Princess (Nanny in the City) came highly recommended from a trusted friend. It was a match from the beginning-- she has really clear, professional materials that lay out what she offers in different packages and helped us figure out what we needed. Ultimately we booked 2 nights a week for about 6 weeks. She met us beforehand so we could talk about what we were needing and met my other child to include him in the process, which was lovely. It was such a relief coming home from the hospital with a new baby and knowing that we were going to have support a couple times a week. That first night when postpartum hormones were raging and I was still banged up from birth (IYKYK), Princess was so reassuring, not just in her care for the baby, but also in her care for me. When she brought me the baby, she made sure I had water, snacks, my glasses/phone or anything else I needed. Her manner was so calm and competent that I felt absolutely secure handing her my baby in the night. My husband was also able to get good sleep so he could take even better care of us the next day. The benefits were definitely multifaceted. Even as a second time mom there were so many things she taught me about my baby-- it was incredibly validating when she noticed things and offered support/ideas. We also used some of Nanny in the City's other services which I also recommend! Princess coached us on how to locate a part time nanny and helped us review our candidate via an interview, references, and completed a background check for us. Princess is the perfect blend of professional warmth. We highly recommend her!

Princess is supportive, professional, reliable, and exceedingly warm and understanding. I was hesitant with trusting someone to take care of our first newborn baby, but immediately felt comfortable with her in our home. We were unfamiliar with the process of interviewing, selecting, and hiring and needed guidance throughout. Rachel is a true professional with an undeniable talent for finding the perfect match between nannies and families. She is personable and knowledgeable and treated us as if we were a member of her own family. Rachel was a nanny herself for many years and she knows the ins and outs of the industry better than anyone we've ever met. She was able to give advice on candidates, negotiations, payroll services, and answer many, many other questions that we had as new parents. The process of finding a good nanny can be daunting and Rachel was absolutely invaluable. We are so happy with the nanny that Rachel matched us with and we never would have found her if not for Nashville Nanny Agency. I would give Nashville Nanny Agency my highest recommendation and I would never go anywhere else!

She is deeply unprofessional, incompetent, and dishonest…read more When I originally gave her the details and responsibilities of what we were looking for in a candidate (a replacement for the woman who has worked with us for three years and is moving across the country) she guided me into a position which glorified the responsibilities in order to attract candidates in her talent pool vs having to work to find what we needed. As a result, she presented candidates who were extremely overqualified - mainly individuals who were managing staff across several households. We ultimately agreed on a candidate who was supposed to have a soft start April 1, and a formal start May 1. At Tiffanie's guidance, we agreed to: 5 paid sick or personal days per year 10 paid vacation days per year 8 paid holidays per year This is for a part-time employee working 25 hours / week. We were uncomfortable moving from hourly to salary for this position but agreed to so we could get, what she said, was one of the best candidates she's ever seen or had in her pool. At Tiffanie's urging, we agreed to pay her beginning April 1 "in good faith" while the new hire took a 10 day vacation on that date that did not count towards vacation days because she was, again, an "exceptional candidate" that we could not risk losing. Once back from her vacation, she came to work and on Day One complained about the job to our current house assistant, under whom she was training. She then kept complaining to our children about having to clean and do laundry - the exact details of what was in the job description. We were VERY clear in the interview what exactly she would be doing. Over the upcoming two weeks, she did not show up to work, did not communicate to us, and violated our privacy by posting photos in our home with our children in the background on Instagram and social media platforms of her cooking and of her relaxing with her feet up on the sofa outside. When I expressed concerns to Tiffanie, she was defensive, unprofessional, and combative. We ended up terminating the employee three weeks in and asked for her to find a replacement. She stopped communicating and presented us one candidate in over a month. As a result, I had to take over the job search myself - pay to post on platforms, screen candidates, interview, shadow day, background checks - everything we originally contracted Tiffanie to do. Because she ultimately did not perform her job duties, we asked for a refund of the $10,600 placement fee. We did not ask for the $500 search fee considering she attempted a placement and should be compensated fairly for that work. We did not feel, however, she met the contracted duties of the $10,600 placement fee. She wrote back that she would do nothing - no return of fee, no placement, nothing. I feel compelled to share this story to spare anyone the expense of working with Tiffanie. She is a bad businessperson, deeply unethical, and should not be allowed to operate this scam. We plan to report her and take legal action. It isn't just about the wasted money, but about the ethical and moral injustice.
