It's very clean and gorgeous products. It's open to the public and they have great showroom hours. I was assisted by a gentleman name Abdul he was just as kind and patient as the lady who had answered the phone. He went above and beyond trying to get me exactly what I needed. My main issue with it is as cheese sits on it it starts to get some of the slate plate imprinted on the cheese. My husband had asked if the cheese was moldy, but since I had just purchased and cut it up I knew that couldn't be true. At closer inspection it was clearly the grey/black color of the slate. Maybe that stops happening after multiple washes? Maybe I didn't give it a good enough first scrub? Not sure, but as long as that doesn't continue to happen I see myself putting out this Slateplate at pretty much every party I host! It even comes with a little piece of chalk that you can use to label all your charcuterie items on the plate.
