These were the exact services I paid for, and from day one I made it clear that the entire purpose of bringing him here was for him to socialize with other dogs, not sit alone at home while I worked. I have spent thousands of dollars at this facility since 2023 on training and care. Not once was I told of any behavioral concern during that time -- unless I brought something up myself from home. Never once did they raise an issue based on his behavior in their facility. I recently learned that my pet has been spending roughly 90% of his day crated, interacting only with staff and no other dogs, and this was done without my knowledge or consent. There was no explanation, no disclosure, and no communication whatsoever. When I questioned this, staff refused to answer the actual question and instead said KSDT was "no longer the right fit." They then insisted I had been "told," which is directly contradicted by my written communications. Tell me why anyone would pay for playcare if their dog is going to be crated all day -- when he could be at home on the couch, with water, space, toys, and comfort for free. For three months, I attempted to schedule training and was passed between staff repeatedly. There was no functioning scheduling process, no clarity, and no accountability. When I asked the most basic question: "What exactly does my pet do while in your care?" I received no real answer. Only runaround, deflection, and attempts to place blame onto me rather than simply telling me what their paid service consisted of. As a paying client, this level of evasiveness was alarming and suggested something was being avoided. When I sought transparency, I was refused access to my pet's records, refused training notes and invoices I paid for, and the owner's email was withheld until I stated I would escalate the matter further. Only then was it provided. Shortly after raising these concerns, my entire client account was deleted, instantly removing all access to my pet's history, notes, and prior information. The timing speaks for itself. After I was no longer a client, the General Manager - who had my number solely for business purposes, used my personal phone number to send unsolicited, hostile, mocking, and retaliatory messages about my private email to the owner. One of her direct quotes was: "I cared for your dog all weekend while you obviously had better things to do than be with him." Sending a message like this to someone who is no longer a client is egregious, blatantly unprofessional, and far outside any acceptable standard of business conduct. I paid for boarding services, and she voluntarily took my pet home. If performing standard duties is viewed as a burden or a reason to shame clients, then this is not the appropriate field of work. Considering I was later informed my pet spent most of his time crated, I am left with serious concerns about what "caring for him all weekend" actually meant. ****Pet owners: be cautious about who you entrust with your dog. If you take a trip or use their boarding services, be prepared for it to be weaponized against you later.**** When I reviewed public Google reviews, I found multiple reports describing similar concerns, including pets being kept crated for extended periods without owners being informed. My experience aligns closely with those publicly posted complaints. I am sharing so pet owners know what they are risking. My trust was taken advantage of, my concerns ignored and my pet's care mishandled. NO ONE should discover that when it is already to late.

Brought our dog here to be in a safe environment and in our second week we got a call from the staff about a "broken nail" and that we needed to pick him up because they couldn't stop the bleeding. We arrive to see there is a bandage on him, visibly defeated from whatever happened. The staff couldn't seem to explain what or how it happened. Which is suspect considering they're supposed to be watching. We took him to the vet anyway despite claims the staff made about an "onsite" vet who confirmed the nail story. Our (real) vet explained that this was much more serious than a BROKEN NAIL. He had a deep LACERATION on his paw that required surgery, stitches, 6-8 weeks medication with a bandage change required every 3-4 days until that point. The staff at the daycare (including the owner) lied to us about whatever really happened in an event to curb or downplay this disaster. The owner reached out but was unwilling to help in anyway with the Mountain of bills or even acknowledge that his staff was negligent. To this day we haven't seen the footage and have no idea how he got hurt. I will never go back. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.

We have used her since the first day of bringing our Bernedoodle, Willow, home. We did her 2 week board to train program. Willow came back potty trained, crate trained and with a handful of commands. The fact that Willow was boarded in Angelina's home was very important to me. Now, at 7 months old and almost 60lbs, Willow has hit adolescence and Angelina is guiding our family and Willow through this time. She will pick Willow up and take her on training field trips and I will receive multiple detailed videos and full report. We also do training at my house which is more of Angelina training me to know how to handle Willow's pushback and work with her as her mom. I refer Angelina to everyone I know and will continue to use her as a trainer and boarder for Willow. Our only groomer has been Megan. She takes the time to listen to how I want my dogs to be groomed and even my rescue maltese, who had been extremely abused, actually enjoys going there. Megan took extra care to become his friend and he and she have become good friends. The work areas are clean and without an odor. They have doggie day camp and there are cameras so you can see what is going on at all times. I also appreciate that every year they require proof of vaccinations which is not always the case with other places we had gone to in the past. They keep their boarding areas clean and we were not allowed to bring anything from home that could contain fleas or ticks. Their hours are great (drop off at 8:00 and pickup by 7:00) which was very appreciated when I was working. Even though they were finished by 1:00, it was never a problem if I picked them up at 6:00. I now have 5 dogs and would never hesitate to bring them. If I had only one suggestion, it would be some kind of loyalty club. They used to have one for boarding (not sure if they still do) but it would be wonderful for grooming. After 15 years, it would be nice to receive something back. Perhaps every 10th grooming is free.

She was always excited to go when we pulled up and never hesitated when they came to take her from us. We always felt completely comfortable leaving her in their care. A few weeks ago, we dropped her off on a Thursday for a 10-day stay. The following Tuesday, the owner called me to let me know that she was refusing to get up. He asked if she had recently been showing any stubbornness about going outside. He said she had eaten fine that morning but that he had noticed a decline in her energy. He told me he would keep a close eye on her and call me back with an update. About an hour later, he called again and said that her breathing appeared to be labored and that they recommended she be seen by a veterinarian. They offered to transport her to my vet, even though it was a 28-minute drive from Musbro. I called the vet to give them a heads-up, but after hearing about her symptoms, they recommended that she go straight to an emergency hospital. Once again, Musbro offered to take her wherever I wanted. I chose VEG in Nanuet because it was the closest option. The owner's daughter personally drove our girl there, gave me her personal number so I could reach her directly, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and stayed with her the whole time. Unfortunately, an emergency ultrasound revealed that she had a tumor on her spleen that had ruptured. Sadly, something like this can remain hidden until it's too late, and there was nothing that could be done. We were 14 hours away and would not have made it home in time. Knowing that she wasn't alone means more to us than I can put into words. If I couldn't be there with her at the end, I am so grateful that she had a familiar and caring face by her side. We are absolutely heartbroken to have lost our baby, but we are incredibly grateful for the love, compassion, and quick action Musbro showed our family. I am especially thankful that they recognized the change in her behavior so quickly, got her the care she needed, and helped prevent her from suffering any longer than necessary. I have always recommended Musbro to others, and I will continue to do so. I wouldn't think twice about trusting them in the future. They treated our girl like she was their own, and for that, we will always be grateful. If you are looking for someone to care for your dog when you can't be there, I cannot recommend Musbro highly enough.
