It's my pleasure to write a review for Narmin. She is really an amazing photographer. My daughter 'Deem' photo session with Narmin was on 29 June 2019 at morning, In the south loop in Chicago. We met her me and my wife 'Reem' and the baby at the entrance, she was really kind and great us in a nice way. The photo-session was quiet long because my daughter was uncooperative and she was crying all the time, nevertheless, Narmin was very good and skilled in soothing Deem. She chooses a variety of baby photo props with warm, nice colors for baby girl and she took amazing photo shoots for Deem!! Furthermore, she take care of small details and choose good baby positions; she had tried many positions and angles and choose the best for my little one. At the end of the session Narmin promised that she will finish my baby's photos after 3 weeks and she did. I was impressed and extremely happy when I saw my baby's photos. Although my baby was uncooperative, Narmin's work was outstanding. I couldn't imagine how beautiful the photos will be. I strongly recommend Narmin because she is a person who can trust, she is on time, a kind and very cooperative with babies. Also, she is a highly skilled photographer and capture amazing photos. I'm not normally one to write reviews but I felt more than compelled to write a review on Narmin Nasir photography. After anxiously scrambling to find a photographer on short notice, I felt extremely relieved when Narmin responded to my inquiry on her website within the next day informing that she would be able to fit us in that following week. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her studio was immaculately clean and she was very gentle and patient with my son. You can tell she loves what she does because even through the challenges of him becoming pretty fussy halfway through the shoot, she still managed to make sure we got all great shots in each of the looks I told her I wanted. Needless to say it was a very pleasant experience, and most importantly my sons pictures and album turned out amazing! ( Almost forgot to mention, I can sometimes be a drab when it comes to deadlines and when I failed to download my sons pictures within the given time frame, she even resent my photos after reaching out to her long after our shoot ( 4months after to be exact! We found Narmin after we did some research for Chicago newborn photographers and we decided to go with Narmin initially because of her portfolio and because I liked the style of her pictures. She responded the same day and then we had a phone call few days later after that. Narmin was super nice with me on the phone when we discussed my due date and that I would book a place one week after the due date. I also asked Narmin if we could repeat some of the sets that she used on some of her photos with newborns and she advised that we will do that, but also advised that she wants to try something different as well. So we agreed on 2 sets that I initially wanted to have and 2 sets that she would come up herself. Needless to say that all of the sets were awesome and the pictures came up amazing! As for the session itself, she was so patient with my baby boy - he was naughty at times and she took her time and was very gentle with him. I just sat there and observed!:) It took about 3 hours and was worth every minute of it! She was always on time with the pictures after, never late and was super nice all the way through. I was impressed with Narmin's work posted on Instagram and then completely AMAZED with the photos she took of my newborn twins! From the beginning Narmin was responsive and professional; anytime I reached out with questions she responded promptly. During the photoshoot she had patience and a gentle touch with my twins. I provided her with some very general ideas for the session but trusted her creativity and expertise to set up the session. And all of the photos were absolutely beautiful! It was so nice to be able to put complete trust in Narmin and she delivered! We were so impressed with the photos that we purchased three photo albums (two for grandparents and one for us). The turnaround time to get the albums was super quick and again we were not let down. The photo album quality is exceptional and Narmin organized the photos within the album beautifully. I texted Narmin after I gave the birth and thought it would be too late to accommodate us for a newborn photo session. She, however was so responsive and did everything she could to accept us. She worked on the weekend for us and did an amazing job. She was always smiling throughout our session and before that, she was always responsive. She really loves her job and it's seen that she is all into it. She carefully chose all the set ups that she thought would be ideal for our session and listened to my wishes too. I wanted something similar from one of her pictures and she did that. During the session we felt very comfortable with her. She was very gentle with the baby and considered her safety as the priority. She never put her in a position that would be uncomfortable to her. Our baby was very fussy and she was soooo patient. It took us more time than we anticipated in the beginning, because of the baby being fussy, but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for newborn photo sessions. I just recently had a photoshoot for my newborn with Narmin and I loved it. She discussed every detail with me beforehand and I appreciate it. I loved some of the backgrounds and set ups with poses from her portfolio which I really wanted to do with my son and she was advising me on some of the details - for example some set ups and backgrounds are better suited for newborn girls, rather than boys, etc. She also came back with what she thinks would be the best my newborn, i.e. which set ups and backgrounds. During the session, Narmin was very calm and patient with my son and oh gosh was my son crying all the time. She is a very good person to be around too and I felt very welcoming with her. We received our pictures on time as promised and we loved them! I now have something which I will cherish for the rest of my life, those pictures will stay with me forever! read more

