BUT would you expect a shop/supermarket with full service butcher, fresh baked bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, countless tempting cakes, fresh flowers and plants, wide variety of beers and ciders, many wines, champagnes, gins and so much more - I think not! But at this service stop by the motorway this is exactly what you get!! A Wholefoods or Gelmans (for you Americans) or actually even better - a farmers market with all the trimmings - Wow!! I would say unique but it isn't - I asked and there are 3 more - a second (I assume) identical one on the Southbound side of the M5 motorway and two more elsewhere in Gloucestershire. I have been a customer of the Gloucester branch since 2015 (when the business was formerly known as…read moreBranson's) and first visited as a result of their reputation for excellent customer service and can honestly say this is totally justified in my experience. I have bought two new Honda bikes from them and will not consider taking my current bike anywhere else for servicing or repairs. All of the staff, in whatever department, are super-knowledgeable and genuinely seek to match you with the best product (bike, helmet, clothing etc...) to suit your particular wants and needs. This has actually saved me money in the past when I have had a pre-conceived idea of what I needed and time spent discussing this with the folks there has suggested lower priced alternatives that have performed perfectly for what I need. The best thing about visiting the Gloucester branch though, has to be the welcome given to every customer. I am not a regular visitor (once, maybe twice a year) but many of the staff remember my name and everyone gives such a warm and friendly greeting and is happy to share their knowledge and experience with no expectation other than to help inform their customers. Goods are well stocked and displayed especial the fruit and vegatables Queues at tills are usually not too long And there is a cafe for after you done your shopping serves grest breakfast. Trolleys can be locked in cubicles with you retaining the key while you eat Only minus is morrisons carparking is too small for the size of the store and can be difficult to find a space. I looked in both cuttlery trays and was dismayed to find both cotained dirty cuttlery. I took some extra serviettes to my table, so that I could give my knife and fork a good wipe. Whether the marks were from a dishwasher or something else, it is unacceptable, especially as all the other cuttlery was in the same condition. I didn't feel able to mention it to any passing staff, they looked pretty busy. As Morrisons is one of the four main supermarkets, you would think they could get the basics right.

I dont mind if it slightly more expensive but as I know nothing about cars I just want them to be honest with me as to the problems with my car. So far Newent auto centre has caused me no problems at all. they accept credit cards. The only small issue I have is that it is very difficult to find somewhere to park your car when droping it off. I usually end up leaving it in the middle of the forecourt and they move it but i would prefer some extra room.

I have found a number of the different bus drivers to be very pleasant, and always helpful with putting luggage below. I do, however, have one or two minor complaints of these services. 1) They don't run often enough, particularly on a Sunday. There are only between 1 and 4 services in a day, and this can be very difficult to work around. 2) The prices have gone up VERY significantly since I started using the bus a few years ago.
