I had gone with Nate Atkins - State Farm several years back. When I switched at that time, I eventually received a notice from the state that the agent had never updated the MVD with my new policy information and my tags were suspended. It was towards the end of the year at that time, so I chalked it up to a busy time of year. I contacted the office, and they took care of it with the state. Fast forward, I eventually left State Farm as I had found less expensive coverage elsewhere. Nate Atkins office reached out to me in May and asked if they could quote me to see if they could get my business back. I ended up switching back, and this time they never updated my lender. I received a notice that the bank had received notice of my previous policy cancellation but never received my new policy information. I again contacted the insurance agency and asked them to take care of it, which this time they didn't as today I received another notice from the bank - two weeks later. I've never had an auto insurance agency not update the state or the lien holder, and it's happened to me twice now with this office. I guess I'm partially to blame for going back to them in the first place. If you use them, be sure to update the state and your lender if you have one, because this agency probably won't get it done. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with an insurance agency. Joe was friendly and very helpful, but it was all downhill from there. The autopayment that I had set up never went through and as a result I had to pay multiple months payments all at once. I thought I had fixed it, then the same happened again. Poor customer communication and care. AVOID THIS OFFICE! I previously had State Farm in a different state and office and was more than happy. I have not had any interaction with Nate Atkins, so it would not be fair to state his service was not good however, I did have numerous issues with the receptionists Megan & Audrey. One incident where the auto payment came out of my account when I called in ample time for them not to debit my account which threw my account into a tail spin. When I called the office, no one wanted to take responsibility for this error which costs me time and money. Megan placed my call on hold for an extended period of time and did not apologize for the long wait advising me that she had 'other customers' to attend to on other lines. (This telephone operator/receptionist obviously had issues with multi-tasking) I recently spoke with both Megan & Audrey regarding a $95.00 bill I received that demanded immediate payment for adding a family member onto my account without my permission to inflate my monthly bill. (My monthly bill was approx. $43.00 prior to this fiasco)This family member no longer lives in my residence. I called Nate Atkin's office to ask for an explanation and I was advised by Megan that she needed to call the billing office. I did not appreciate her tone, so I called back and requested the number to the billing office. I called the billing office and they advised me that they needed to call Nate Atkin's office! After a comedy of errors, Audrey called & left a message that my family member will be removed from the account however, was vague about the monthly billing. Our interaction did not go well as Audrey proceeded to talk over me and call my name out repeatedly. This negative interaction went back and forth for a few minutes. I am a professional, with a Master's degree in business and have never encountered this type of issue before. Just be careful when dealing with the 'help' due to the fact that my interactions have become very unprofessional with this particular office. I am in the process of changing offices, as the interaction I had with these individuals is no reflection on State Farm as a whole. read more

They arranged for everything to be moved over, and then we sat down with Nate to review all of the policies, and the differences between PA and Arizona. He was very thorough, and explained everything very well. He also helped us set up Life policies for our children which is something we'd wanted to do, but had forgotten about!