I really loved Narmin's work when I saw her portfolio on her website so I emailed her and asked about some other details about the photoshoot and how it's all going to go (we were having newborn photoshoot). She was really sweet and nice from the start, congratulating me on pregnancy and asking me how am I doing (which was really nice of her). During the photoshoot, she was already prepared when we arrived and she made sure that the baby is very comfortable in every pose. She thought about safety of the child above anything else. We had about 4 sets and all those sets were so wonderful in the end. We LOVE these pictures!! My whole family is now cherishing these pictures of my little one. Narmin is amazing! We just received out photos and we couldn't be happier. We had such a good experience with her. During the session we never felt rushed and were so comfortable her taking the control of everything. She also listened to our ideas throughout the session too. My husband wanted to try some accessories on our daughter and she obliged without hesitation. She was very patient not only with our daughter, but with us, parents, as well! We had a great photo session with Narmin Nasir. She was so amazing with our baby, so patient and loving. She was very patient with our baby and we are absolutely delighted with the pictures that were sent to us. We had about 3 hours session and you can imagine how baby becomes naughty sometimes, so Narmin managed everything so well, that we really felt relaxed with her. She was also very safe with our baby and she assured and proved us that the safety of the baby was her priority. She made sure that all the poses our baby was in were safe for him. After looking for multiple New Born Photographers, we decided to go with Narmin Nasir Photography as we found her photos beautiful and genuine. Her newborn packages of 50+ download images and 15 professionally edit images were priceless photos of our baby. Narmin's studio was located in the basement, and upon initial impression, everything was clean and organized. She was also careful during COVID such as washing hands prior to touching baby, wearing masks, and gloves. Additionally, she provided drinks and snacks, given that the photo shoot took a couple of hours. Her packages could be expensive to some, but we thought it was worth it compared to other photographers out there for the amount of photos we received. No regrets here! read more

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience at Narmin Nassir Photography. We unfortunately had to cancel my daughters newborn shoot b/c of the pandemic. We ultimately decided to do a 1 year birthday shoot instead. Leading up to the shoot i worked closely with Narmin to decide on theme etc she was awesome and came up with phenomenal ideas and said don't worry about anything all you need to come to the shoot with is the cake you want to smash for the session. She has a magic way with babies to get the best out of them and it was well worth the wait b/c the pictures came out magical and will be constant memories of my daughter for her 1st birthday. A friend of mine used Narmin to take pictures of her baby and it came out very pretty nice! So I decide to use her for my baby's picture. At first I was hesitate because she didn't have much reviews. I'm that kind of person that likes to research before I buy or use any kind service. My friend's picture came out nice what can go wrong right. So I went with her. I just love my new photos of my little one! I received them two days ago and wanted to show an appreciation here. Narmin did an amazing job and I loved her set ups so much, she is very talented in coming up with those compositions. She always knew what to do throughout the session and guided us all along. Narmin did a wonderful job photographing our 2-week-old baby. She accommodated all of our preferences while also adding her own creative touches and setups. In spite of COVID, we felt safe having the photographs taken back in November as her studio was extremely clean and she wore a mask the entire time. Amazing photographer. She was very patient and calm with the newborn and I am so happy that we chose her. I now look at the photograph of me with my baby and it is one of the best pictures I have. Her temporary studio is clean and was all prepared when we showed up - the set ups and everything else. Narmin is simply THE BEST !!! She really is an expert at what she does. My husband and I are very happy with the pictures and loved the fact that she is professional. She took such a great care of our baby during the photoshoot. Narmin not only took perfect pictures but was friendly, compassionate and so knowledgeable.
