    Shish Tawooq Chicken Meal

Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 So this place was just ok, as far as Greek food goes this was a different kind of Greek food, a little bit heavier on the spices, and not as "light" as were used to. That being said, I had the grilled chicken dinner shown below, husband had the gyro meat dinner, kids had the beef kebabs. Unanimously all the flavors and meals were "just ok". The service was slow but pleasant, and the restaurant itself is a little rundown, which is not a bad thing but in this case it could use a little update.

Beef gyro meal. Not a gyro sandwich, but meat on rice.

I keep wanting to try other things but the chicken shawarma is so delicious I just keep going back for it! The pickles, the garlic sauce, the spices, all drool worthy. I did have the shawarma plate once and that is amazing as well; I'm normally not a rice fan but love Narrows Gyros rice. And the hummus is wonderful!

Wow oh wow this was so amazing it felt like a mother's love cooked it Such a generous helping, enough salad to go with every bite! Delicious vinaigrette salad dressing too. I also love the 8 olives that came with my plate, a good palette refresher. Not pictured is the gyro which was so amazing, the best gyro me and my fiancé ever tried! I love all the seasoning and the sauce that came with the kubeh paired together really well; like a mild oil and balsamic flavor almost. The seasoning on the fries, the plating, the desert section, the atmosphere, the service, all so divine. Definitely try this spot out!

Got beef shawarma plate. That's the worst plate I ever got from this place. Beef was hard to chew. No salad dressing. Rice had no flavor. $20 wasn't worth it !

Inside ready to place an order !!!

I love the shawarma sandwiches! If I want leftovers I'll order the shawarma plate. The grape leaves are good too. You might have to wait a bit because the food is cooked when you order it. Keep that in mind and bring your patience in exchange for really good food!

After a long 12 hour shift, I was craving some Greek food, you know a big plate with everything, and pita bread. I usually go to a place about a block from here but the reviews looked good I figured hey let's try it. I order two of the most expensive plates on the menu, two beef kebob plates. They come with rice, beef kebob, salad, and HUMMUS. Much to my surprise when I get home is that there was no pita anywhere. I called them back, but they told me the kebob plate does not include pita and they're separate. Well buddy, you gave me hummus and nothing to dip it with... and did not tell me that pita was NOT included. I am tired of restaurants nickel and diming us over cheap bread. Buddy, give me the pita. I hope you enjoy saving your .25 cents, because I will not be coming back, I will continue to go to the Greek place a block away that not only has great food, they provide you with a lot of pita bread with their kebob plates.

A secret star in UP. Great Greek cuisine and right smack in the middle of where most of us pass daily. A must stop.

Amazing! This is our new weekend habit! Just amazing! We would drive down from Seattle just to get their falafal sandwiches and Greek fries.

Indoor seating is limited but this place mostly does take out. Food is fresh and delicious, my husband won't eat anyone else's gyros.

I tried the bread and the hinkali, and both were outstanding. The bread was perfectly baked--crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The hinkali were delicious, juicy, and full of flavor with a great texture. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and prepared with attention. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. Service was quick, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting.

I walked out hand-released into a new dimension of flavor, texture, and spiritual clarity. The moment you enter, the scent alone performs a full-body hand release on your soul. Cardamom, sesame, and dreams swirl in the air like edible incense. The décor? A cozy blend of Anatolian charm and deli swagger. I felt like I'd been hand-released from Seattle drizzle into Istanbul sunshine. Let's talk food: * The simit? A sesame-crusted halo of joy. One bite and I hand-released my skepticism about circular carbs. * The börek? Layers of pastry so delicate, I whispered "hand release" with every chew. * The lamb pide? A canoe of savory perfection that hand-released me from all previous notions of pizza. * And the baklava? Oh sweet mercy. It was a honey-soaked hand release into dessert nirvana. I considered legally changing my name to Pistachio. Non-Turks, non-locals, non-delicates--this place is for YOU. Turkish Bakery & Deli is a hand release from bland sandwiches and sad pastries. It's a flavor embassy where every bite is a diplomatic mission of delight. You don't need to know what sucuk is. Just trust the spice and let the hand release happen. The tea? One of them hand-released a tray of delights onto my table and I nearly proposed. Go. Eat. Hand release your palate. Let Turkish Bakery & Deli show you what flavor diplomacy really means.

This place is pretty impressive! The meat is cooked, they give you a variety of jams and dipping things for your bread. The servers are super friendly and the place is aesthetically pleasing. We understand that the restaurant was busy, so we patiently waited for a table. However, after being seated and placing our order, we waited another 20-30 minutes for our food to arrive. While the food was good, the service was extremely slow. The most frustrating part happened when we ordered an extra pancake for our child. Our server told us to pay for it when we were leaving, which sounded fine. After waiting another 20-30 minutes, we went to the cashier only to be told that we should have ordered it at the front counter. If that had been explained to us earlier, we could have done so right away and avoided wasting more time. The food was enjoyable, but the poor communication and slow service left us disappointed. Sadly, this is the second time we've had the same experience.
