Today started off good till I went Ace Hardware to pick up some air filters. I saw that there was a…read moresale on the shelf that said buy 3 get 1 free. But, when I took the filters to the register, I told the cashier about the deal to make sure that I received what was advertised. However, the cashier said that the deal was from last month?! Yet the sale was being advertised on the shelf. So instead of getting a manager and honoring the deal like most stores with good customer service would do, the cashier did not do anything but act like it was my problem. This is not how things are done if you want to keep customers coming back! I've been in customer service for many years and every place I was employed, if a problem ever arose like this, the sale deal would have definitely been honored, period! No questions asked!

I have been to old fashioned hardware stores but nothing like this. They truly have everything. Row after row and multiple floors of stuff (some junk and some antiques). Supposed this place has never had AC - cannot imagine that in July. The topper is that when we walked in their were 7-8 old guys sitting around the main counter shooting the breeze like it was a tavern. Just killing time. Wow what a trip back to another era!
