I wanted a female physician and located in Elk Grove. Her office is located inside the Sutter Medical Center on Laguna Blvd. I was referred to ob/gyn because I had a skin tag on my private part. Since it was my first time seeing Dr Collins, I was kinda shy and nervous. Dr Collins helped me relax and told me she will take very good care of me. She took a good look at the skin tag and asked if I wanted to have it removed. I told her yes. Then and there, she numbed me and snipped it away. She was really quick. All done within 5 mins. She was so good, I didn't feel anything after the initial stinging and I only bled a little. She didn't need to stitch me up! Dr Collins is really sweet, welcoming, friendly, nice and very professional. She listened to all my concerns and treated me with respects. When my employer decided to go ahead and make a mid year exception for me to switch my insurance, I immediately messaged her, and the nurses called me the next day and were able to squeeze in two appts for me before they had to schedule my induction. Dr. Overbey is amazing and very informative. When it came to the induction process, she knew exactly what to do and she makes her job seem so easy. She knows all the ins and outs and how to get things moving along for delivery. I will always and forever recommend her for prenatal care. She performed a procedure that could not be done at the K street location. Timberlake had the right equipment and the patient care was fantastic. Dr. Wilson and the receptionist at the front desk were very kind. They both took their time with me by asking questions and getting to know me as a person. Sadly, Dr. Wilson is moving on to another adventure with her career and I am excited for her. I have been a patient at the hospital drive location for over almost 15 years and I wasn't aware…read morethat this location was considered the "free" service location since I've always had private insurance. As usual I called and scheduled my annual check up and I wasn't advised at the time of making my appointment that I was now scheduled at the Bruceville office. I showed up at the Hospital drive location and the door was locked. I called the office and they then informed me that I was scheduled at the Bruceville location and they had called that location and they would still see me if I drove over right then. I drove to the other location and I was advised that I was late and they would not see me. Really I'm late due to their error and the hospital drive office had called and advised them of the situation. The Bruceville location was not courteous, apologetic or understanding of the situation. They refused to accommodate me due to the other office error and insisted I was late. I'm not sure if the older blue haired woman at the front desk just didn't want to do her job since its about time for he to retire and graze but she should not take that out on me due to an error that wasn't mine. I called the hospital drive office and they were at least apologetic and insisted the Bruceville office had agreed to see me when they called. I lived in Roseville and I drove clear across town since this has been my office, doctors and nurse practitioners of choice. They have since lost a patient since I've already found and scheduled with a new doctor closer to home and my office.

Calm mannered which is so very needed for a first-time pregnancy. He had up to date 3-D ultrasound equipment that he used EVERY visit and was included in his great and affordable costs for such one-on-one care. He was the one to actually deliver our daughter and he just came in, did his thing, let my wife take the natural route without any objections and just overall was a really good doctor. Gave my wife GREAT prenatal care and my wife and I are both SOO sad that we have moved to San Francisco because we would love to have him deliver our second. Maybe we'll take a trip to Sacramento for the prenatal care, he is that worth it! They also took same-day appointments many times and were very flexible.
