Went in to buy a truck. Ready to purchase. Service manager said they didn't do the oil change. There was an issue with a tire so it needs 3 other new ones and it recently had a leak that was fixed and needs a fuel filter. Told the used sales manager we'd take it for the price it's listed out the door. He looked at us and said "if you can't afford it you can just leave". His name is Rob Drake. I was definitely lucky that out of all of the dealerships in the country that had the Audi that I was looking for, Loves Park was less than 2 hours from me. During this chip shortage and low inventory for new cars that was a huge blessing. I found the car I liked on Car Gurus and my wife called (while I was working) and got all the answers she needed and which lead to our trip to Loves Park. I was very thankful that not only did Charlie schedule an appointment for us later that evening, but when we said that we were interested in the car we immediately received pictures and the car was taken off of the showroom floor and held for us. Financing and administration went very fast with Loves Park and Charlie, along with Jim from financing were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the car and the dynamics of buying from out of my county. I had one hold-up from my insurance company which was understandable, but after receiving the necessary docs from the insurance company the deal was done right away and I was able to pick the truck up at my earliest availability, Charlie walked me through the car and even answered questions regarding my wife's Audi that she purchased from another dealership. I am an Audi owner of close to 30 years and currently have 5 Audis in my immediate family. One of those Audis is housed in Rockford, Illinois. It has been serviced there once since it is new and came from another store. The car has a complete service agreement which is paid to Audi so there is coverage wherever it goes for service. Today I brought the car in for a simple car wash and was refused because it was not purchased at Napleton or was being serviced today. I find this mentality so short sighted given the fact that the car is leased and could be returned in excellent condition and be of value to this dealer who has few car to choose from since its such a small store. Audi can't afford to support such a lame operation such as Napleton in Loves Park. I'm sure Rupert Stadler would be extremely disappointed that a life long customer or a newly minted one was treated so shabbily as I was. I'll be happy to ship my 82 year old mother's new Audi back to The Exchange in Highland Park any day before Napleton will ever touch another one of my family's Audis! read more

I made contact with Charlie after inquiring online about an Audi vehicle at his location. Charlie was very knowledgeable about the vehicle even though it was not his brand. I setup an appointment short notice. Charlie was accommodating. In the process, he always answered the phone and responded quickly to my text messages. Unfortunately the vehicle sold very quickly. I never made it to the dealership. Charlie provided me a courtesy call letting me know the vehicle sold which saved me an hour drive in the cold. He also provided me information about similar vehicles which I had never considered previously in my car search that peaked my curiosity. I purchased a vehicle from a another dealership soon there after. I notified Charlie of this. He responded with a congratulatory message. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. The sales manager, Tim Hayes, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was told one thing and when we went in to sign the papers, the numbers changed and Tim tried to make excuses why. He should be working at Hyundai not Audi as he does not have people skills. read more
