I did use another shop one time and found the service writer MOST helpful, friendly, kind, knowledgeable and to the point. I went back for another repair and found the service writer no longer there. I made an appointment to meet with Mr. Bookheimer who called to confirm and inform me of the documents needed to begin the auto buying journey. Mr. Bookheimer immediately made me feel comfortable on the phone speaking about the circumstances of my credit as well as giving me guidance on factors that could aid in loan approval. When I arrived at New Millennium I was immediately greeted by the team and shown around the vehicles available. After choosing my new love I was painlessly walked through the application process, approved for a loan, and signed all necessary paperwork. The anxiety I had going into this process was immense but by the time I left New Millennium I felt like part of the family. I started out at the…read moreChester location, then moved to Ruther Glen, and I've been loyal enough to still drive about 30 miles to the Ashland location because I genuinely like this company and the quality of their washes. So this review is coming from someone who wants to keep coming back. But this particular location? Whew. Something is going on in that wash tunnel. Everything feels normal when you pull up... and then you enter the wash and get hit with a smell so strong it deserves its own warning label. Rotten eggs doesn't even fully cover it -- it's intense, immediate, and completely unavoidable. I'm talking windows-up, holding-your-breath, questioning-all-your-life-choices level bad. At one point I genuinely wondered if I had made a terrible mistake coming here. And the worst part? You're stuck. You just have to ride it out while your car gets cleaned and your will to live briefly disappears. To be fair, the wash itself does a great job, and I've never had issues with the staff. That's what makes this so frustrating -- the quality is there, but the smell completely takes over the entire experience. As someone who has stuck with Flag Stop through moves and long drives, I really hope this gets addressed because it's the only thing holding this location back. I shouldn't have to mentally prepare myself before going through a car wash. I'll still support them overall, but I am counting down the days until the Flag Stop Car Wash opens in Ruther Glen, so I can go back to a normal, fresh-smelling experience. Fix the smell, and this is easily back to 5 stars. Until then... maybe bring a clothespin for your nose
