I did a boudoir shoot for my husband on my birthday. It was literally the BEST time. The package I bought came with hair and makeup. This artist y'all! Phenomenal. The first artist to take off my lipstick and say "your bare lips are so beautiful I don't want to put lipstick on and hide them" every other makeup artist just does what you say but she listens to what you want then also applies her artist expertise. What an amazing experience!!!! I'm getting married and wanted to surprise my fiancé (husband this weekend!) with boudoir shots. I spent time looking around on Yelp and landed on Revealed because of the reviews and, honestly, it looked comfortable and classy. Every other studio I talked to had a man doing the photos and I just wasn't comfortable with that. Maggie and Kelly were SO comfortable to be around for this type of adventure! I had no qualms or hesitations because they made everything so easy! They put my outfits together and were so encouraging and made me feel beautiful! They told me what to do, how to stand, where to go - I didn't have to think! Just followed their direction! And the outcome is AMAZING! I really can't believe its me... I never have seen myself that way, but here I am looking at pictures of what is definitely me! The experience was so worth it! It was a little expensive, but I don't think I'll ever regret spending the money! They spent almost a full day with me with the shoot, and then going over the photos took a while - and the end result. The photos were gorgeous just with lighting and color and all the creative angles. And the photo book I got is such great quality and will be something I know my husband and I will both treasure! This is my second boudoir photo shoot with Maggie & Kelly. My first was two years ago, and I haven't stopped talking about them since. I did a bunch of research on boudoir around Chicago and these ladies, by far, made me feel the most comfortable. It was SO fun and most importantly, empowering. Kelly and Maggie are your hype women and your biggest fans. They give you tips leading up to the big day. Then, you show up at this lovely studio, get a glass of Champagne and whatever kinda music you wish as you get your hair and makeup done and Kelly/Maggie chat with you about any expectations for the shoot, poses you want, vibes etc, as well as just chatting about life and getting really comfortable. Kelly and Maggie feel like your best friends instantly. They're so relatable, sweet and fun, and also just so dang talented. They're artists through and through as is so evident through they photos you end up with. They're breathtakingly gorgeous, artsy, and basically capture you in the most beautiful light. I love looking at my photos and am so thankful to have these for the rest of my life. It was the ultimate self-care gift for myself. If I could go back and do my boudoir session all over again, I would do it in a heart beat. I have never felt so pampered and empowered in my life. I do not kid when I say the whole experience was a life changing moment for me. Maggie and Kelly gave me such confidence in my body and more importantly, myself as a person. I loved how I did not have to worry about a thing from the moment I first arrived at the studio until the end of my shoot. When I walked into the studio, champagne was put into my hand to calm my nerves and make me feel like I was with the girls. I then had a full-blown glam session with getting my hair and make-up done by one of Kelly and Maggie's closet friends. I absolutely LOVED my make-up artist. She was so talented, sweet, and calming even though I felt nervous about my shoot and how I would look. The one thing I loved about my hair and make-up is that the artist made me look like MYSELF, just a little done-up. I felt like myself, which was important to me and why I was doing this session in the first place. Overall, I loved how comfortable I felt with Maggie and Kelly. I felt like a fish out of water during my first few shots, but they helped me find my comfort zone and inner "model." During my shoot, I felt like I was with two old high school girlfriends that I have known forever and kind of didn't want to stop it because it was so much fun! I know I could not have done this type of shoot if it was not with Maggie and Kelly. These two amazing women have a special talent. They really do. When I saw samples of my shots during the shoot, I stopped in awe thinking to myself: "Wow. I am beautiful in my own way. I am one hell of a woman!" Let me start by saying I am basically like a boy. I am the furthest thing from sexy you could possibly imagine. I thought boudoir photos would be a great ( and most very unexpected) surprise to give to my fiance on our wedding day. So, I get the idea in my head, and I start researching. I found Laurie and Maggie online, liked their