Dr. Ettessam is a con artist. He worked on my teeth and claimed I needed 12 fillings and 2 root canals and did them within 3 days. This was false. I got 2 abscesses because of his sloppy work that he did for insurance money. And I am still to this day dealing with the pain. Find another doctor. This is the wrong place. When o went to go see another dentist because of how much pain I was in, thinking I needed my wisdom teeth out he did confirm that the pain wasn't from my wisdom teeth but the faulty work from dr etessam. read more

Clean, beautiful office with large flat screen TVs in each cubby. Like the Doc and staff. Some challenges though: 1. Need music in the waiting area, too quiet and lack of privacy for patients and staff. 2. Please keep ALL staff personal conversations out of our ears please. Not professional. 3. They make you watch information videos. Too many videos to watch at the chair. How about having us watch it while we are in the waiting room? Waited there for over 20 minutes doing nothing. Then after I saw the Doc, he wanted to show me another video about crooked teeth. I declined, told him I was videoed out. 3. Told me to be there 845 to fill out papers as a new patient, the door was locked. Not a good first impression. 4. Could the Doc take off his face mask so I can see his face when he speaks to me? Just once I want to know who is speaking to me. (He did this to my hubby too, annoying) 5. Over and over they confirmed my first visit would be one hour. I had to go to work. NEVER, EVER USE Dr. Etessam !! This office is the most unsanitary place that I have EVER been to for a DENTIST OFC ! Within 3 DAYS I had a very severe gum infection and he kept ignoring it. His tech saw how bad it was and she even said it needed to be seen. He REFUSED to put me on antibiotics. Thankfully I had my own and started taking them, if I hadn't most likely I would have lost my teeth due to bone infection and this was verified by 2 other dentists that I had gone to during the course of my treatment w Dr. Etessam. I not only went to these other dentists to ask them to take over my tx but to document the horror of what I was going thru with this ofc. They BOTH REFUSED due to the NEGLECTFUL CONDITIONS and they didn't want to get involved w another dentists horrid, unethical, damaging work. I was actually told They wouldn't touch me because they were AFRAID TO LOOSE THEIR LICENSES if they got involved w the mess he created. I had no choice but to return to Dr. Etessam's ofc to have him TRY TO finish what he started which was A VERY BIG MISTAKE !! I had lost a front tooth veneer so this was done just AFTER my thyroid surgery starting Apr 12, 16 which was caused due to being dx with toxic goiter w multi nodules. They tested to be malignant. This was caused from a poor install of an brand new ac back Aug 2013 by Pure Air, Naples. My thyroid surgeon was afraid that I might swallow a temp during surgery so I had to wait until after surgery to do the crown work. I had found this dentist on Angies List and THANKFULLY I did because they REFUNDED MY $500 FOR A PORCELEON CROWN BUT THE PERMANENT DAMAGE I HAVE WILL COST THOUSANDS TO FIX !! 1st filled out my paperwork online and there is a MAJOR HIPPA VIOLATION to begin with which I tried bringing to the attention of Jennifer the Ofc Mgr. Who is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She THINKS she knows FL LAWS but she knows NOTHING AT ALL!! They inc in the online paperwork all together that you MUST give medical authorization and auth to give Naples Dental Art Center permission to use your likeness on social media, in pics etc. The 2 DO NOT BELONG IN THE SAME CATAGORY OF AUTH AT ALL AND ARE A SEPERATE ISSUE !! I've never had a dentist ofc take so many digital pics of my mouth in my life. The tech shoved this hard plastic mouth guard in my mouth that was way too big and it split my lip. I kept telling her it hurt my jaw and my mouth but she didn't care, she kept snapping away. I was used over and over. I also never actually saw her take it out of a sealed plastic wrap either, just like nothing else there that was not sanitary. These guards come in different sizes. It seems this ofc doesn't realize this and has one sz fits all which just isn't the case. When a mold or impression is taken you make sure you have it EXACTLY how you want the solid form BEFORE you take the mold. NOT THESE MORONS. I asked them to make sure to remove all of the extra cement from around the original tooth that they were going to be making the crown for that the veneer came off of. I would come to hear these next words for the next 3 wks and haunt me "Don't worry its only a temp". The dentist shaves down my original tooth and preps the area to take on the temp. They never removed the extra cement, the temp came out 1/2 size wider than it should have of the orig tooth but I don't know this until AFTER its in my mouth and I'm in my truck. The tech NOT the dentist was SHOVING the temp into my mouth, into the space and it hurt. I raised my hand to tell her to stop but she continued. Finally finished, looking at the 1st temp says it looks good. I asked for a mirror does NOT have one ! How can you NOT have a mirror ? She says "oh btw your tooth is going to be short because your original tooth was short" I said why didn't you use the mold of my other front tooth which is identical size then or make one of proper size ? no response. The dentist NEVER comes to look at it. I can already feel the pressure on the other teeth around it and asked her why she was having to force the tooth in place, that should not have happened. She said everything was fine. "don't worry its only a temp". She tells me the crown will be in 2 weeks. ok I can deal with a shorter tooth til then. I get out to my suv, look in the mirror and am livid. My temp is a piece of crap. is way too wide, rough, does not meet my gum line, yes too short. I call the office back to let them know what I see and no wonder they couldn't find a mirror. With this tooth as it is TEMP OR NOT my teeth will move in a 2 wk period. Anyone who has had dental work knows this ! Within 3 days my gums were EXTREMELY INFECTED. The dentist didn't care, told me If he knew I was a difficult pt he wouldn't have taken me on. DIFFICULT? I just had thyroid sx no issues. He goes on to say all pts handle dental work diff and this was VERY NORMAL! Is he blind? I went through 5 dentists in Naples before I found Dr. Etessam. I have had dental issues in the past and my anxiety level is off the charts when I sit in a dentist chair. Dr. Etessam is very gentle and caring, he never rushes and makes sure I am comfortable before he dose any work. He is always checking with me during the procedures he performs and gives me time to regroup. He clearly cares about his patients comfort and dental health. I actually enjoy a quite office, if I need noise I can always turn on my tunes and put my earbuds in. I hate sitting in a waiting room being forced to listen to music that I don't like. Years ago, I had CCPS dental insurance and I went to another local dentist for a scheduled appointment for my 5 year old. I was told they no longer accept our insurance. I explained that it didn't expire for several months, but the doctor wouldn't hear my statement and was very rude. I've never forgotten the way my little girl and I felt at the time. It wasn't anything we had done but her office made changes and didn't notify their patients. We found Dr. Etessam soon after and now we have been patients for over 20 years. Dr Etessam is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He has always helped my husband quickly when he drops in unexpectedly for pain and/or treatment. He has treated my children from adolescents and now through their adulthood. The staff have always been polite and helpful to any questions we have regarding billing, regular routine treatment, or Invisalign treatment. They remind you of your appointment via text, email, or phone...which is helpful for our busy schedule. Dr. Etessam and his staff truly cares about his patients. I was very pleased with both the office and the staff. I walked in with pain and discomfort that was quickly treated by Dr. Eetessam. Also, as he was working on my teeth, he was educating me along the way. As a side note, the office staff was super. They made me laugh and appeased me throughout the treatment. As a side note, I had Dr. Eetessam give me some Botox around my eyes and in between my brows!!! IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!! The office manager held my hand the whole way through! This Dr. made false claims to my insurance and did such a poor job and my son and I fillings that I had to have two other Endodontics fix the work he did costing thousands of extra dollars. I also took pictures of his dirty office. My son ended up having to have his teeth capped by a specialist. Not only did he do a poor job on my root canal I had to have it redone by an Endodontic due that he broke two instruments off, not disclosing he done so and a entire root untreated. read more

