rent and the first time we scheduled to view the property, Nancy never showed up. The second time we met with her to view the property she was in her car on the phone and told us to go inside and look around because she was on the phone and not to be too long because she was already late for a movie. When she came inside she asked if we liked the place, she then asked "if we could even afford it?" We completed the application anyhow and were approved and we received notification that our application was approved. My husband is a police officer and was working and unable to respond immediately and two hours after our approval message, we received a message saying if we didn't sign the paperwork she was going to put the house back on the market. My husband called because he had some follow-up questions before signing and after multiple attempts was advised that he should text Nancy. In speaking with Nancy over the phone she was rude and indifferent and considering her behavior and attitude towards us from the very beginning I was beginning to think it was because we are a black couple. Unfortunately in reading many of these reviews, I can see that is not the case and that she just happens to be very unprofessional. read more

It was nice to not have to worry, had great tenants for several years with no issues. Nancy and her team were always available and very accommodating even when I decided to discontinue their services when i sold the home. Do not rent from this agency. They are rude and have no sense of customer service or how to speak to a (possible or current) tenant. I applied for a house they had for rent and paid the two application fees. It took 12 calls to finally get an answer. The woman that answered the phone was short with me and down right rude. When I told her I applied she stated "I'm working on it"... I tried to get some more information and she just repeated herself. The next day I got a call from the same woman saying I was declined due to being in a current lease, which I had contacted my current landlord about and she was aware I was possibly moving. Once again when I tried to ask more questions, she just repeated herself: "like I said your application is denied". I told her sorry but i don't think thats the final answer, she said I could send an email to Nancy (the broker), so I did. I had an appointment to tour the house that same day, I tried to call the office 25 time (literally) to make sure the app confirmed. No one answered and no one showed up to the tour. To this day (a week later) I have received no call back to my 3 voicemails and email. Horrible establishment and I am very glad I don't have to deal with them again. Nancy, you have several complaints about how you run your business. I recommend listening to what people have to say and trying to make it right instead of defending yourself, it's obviously not working out. read more

This company has a property listed on CL in Kelso WA that says Locally managed but when you dive in a little deeper you find out they are out of Vancouver. Also the $200.00 set up fee??? what the hell is that and another fee to run her background check and a way higher than average deposit amount this lady is dreaming there are about 10 property management companies here in town LOCAL that don't charge any of that crap. im very surprised a property owner would outsource like that... shame shame read more

Please stay away from Nancy O'Neal. She is extremely rude and condescending. We were in a rental property managed by her for one year. Every interaction with her was unpleasant and stressful. She got the roof of the rental house replaced, without consulting us about which days would work for us. She knew we were moving out and could have waited for three days, but instead, informed us at the last minute and there was nothing we could do but tolerate the horrible noise, dirt and disturbance for four days. She visited the home twice for inspection, and behaved very unprofessionally. She pointed out damages that we had already noted before moving in, and lectured us about how we should have informed her about them. When we politely reminded her that those damages happened prior to our moving in, she did not even apologize. She took no interest in improving the interior of the house. Her texts, emails and phone messages were always rude and unprofessional. As part of the contract, she was supposed to take care of all pest problems. When we encountered a problem with ants in the kitchen, she sent us insulting emails and texts implying that we did not keep our kitchen clean. The only thing I can say in her favor is that she got the old dishwasher replaced in a timely manner with a good quality one. read more

Called Nancy O Yesterday and scheduled an appointment to view a duplex they had for rent. We arrived on time and Nancy was considerably late. She then Communicated with another Non-Appointment Looker from the curb for another 20 minutes and showed the duplex to them first even though we had an appointment she was already late for. The most unprofessional Rental Management company I have ever dealt with. The Property is 14606 Se 17th Circle. We over heard her talking about Lice in the carpets and it had been cleaned. When we were asked to see the rest of the property we kindly refused and went on our way. I would not rent from this management company they are scrupulous at best. read more

do not rent from nancy o homes. this property management company is horrible. when reparis need to be done they are not fixed in a timely manner or at all. the excuses for not fixing something is because the contrators that she has are extermely busy. also she does not send you your refund in a timely or as soon as possbile as per the paperwork. there are better property management companies out there. read more
