I once went to the records department to see the reports on a very weird traffic accident I'd witnessed, but never did get to see them because nobody in the records office spoke English. And the Framingham Police are the absolute worst at directing traffic that I've ever seen anywhere in the US or Europe. I don't know why they find it such a challenge, but they're awful. That's about it. I have no other real complaints. Some minor stuff like getting stuck permanently on "hold" when calling about non-emergency matters; nothing important.

Complete mayhem, a dangerous scene, ambulances and hook and ladders, plus every yahoo recording the action on their cell phone and yelling "woot, woot!" while smoking blunts. But the PPD mopped everything up, saw to the safety of the peeps and got things back on track for the citizens. The bottom line is that the police did a great job managing a complete shitshow and I for one am better off for their competence.

Everyone I was finally able to speak to was miserable and clearly hated their jobs. I'm sorry I need to disturb you, but I am thankfully not familiar with the process after an accident, especially after a hit and run. It was really nice to feel like such a burden while also dealing with everything else. The officer who responded was ok, but everyone else made me dread ever having to call back. Unfortunately, I am not done dealing with them since I still need an accident report and their hours are limited to my work hours, so I have the pleasure of dealing with them again in the middle of my workday (and paying for it), I can't wait.

The cops were nowhere near as buff as their sloshed challengers (that means drunk), but the element of alcohol probably tipped things in the cops' favour, as did strength in numbers. Anyway, it was comical and brutal and scary all at the same time. The same men had been racially abusive inside the Chinese restaurant where I was eating at 3am (Double Chin), and hadn't paid their bill. They'd wanted to lay a beatdown on the employees, but the cops had been nearby thankfully. Four stars for responding so well, minus one for so many crappy, illegal parking tickets given out.

Customer service was five stars, the difficulty in finding a parking spot/finding a garage is the reason for the lower rating!

They seemed to be utter professionals--cool and calm yet highly methodical as they went hunting for the one alleged terrorist brother who went on the lam after the shootout that killed his brother. I must confess two of my uncles were Massachusetts State Troopers, which is another great group of tough cops. But the Boston Police were awesome as they used a robot, flashbangs, and a thermal camera to apprehend second Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev . The Police Chief recounted in a press conference shortly afterward just how they got the bleeding guy hiding in a Watertown backyard boat. Additionally, the Police made great use of their Twitter feed by communicating with the public about exactly what was going on. The city of Boston should be very proud of their 5 STAR YELP Boston Police Dept.

About 5 Weymouth Police came barging in the one male grabbing me extremely hard. They had a warrant for my ex stemming from the MY original charges I pressed against him for abuse. I had no problem speaking with them. They refused to show me any warrant or even explain why they were in my house. I am not a criminal I do not have a criminal history I obey the law I called the police over a year ago for help when I was brutally attacked by a man in my home and the first thing this Male officer did was aggressively put his hands on me. I've only had to deal with Brookline police 3 times and 2 out of 3 were perfectly fine. One was locking myself out of my car. The officer was very nice. Second, was when a meter maid or whatever ticketed my car for parking in the driveway at my job. The driveway is a bit short so your back bumper sticks out a bit, but for a year no issues. Then everyone at my workplace starts getting tickets. They hired a new person who was a stickler. I appealed the ticket which was super easy and the sergeant dismissed it on the spot and apologized. Third, which was years ago, this K9 cop pulled me over for making an illegal turn. It wasn't so he wasn't even able to write me a ticket. Pointless traffic stop. To me they're cool.

When I called and explained this, the person who answered seemed confused about why I was calling and asked who had contacted me. I had to repeatedly explain that I was calling the police department because I had been told my wallet was turned in there, and that a librarian had relayed the message to me. What should have been a very simple conversation was unnecessarily confusing and frustrating. I expected clearer and more competent communication from a police department.
