Life-Changing Experience for Our Dog and Family!…read more We can't thank Canine Case Squad enough for the incredible transformation we've seen in our dog. Before working with them, we were dealing with intense leash reactivity and fence fighting with a neighbor's dog--everyday life had become stressful for all of us. From the very first consultation, Shari and Dan were calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. As certified behaviorists with formal education in applied canine behavior, they used science-based methods to assess our dog, uncover the root causes of her behavior, and create a customized modification plan tailored to her needs. What truly set them apart was their thoughtful, humane approach and their ability to adapt the plan as our dog progressed. They took the time to understand her individual temperament and behavior patterns, and designed a plan that worked with her natural instincts while effectively addressing the behaviors that were causing problems. Within a few sessions, we saw major changes. Walks became enjoyable again, and our dog is now calmer, happier, and much more responsive. We also feel more confident and equipped as owners, thanks to the guidance and support Shari and Dan provided. If you're looking for compassionate, skilled, and truly dedicated professionals who get results without sacrificing your dog's well-being, we highly recommend Canine Case Squad. They changed our life--and our dog's--for the better!

I used Dog Guard in 2006 for my home in Westtown. When Emma was less than a year old she was running to and from the neighbor's house where I was chasing after her constantly. The final straw was the day that she came in contact with her future boyfriend Tully boy. I did not know that Tully boy was harmless at the time but it scared me enough that I ran all the way home and went right for the Yellow Pages. LITERALLY. True story. It was then that I had an opportunity to talk to Chris and about a week later he installed the invisible fence by Dog Guard around my 2-acre property. He also installed the monitor in the flower beds and in one room inside (where I fed the cats). The training only needed to be done once because the second time Emma wanted no part of it... She took one look at Chris and ran in the other direction.... Which means she got it from GetGo LOL not that I'm laughing really because it's sad to see your dog get zapped for the first time. But she never got zapped again. Once those yellow flags are up the dog wants no part of trying to go through them. Emma would always stay 5 to 10 feet away. Needless to say she never went through it except one time when I was on my bicycle and drove past the end of the driveway down the street. At that time though she didn't have the collar on. In her defense she was just probably a nervous wreck not wondering where I was going so she took the risk. She never wore the collar after about the first 6 months. She didn't need to. Most dogs don't. The first thing I will be doing is calling Chris to install another invisible fence after I get my next home and before I get my next dog. Note: over the years of having my dog fence I needed revisions from time to time because when I was cutting the hedges I sometimes accidentally cut the wires and Chris would have to come back. So really, he kind of became a family friend and a trustworthy source.

Some time after the fence was put in someone accidentally damaged it, Chris was quick to respond and fix the fence for me. I definitely recommend working with them!

But none of this would be possible without the exceptional guidance and personalized help we've had over the past several years from the team at Good Dog. Do yourself a favor, and sign up for class today. You won't regret it! Here's the reality... I had no idea how to train a dog. I thought it was something you do for a couple of months, and maybe you get a dog that listens to you. But Anne's approach of really helping dog owners understand dog psychology and effective techniques for breaking skill-building into bite-sized chunks helped me reshape my thinking and develop the patience and consistency needed to get an incredible result. I never dreamed that I could have a dog that listens as well as Sierra. How well does Sierra listen? Well, her recall is so good that she came running up 2 flights of stairs when I previewed the video I chose to include in this review. Just from the whistle in the video. I thought that kind of behavior was outside of my abilities to achieve. But Good Dog helped me realize that training a dog doesn't have to be a burden -- it's a lot easier than you think. It just requires consistency and a bit of oversight from a knowledgeable expert. Point is... You could have this for your dog, too!
