We were traveling to Abilene; our connecting flight had a delay which caused us to be bumped to a much later flight. The Hertz Rent A Car office at Abilene airport was supposed to close at 10:00 pm. Upon learning that we would not be arriving until well after 11:30 pm, the team lead/manager stayed late just to wait for us and get us set in a rental car. For our first visit to Texas, we are indeed impressed by the hospitality.

We asked to see the video to prove this and were threatened with the police. I am an elderly disabled woman. So all that said I was out 800.00 deposit + rental + 1k if I didnt turn around and take it back to Abiliene. I feel this location is a borderline scam. Go with another rental company and just save yourself the hassle and lies. Just spoke with a supervisor at corporate who assured me it has been taken care of and the Budget rental in Abiliene is now under investigation.

Flat tire? Fixed...not once but twice. I always recommend you purchase roadside assistance. Twice we have had to switch vehicles in different states and it has never been a hassle. Once was Louisiana due to a flat fixed with only a spare. The nearest Enterpise put us in another vehicle without question. This time was in NM. Roswell, to be exact. The car from my local office began making a horrible sound. We found the only Enterprise open on Sat. At the airport. The manager was incredible and so kind! She immediately put us into another car. 10 minutes total, in and out. I'm so grateful for this company. They honor their word! As a female who travels, alone with her kids, it's good to feel safe! ​​​​
