It was close to home so I was excited and hopeful that I had found a new doctor. A couple weeks ago I went in for an annual exam. My appointment was at 3:00. I arrived a few minutes early and sat in the waiting area. Around 3:30 I was called back. I was asked why I was there by the assistant. I felt it was strange this was not notated in my chart. Anyway, she checked my weight, oxygen and blood pressure (which registered extremely low) then sent back to the waiting area as there were no rooms available. About 20 minutes after that I was called back and the assistant was going to check my vitals. I told her that was already done so back to the waiting room I go. This office was definitely not impressing me at this point. Maybe five minutes after that, I get called back and I am put in a room. I waited until 4:30 until Dr. Uzo finally came in. During my long wait for the doctor I did consider just walking out. Dr. Uzo seemed nice and asked me some health questions. She addressed the low blood pressure (which after talking to my daughter, who is a nurse, said they used too big a cuff on me which is why it registered so low). Around 4:45, I was taken to have my blood drawn by the office manager. She printed the labels that were to be attached to the vials and handed them to me with no explanation. I asked what I was to do with them and then she tells me to verify my name was correct. It was a strange interaction. When she was finished with the draw, she said I could go to the front and make my next appointment. She left me sitting in the chair. So I lifted the arm rest myself to get out of the chair and found my way back to the front of the office to leave. It would have been nice to be walked out instead of just left sitting there. All in all, I was there for two hours for a simple blood draw. A friend thinks they forgot about me in the room and they realized I was there when I came out to use the restroom during my long wait for the doctor. Sadly, I will not be back and will continue my search for a new primary care doctor.

He listens carefully, responds logically, orders only necessary tests, gives options, is patient, kind, hilarious, and thorough. If you are in a hurry to breeze in and out, this is not the place for you. Go to one of those other doctors who barely looks at you and spends a very minimal amount of time assessing your symptoms. If you want quality care with a truly wonderful doctor, go see Neil Groff. I now have ALL of my family members going to him, and all are very pleased with him. So sad that some people complain about his practice and the wait time. He has a vested interest in each of his patients. He calls back with lab results as soon as they are in. He is a rare treasure!

We have seen his brother for one visit. Both are good. Dr. Neil Groff has a more lighthearted, chummier bedside manner than his brother. That isn't to say that one style or personality is "better" necessarily - I just mention this so you will know which is better for you or your patient. Dr. Groff and his office have always been very accommodating to questions and concerns. The office accepts Medicare. The waiting room is pleasant and has patients from childhood through geriatric. There is not a 'Sick Child' section of the waiting room. There is a child's table but no toys, so bring your own or a coloring book & crayons. There is a large flat screen TV that usually has a Disney animated movie showing. On some days, Dr Marc Unterman, a cardiologist whose office is in Lawrenceville-sees patients at Dr Groff's Loganville office. This is very convenient! The office is also easy to find. Going east on 78, turn left on Lee Byrd Road, and turn into the small office complex on your right, just after the credit union. The doctor's office is on the right. If you need to drop off a FedEx package, there is a drop-off box in the rear of the parking lot.

I thought that was very kind of them although we were en route. Upon arriving, there was 1 patient in front of us. Check-in was easy and the attendant was very nice and helpful. I did not get her name but she explained the payment and if imaging was needed Before completing the paperwork, they were taking my dad down for imaging. There was no waiting. He was there for maybe 20 to 25 minutes Shortly after he was called back. The nurse practitioner saw him first. She was very attentive, engaging, and kind. Let's say she had "bedside manner" She asked my dad how he was feeling and what brought him in today. He explained what brought him in and what he anticipated from them. She went over the X-rays that were performed. She was quite thorough and she repeated it back to us as I was taking notes. Dr. Seecharan came in and introduced himself and went over the X-rays and the next step He too was very professional, attentive, and thorough. He requested an MRI and a CT of the neck/back. Follow up after they are done The office was clean and well-stocked with a variety of coffee and water. There were maybe 20 chairs in the lobby. The front desk was clean and organized. When I needed a quick answer his so called assistant sent me a email stating that if she needed anything she would let me know.She is the rudest most unprofessional assistant. My knee replacement seem to go well I had surgery on Monday and Thursday I had emergency surgery for my hole in my colon ( I should have died) my surgeon what the notes for my knee replacement my family called for 2 days straight no one answered my husband went there himself to get all my information. No one was at the front they were in the back having once again on a break, my husband got really frustrated that the lack of the professionalism . My husband is a very quiet man but this staff was taking there time getting the information that my surgeon was asking for, fyi his office tried to call and NO one was answering. To sum this experience if you are taking you mom or dad to seek help Dr Traub is amazing but you need to think about when you have a question or need a prescription refill or even a referral which is common after surgery you will spend many many wasted days trying to get this staff to do their job. For another time don't get me started on their billing mistakes they have billed me twice one was paid by insurance the other was denied brought to the accounting department not corrected as of today 4 months later.
