Late June, 2020 I went to do the NASCAR racing experience…read morewith my family while we were on vacation in Daytona and had a wonderful experience. We booked it over the phone with Sally, and as we were comparing our options to what was available on Groupon, we were offered an additional 10% discount. Although that was slightly more expensive, it was much less hassle than it would be with booking through Groupon. We elected to do the ride along (it was cheaper) and Albert was our driver. He was fantastic! As a lifelong NASCAR fan, it went above and beyond my expectations. My only criticism would be that the pictures are a little pricy. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to every one of my friends.

The Mario Andretti racing experience is to ride along with a professional driver. I did the ride along for about six or eight laps. The G forces are truly amazing on the embankments. I have driven fast before on highways but never on an embankment. The embankment gives an entirely new feel to the speed. If you at all are interested or enjoy NASCAR racing you truly need to feel with the drivers go through when they are driving. Our max speed was about 185 miles an hour and it felt smooth as silk. Hats off to my driver who is doing this every day all day.

I was here on an off-day to take a tour of the track and the museum. I loved it! I had never been…read moreto a speedway before and I could feel the hype from everyone even though a race wasn't going on. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. My tour group was allowed to watch a race car hobbyist club drive their cars around the track which was really cool to see. The museum afterwards was very informational about all types of racing and their history (cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, boats, etc). I'm hoping I can come back someday to see a real race.

This review is strictly on the Rockville event they host here…read more Rockville was always a fun event to go to but Unfortunately, every year now the same thing happens... it rains, and they either cancel or evacuate. When they evacuate, the process to get back in is excruciating. A giant line forms when everyone is trying to get back in, and then you start to miss bands you wanted to see. Also, what use to be bands playing for an hour, this year played for 30 min or less. Changes need to happen. And you should start by Changing the date of when this event is held. I can't imagine going back and having to deal with the extreme heat, get rained out shortly after and be uncomfortable the entire festival. I'm sure many others are starting to feel this way.

The park wasn't packed so that was nice. The staff were helpful and kind. We didn't purchase any food or drinks on site so I can't speak on any of that. But they did provide a free water cooler which is all we needed. Lockers were available but we didn't use one. Plenty of seating and there's also shaded seating that can be rented if you choose. Also available were "cabanas" to rent which had tables and chair and a cooler you can use if you had a large party or something. We left, cleaned up and went to dinner then came back that evening to do the go carts and laser tag. The go cart staff was cool and everything went smoothly. The carts and maintained and ran well. The laser tag was fun also. We met several friends there and had a good time. Overall would recommend Daytona lagoon. Some prices seemed high but hey, welcome to Daytona beach in 2024 ‍. We'd go back.

Very much looking forward to a few relaxing hours in the water. I checked and purchased tickets online, the website clearly stated that all water park features were available for this rate. Sounded great! We arrived and immediately had problems with the staff validating our parking. Then, we asked about lockers, and they were $10 - $15 to keep your things safe. We paid that additional fee, and then realized that the lazy river was shut down. I asked a lifeguard why, and he said they were understaffed and maybe it would open at 4 or 5 (our tickets were only good until 6). Other visitors were also complaining about this. There are no umbrellas, just chairs in the sun. And the only attraction we wanted to do was closed so we got our stuff out of the expensive locker and asked for a refund. The manager said that the lack of lazy river access was specified in the online ad, which it was not. She then said that we should be happy since this was a discounted fee. We were not. They finally did refund our money but refused to refund the locker fee since they outsource this service. And, of course, the parking was still a problem. My husband also had bought a drink with a $20 bill and the attendant scrutinized it saying they had a lot of counterfeits. All in all the entire experience was hugely frustrating and disappointing. They treated us like the bad guys when they had clearly misrepresented the experience. I can see why no one was really there. This place could be a great asset to Daytona, but it is really a huge embarrassment. We won't be back, and we won't recommend it to anyone else.
