Bottom Line: I don't have to leave the island! This place is great. The nearest Big Box Home stores are quite a hike. So when I need some bug spray, weed spray, spray paint, camping propane tanks, electrical, plumbing, flag pole, ..... well you get it - they have 80% of the things I need. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Plus they have LOTS of stuff I don't need!! I bought the cutest Starfish Mobile here and some really cute Mermaid decals for my car and for my Tiffany Blue Yeti - which BTW I bought there !!! Bottom Line: I'm so glad this store is here. THE best ace i've EVER been to. You walk in, they ask how they can help, and BAM! they're on it. he's done and you're out!

This store would not accept a return as it is an item that they do not carry. I called customer service and was told that Ace stores are individually owned and I would have to return the item to the store I purchased from. This wouldn't happen at Lowes or Home Depot. Prices are much higher at Ace and I'm not really sure why I shopped there. I won't again. read more

Interesting that 2 out of 5 (including this one) reviews here mention Kelsie by name, and talk about how horrible she is. Used to love this place. Then I had a run in with Kelsie. She's rude and mean. The only thing that can keep you going to a place like this, instead of the big box store, is customer service. Why they keep a grump like Kelsie on board is confusing to me, I won't be back. read more

This is our local hardware store. We live here and, like any home-owner, have to fix things on a regular basis. Unless we need lumber, we go here before we head to Home Depot on Merritt Island. The only thing I fault them for is their PVC parts, twice as much as HD. Everything else is solid, including customer service. Everyone helps out. I show up with the craziest requests (my little projects that I look for solutions to) as well as household stuff. They ALWAYS come through. If they don't have what you need, they will order it for you. The great thing about living on a small island is you can ride your bike to everything you need. I live nearby and zip over to Ace Hardware frequently for odds and ends. They have everything. Literally everything. This place is the Google of hardware. The best thing is the fast, friendly and competent service you receive at every visit. These folks have staffed-up the place and there's always several people available to assist you. They're wizards at making keys, too! If you think young people are lazy and entitled, the young people here will totally change your mind. What a bunch of well-trained, polite and hard-working kids! Get an Ace Rewards Card and save a few bucks, too. read more

Best beachside hardware store! Please never go away or give in to big box hardware. A bicycle's ride away, a hello at the door, and you're never lost. Everyone wants to help you. Plus beachy stuff. Just wish the greenhouse was more cared for. But paint is in well supply and they carry my dog's favorite food - Taste of the Wild. Pet section is very good! read more

This stores one of my favorites because it has everything, except customer service. Well that might not be totally fair. The guys helping on the floor were very nice and knowledgeable. However the cashier, Kelsey, was incredibly rude today. We were in the store three separate times and her attitude got worse and worse. Very disheartening read more

I stopped in today to grab a tv cable connector. I was greeted the minute I stepped foot inside the door. When asked what I was looking for, she knew the aisle of my item immediately and made my visit a speedy one. You have to love it when the employees are friendly and knowledgeable of heir surroundings. Kudos to the crew here. Good service and choice of items --- always! Staff positively interacts with customers, offering advice and assistance. Checking out can be busy, at times, but management always opens a second register and eases the line wait. Only negative is a difficult entryway into their lot.....narrows at access to A1A; can be a challenge to turn in. If given choice, use this Ace location over Cocoa Beach store; superior customer service and inventory selection. read more
