I don't even think they know how functional medicine works?? I got off the phone with Lesa and I'm perplexed as to what they are doing and what type of business this is? I gave all my symptoms and concerns and she referred me to a mindfulness coach & they refused to see me; saying they don't think they can help. I'm pretty sure a mindfulness coach isn't going to cure me of hormone imbalance, potential mold toxicity, potential parasites, gut imbalances, allergens, etc. I need testing done for those things. They refused to see me, because I told her my psychological symptoms in relation to my physical symptoms! When the body is chronically inflamed there are going to be psychological symptoms ‍ Lesa said that psych problems can cause physical health problems.....obviously?!! & while this is true in certain cases (mental illness can rear it's ugly head in many ways, IBS, Chronic nausea, dry mouth, even infertility and so on); this is not my case. I know my body. She said that many of their clients treated their brain first and didn't end up needing the testing. I'm not sure how seeing a mindfulness coach can starve parasites, cure celiac, treat mold poisoning and maybe even reverse cancer. But ok! I could have just gone back to a western doctor to be told this considering I, along with everyone else I know have been gaslit our entire lives by them. It's ironic that that they talk about exactly this on their website... She was so misinformed; on top of this whole process costing thousands and thousands of dollars. This place changes lives...can not recommend enough! The experience from start to finish is filled with help and support.

Where to begin. I went into this with Dr Borkowski with a positive mindset and thousands of dollars hoping to really be helped and unfortunately any issues I came in with were made worse. First of all I should never have been accepted into their program. That was the first big mistake made by this center. As a person who weighs very little to begin with and then told I had sensitivities to about 100 foods and allergies to 10 of 15 tested I was left with very few foods to eat (maybe 5, if that). Add on the high histamine foods I was not allowed to eat either I was honestly left with very few options. So as a person who is not only very small to begin with and had not eaten red meat in over 13 years and just recently started back with chicken, turkey, fish (with the 30 day protocol/plan I was only able to eat chicken because turkey and fish etc was considered high histamine and a food I couldn't eat) I was again left with foods I've never eaten before like arugula, squash, bison, rabbit etc. Now let's discuss supplements. Wow. I was given a list of at least 15+ that they wanted me to purchase for hundreds of dollars. I only bought a handful but they all caused me horrible issues that she often laughed off as my anxiety (because she knew I had a diagnosis of ptsd). My internal doctor, gi doctor and allergist all told me after this 30 day plan when I explained how I've had terrible symptoms (weight loss, terrible 8-12 hour a day painful bloating, diarrhea after every single meal) and me removing myself from this nightmare that all her supplements "exasperated my original issue" and they all said to stop consuming the supplements immediately. I did this 30 day program the month of July. I went into ketosis, starvation mode and lost approx 20+ pounds too quickly by most likely consuming around 400 calories a day, barely any fat etc. Again, for someone who weighs very little to begin with and finds out there's all these "food sensitivities" and "allergies" and the foods become forbidden I was entering starvation mode. Thousands of dollars for a program and I was never told how to reintroduce foods. I was never monitored properly for my weight. People pay thousands for this information, thats why they go here. And so did I but I never received it. There was no guidance, at all. There is a technique, a special way of bringing back in the foods after the 30 days. I remember reading on a paper that I could reintroduce carrots. I had to ask well what do I do? How many? How often? What if it bothers me? People write books, have websites on ways to carefully reintroduce foods and i had to pretty much beg her (someone I was paying to give me this info) in an email to send me a plan/an outline of how to do it. I never received it. Waste of thousands. After the program I emailed the center and requested direct contact info for the owner Dr Sexton. I was told "Unfortunately, Dr Sexton is not available for contact." What?? The owner isn't available for contact to hear concerns? If that isn't the sketchiest response ever and a red flag I don't know what is. Shouldn't we be able to speak with the owner of a wellness center that we payed thousands of dollars to? Again, this place should have told me from the start based on my weight and the fact that I had not been eating meat for 13 years that this program was NOT for me. Turn me down. Don't take my thousands and put me into the worst physical condition I had ever been in. They're clearly all about the money. And to make matters worse I heard that Dr Sexton worked in the past alongside a nutritionist to help patients with their food reintroduction and for nutritional support throughout their journey. Again, I paid thousands and received none of this. So moral of the story here is be careful. Trust it with a grain of salt. It's a true gamble not only with thousands of your dollars but a gamble with your health as my health deteriorated very quickly. read more

I saw a review in the header where someone called them a scammer. I think I would believe that. I called the other day desperately looking for help and wanting very much to trust in someone. I asked a bunch of questions. A lot came down to questions and cost with testing. She said that the doctor will perform lots of different types of tests 4 very good reasons of course. But she said that they are not on anybody's insurance. I told her that the doctor I am working with can probably order most all of the test that they want to order and that it would be covered on my insurance. All of a sudden her demeanor changed. She said they don't do it that way. It looks like they want all the money for themselves. I don't think that's right. If people can do tests and get them covered on insurance then why not let them? She said that there are probably other places out there that will allow me to do that. I said yes and hung up. read more

Dont believe all the good reviews. Total scammer place. I spent $375 for 1st visit which was basically talking and listening and ordering blood test. Looking at all good reviews, I went to this place desperately in need of someone who can help me. So expensive, and if you call to reschedule 24 hrs before, they will charge you the cost of visit $275. Are you kidding me? They give you a sheet of paper saying that you have to cancel 48 hrs before, and donot tell you that you will be charged. And then they go on about their policies and how they cant change it..like its a federal law. So dumb, you are ready to let go of patients just because someone calls to reschedule 24 hrs before. Let me start by saying at first I felt okay about the visits I had. But after a while it was all about the money. You couldn't ask anything unless it was built into the time frame. If you were running five min. late you were charged, but they could run five min. late. Dr. Sexton was very defensive when I asked him questions and sometimes would not answer me saying I would need to make an appointment with the nutritionist and that would cost extra money.