Dr. Etessam has been my dentist since 2004 and I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Etessam and his staff are always professional, courteous and friendly. I am always amazed at how he continues to provide the most up to date technology in dentistry. When I needed a crown he had the technology to create crown while I waited instead of waiting 2 weeks. I got my invisilign treatment here a while back and was very happy with it. The doctor is great but staff is unpleasant most times, having personal conversations, ignoring patients and when you ask them something they respond with an attitude. I took time of from work to come in for a short visit which they said will take half hour, was there early before they even open and didn't leave until 10:30. Everyone takes their sweet time and is not considering that people have jobs and need to get things done. As i said, they were great when i started coming here and have been happy with the treatments i got so far but lately it seems difficult to get someone to be polite and most important appreciate your business. read more

Seriously? My worst dental experience in 52 yrs. Im came there with a Groupon coupon for a decent-priced cleaning. As I had no problems, & just wanted a maintenance cleaning as my last dental visit was less than a yr ago, I had no reason to believe they would not honor their coupon. And that's the catch; if you use Groupon, it does not clearly state you may NOT qualify for the cleaning even after you pre-pay for it using Groupon. What the Dentist did to me(and from what the reviews show, to others using Groupon as well), was to seemingly use some bogus diagnosis to first get me to purchase some addional services first. My 49$ trip was instantly turned into $995 even tho I had NO cavities or plaque build up(how much plaque can one have if they were just at the dentist less than 1 yr ago, and brush their teeth 3 times a day?!). The coupon says they will refund the money if they cant service you, but that's not true. I asked and was refused, so after I threatened to report them to Groupon, they reluctantly gave me a partial cleaning. I must say partial because it lasted all of 2 minutes,not even getting the full tooth from top to bottom,& just a cursory touch to basically say now you cant complain you didn't get your cleaning. I left the office with grit in my mouth, feeling like I didn't even have a cleaning, & needless to say, immediately reported them to Groupon. I will also say that after reading some of the other reviews, I must concur that staff can be rude & condescending when you question something, you are literally left a prisoner in the chair as u are forced to watched videos about dental health as if you are an ill-informed child, the dentist keeps a mask on as if he is trying to hide his identity, the staff makes their personal conversations too loud(I heard the dentist say that if someone cant speak the language they should leave the country!), they ask for clients social security number (for a dental cleaning?! Awesome!!!!!The staff is very kind, they are very gentile and very professional, the place is very modern they have plasmas TVs in each room, I went over there because I bough a groupon deal. at the beginning I was quite skeptical about this place, I am the type of person that doesn't like to visit the dentist (well I guess nobody likes to) but the dentist is extremely agreeable and decent I even forgot that I was in the dental office I guess is because the environment is very quiet and peaceful , they show me many videos that were very instructive, they give me a very detail analysis of my mouth and told me the procedures that have to be done in order to avoid a serial of problems in the future,I do prefer and i like that !!! they told me whatever i need in order to prevent more issues, they even show me very specific pictures of my mouth where I could see all my teeth.I was amaze of the technology, i have periodontal disease is not something that i feel proud of saying but i feel that i am in better hands right now I feel so much bless and I will definitely going back to continue with my treatment, God bless all of you read more