work and reviews, so I called. I'm already nervous, I mean, what do I even say? What do I ask? I talked to Maggie and instantly felt more comfortable. She was so sweet, and also so excited for me- genuinely- for wanting to do this. So I set the appointment for the shoot. I was so nervous. It was so out of my element. Let me just tell you I have recommended these girls to every female I have come across since I did the shoot. The shoot itself was actually... fun! They did my hair and makeup, and they had music playing, and we just talked, joked around, picked out my outfits... just like getting ready for a night out with the girls. I felt at ease right away. When it was time "to start," I started freaking out again. Five mins in, I was a modeling hero. They encouraged me, without making me feel stupid. They made me laugh. They made me feel so sexy. They are both so professional, but yet I felt like I was with my girlfriends. When the photos were ready (which were amazing, by the way, I can't believe that was me!!!), they helped me pick out the best ones. They were honest, but kind. My experience with Revealed Studios is one I will never forget! I decided to take boudoir photos as a wedding gift for my future husband. I knew he would love it and be very surprised! Laurie is the photographer for my wedding and I already knew she was an amazing photographer and after working with Maggie, I found out how much they complement one another! Getting Ready: They organized a wonderful hair stylist/makeup artist to make me look fabulous and gain the confidence I needed for the photo shoot! Outfits: They were so patient with me as I brought a bag full of items including lingerie, heels, a pile of necklaces, etc. They helped me pick out the best outfits as I was a bit confused on which ones to wear. They knew which ones would look awesome and so I got dressed... The Shoot: Oh man, was I new at this whole thing. They were so sweet, encouraging and helpful the entire shoot. They helped pose me in the most flattering poses without making me feel silly! I felt so beautiful the entire shoot. Changing into different outfits was so much fun and brought out a new attitude with each one. There were definitely moments to laugh at and they of course laughed along with me which helped me relax. They showed me a couple of photos right off the bat so I could see how wonderful they were going to be! The Book: The album I received is stunning! The layout is beautiful and so are the photos! They turned out awesome! A wonderful mix between sultry, romantic, and playful (some of my favorites)! Obviously a Boudoir photoshoot is out of almost everyone's comfort zone but wow these gals were amazing. Laurie and Maggie were an amazing duo, they leave you wishing you had their job! They were very professional and prompt with communication prior to the shoot and with editing of the photobook after the shoot. The actual day of the shoot they have their own makeup/hairstyle artist, forgive me I forgot her name, she was just as bubbly as the dynamic duo and did a great job. If I didn't already have someone booked for my wedding I probably would've booked her then and there. I will say I have naturally curly hair that my husband loves and she was able to work with it and make me feel like a true diva (which my own wedding stylist couldn't do)! The shoot yes was awkward at first but they are so great at being like your girlfriends you are playing dress up for playing music and helping you strut your stuff. Yes it is an investment but my husband was completely shocked and pleasantly surprised and if anyone is even considering it I would recommend Laurie and Maggie 110%. SO go have some fun and do this for you, they will be pictures that you will be proud to show off to your man ;) PS I found out after the fact that Maggie also does wedding photography, which i got to see some of her work from a friend of mines who hired her and again if I didn't already have someone booked she would've been a great contender as well, the pictures were beautiful! read more

I decided to give my future husband a boudoir album as a wedding present, and while researching different studios I came upon Revealed. Their photos were stunning and classy, which was just the vibe I wanted for my shoot! After scheduling on a Saturday morning with Laurie and Maggie, the photo session started off with hair and makeup by a professional artist. Before my shoot, I had the option of sending some looks and poses that I liked to Laurie and Maggie beforehand, and they showed the pictures to my makeup artist so she knew the kind of look I wanted: they totally pulled it off, and it was even better than I hoped! I felt beautiful and transformed. Then, Laurie and Maggie helped me choose from the outfits I had brought and the order we would shoot them in.
