I was expecting this to be a relatively cheap repair considering it's a fairly easy job. Now I completely understand that a shop has to pay their techs and make money but they charged me 149.99 for an IGNITION SWITCH. Normally a $14 part. They also didn't run the price by me which made me think that they were going to be reasonable. If you're going to mark up a part 10x, don't you think that would be something you should run by your customers first? So I walked out of there paying $490. For a 14 dollar part and a solenoid ($60). On top of all this, they uninstalled a kill switch without telling me and they also uninstalled my trackhawk security system. Once I brought this to their attention they told me to go back to the installer, which I had to pay another $150. If they were unable to reinstall something, they should've let me know first. Also now I'm having other electrical problems within the car. I am not accusing them of anything but I was not experiencing these problems before I had them work on it. I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). KH kept it overnight and I drove it one…read moremile home. 8/8/26 attempted to drive - huge puddle, extremely stiff steering, impossible to drive longer distances than 1 mile. They looked it over, found a leak and I took it home that evening! Saturday another huge leak - puddle, resevoir below minimal and bubbling fluid, no power steering. They're not open weekends. Waiting for a return of many calls 8/10/26 @8am their opening time. Nothing yet! ! Haven't had a working car since I left it with kar hospital. Currently, not reccomended.
